I stayed here over the July 1 long weekend. It was overall a nice stay. I would stay here again. If you are expecting a 5 star fancy resort, you will be disappointed. We stayed in cabin and it was recently renovated. Nothing fancy, but clean and cute! The view from the deck was beautiful and you can watch the horses graze all around you. Everything was pretty easy, check inc etc. It is a very laid back resort. I had a relaxation massage and it was nice. The spa is clean and well priced. The pool area is clean and roomy. The front lobby is beautiful with all the wood furniture and horse paintings. The saloon is still under renovation so you can't go out onto the deck but the inside is nice. The staff was great and the food was good. A bit spicy for me, but yummy otherwise. The Japanese restaurant is good. Food was decent. Nothing fancy but tasty. The restaurant could definitely use some better atmosphere. Maybe some music? Breakfast was excellent. It had eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and potatoes. Plus cereal, coffee, toast. The horses are in great condition. Well looked after. We did the 2 hour trail ride with Logan. He was great guide! Very friendly and professional. The trails around there are beautiful. Saw a bear and grouse. Lovely being out in the bush like that. Horses are well behaved and don't spook easy which is great for those who have never ridden before. I do think the resort could benefit from a few things. Having better signs around the resort as well as the road would make it easier to navigate. It is still under renovation so some things around the resort are not finished. I really like the laid back atmosphere. The spa and staff are very friendly and I felt very comfortable here the entire stay. For what you pay, you really can't get a better deal. I would love to come here in the winter!
