Very clean. Great amenities in the rooms. Friendly service. Great breakfast.

Friendly staff, excellent selection at the complimentary breakfast, various sizes of room, conference center and a mini-gym. Rooms all have a microwave and minifridge as well.

What a find! Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel!

I have stayed at the Whitecourt Microtel for long stretches of time (2 weeks plus) on multiple occasions. I have been here for work, and personally I always choose to stay at the Microtel due to the amazingly friendly, happy and kind staff (Marsha the Manager is always extremely professional and friendly, Amanda is always fun to talk with and very helpful, Brenda is so sweet and always happy and willing to help with any issues). The hotel is always clean and warm, has a good breakfast selection and great rooms. The staff really make this hotel a great choice, especially anyone who spends long periods of time in Whitecourt for work. The gym is also one of the best hotel gyms I have used. Also the free cookies when you come in from work everyday are a great treat. Thanks Whitecourt Microtel Team!

Hotel is new, staff is friendly and super helpful. Room was clean and quiet and only reason this place gets a 1star is, I gave them my email to send a copy of the bill and wow, spam city. 5 emails "reminders" to rate then hotel and 9 emails about all the garbage I am missing out on by not being a windam rewards member. This in only 5 days. If you need a hotel room this place is great but the chain just begs like a 5 year old so stay but do not give them your email address.

The hotel is okay, but not great. The staff have been very friendly, and the facility is reasonably new and quite clean (considering the high volume of oil & has workers). The breakfast however leaves a lot to be desired. The coffee tastes like something you'd get a gas station and the "eggs" are patties that really don't resemble or taste like an egg in anyway. The room lights are very dim, and need 7 different switches to be turned on to make the lighting reasonable. No where near the worst place I've stayed, but not the best either.

Stayed here a few months ago and the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our room did not have a bathtub which is fine just something to be aware of if it matters. Hotel was very accommodating if we had any requests. There is also a little concession on site that sells a few basics if you forget something. Would stay here again for sure.

Rooms are very affordable and small. They have everything you need — microwave, fridge, shower, bed, internet, etc etc. The free breakfast food was solid, and there was free evening food as well.

Great hotel. Had trouble with my booking from Expedia but they helped figure things out and gave me a free upgrade for my troubles.

Stayed for one night, room was very nice and cozy. Bed was comfortable and clean. For people who like sleeping in, I would suggest getting any room that isn't located on the ground floor. I was woken up before 6am by diesel truck who was parked right in front of my window. Sound of the engine plus the headlight shining in wasn't a good way to wake up to. Would be nicer if parking wasn't allowed in the front of the windows of the ground floor.

Very impressed. Just as good as a luxury room at half the price.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel earlier this year. We were driving through and there was a blizzard so we stayed here to let the storm pass. We stayed with our dog in a pet room which was very clean and had a modern look. The bed was comfortable so we slept well. The breakfast was good and filling. It was a very good value for the money. If we come through the area again we would most likely stay here again!

Kept the spa open late for us as it was being serviced when we checked in. Recommended a good place for dinner and mailed back an item we forgot in the room. Excellent service. Room was modern and gorgeous.

It was clean and better all around than the Days Inn and Suites in Whitecourt. The customer service was great and so was the food. The price was very good and the staff was knowledgeable.

Overall good hotel… I wish I could get a king room… amazing gym… and a decent breakfast.

Staying here for work rooms are nice and bright. Fresh cookies at the front desk and a decent breakfast in the morning.

I have never stayed there, but I am a delivery driver so I have delivered there before. The hotel is very appealing to the eye, and I've never heard any customers complain about the hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel with great service. I would say everything is perfect except for the breakfast not living up to the rest of the hotel and its service.

New. Clean. Late reservation and check in was not an issue. Only slept there then left, so not sure about anything else there to warrant it 5 stars. :)

Modern, new, clean, comfortable beds. Liked the shower, not too much space in bathroom, but bedroom layout with desk, microwave & refrigerator/freezer made up for it. Very comfortable, good value. Highly recommend. Nice location within walking distance to terrific restaurant Soban.

Everything was great except internet speed was terrible.

Was there for an evacuee event. Microtell was giving out rooms for free to people who needed them. Helping those who lost EVERYTHING find some of what they need. Microtell was ground zero for love and support. They deserve all the stars.

The rooms are very satisfying for people working out of town. The computer desk is very nice.

Got in late and tired. Comfy bed that gave me a good night's rest.
