Always a pleasure too stay there. Except no restaurant. However clean rooms good price. Friendly staff. If you're a smoker its fantastic just open your balcony door. No more long walks.

Very surprised with this stay, excellent beds and easy access only thing missing is option for a in hotel b fast although new restaurant owners are expected in October according to staff. Definitely recommend this hotel, if you are in a budget best place to stay in lloydminster.

Large room, one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at in Llyodminster. Some wear and tear on the night stands but no bother. Housekeeping has been consistently great.

A decent place that is in between Regina and Edmonton. If you need somewhere to stay, this is a hotel I would recommend. It has cheap nights, and decent rooms. It has a gym, and a conference room for business means. The staff here is great, and the food in the restaurant is great.

Attended a conference in one of the conference rooms at the Royal Hotel and it was a positive experience all around. The staff appeared to be very attentive, washrooms were clean, and room was well set up. The only downfall was that the temperature didn't seem consistent and the HVAC was a bit loud when running.

Clean rooms, affordable price, great food and very friendly hotel staff. Would recommend.

Didn't grab any photos like I normally do but suffice it to say, the Royal is a good spot to stay. Renovated in the past year I would guess. It's clean, Steels restaurant is also good there with quick service and good food. I try to stay at different places when I go to Lloyd and if stay here again.

Renovated rooms, very clean, excellent staff and very accommodating, the free hot breakfast has awesome choices and quality along with being served fast so very accommodating to work start times.

Reserved a double bed room for 3 guests. Arrived around 7:30 pm. Front desk agent was rude and said she was unsure if she had a room, that the hotel was quite full. She got us one but said she didn't know if there would be parking (we did find a spot). Everything else was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was great and the best complimentary breakfast we had at any hotel. The front desk agent was extremely kind and accommodating at check out. Even called the local Kal Tire shop for us as we had a flat tire and gave us directions. Would recommend this place to anyone travelling.

Choose the royal hotel for our wedding reception and couldn't have picked a better place. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing. Many of our guests raved about the hotel. The royal hotel was absolutely perfect for our big day!

Why anyone would give this place a bad review is crazy I think! This place has the best staff and customer service! The free breakfast is amazing for being free. This will be the only place I will stay when coming to lloydminster!

Nice hotel with good rate and allows pets for only $10 per night. This is quite reasonable. Dined at their restaurant named Steels and found the food to be very good at a fair cost. On the negative side, they need to check up on the mattresses more because mine is shot. Luckily there are two beds and the other one is fine. All and all a very nice place with friendly staff. They even provide a welcome bag for your furry friend. Mine included spare food and water bowls, Towel and placemat for bowls. Thank you.

I am driving with my family from alabama to alaska. This is by far the best hotel we stayed at. Rooms are big, beds are comfy, bathroom huge. The free continental breakfast is best. The chefs makes your meal to order. I had 2 eggs with raisin bread and hashbrown. My waitress deenie was awwsome. Price of the room is cheap considering you get a hot meal for breakfast. Only down side is breakfast starts at 8am.

To be honest I was a little "iffy" when 1st walking up as it looked dated. But to my surprise it was a very clean room. Shower just about ripped my skin off theres so much pressure and free breakfast in the restaurant was very nice. If I roll back through Lloyd again I'd stay here in a heartbeat. Very friendly staff I may also add. Thank you.

Stayed at the hotel for one evening, and even though the hotel looks a little dated you cant beat the price, especially with a free fresh cooked breakfast menu to pick from. With 5 different options from omelette to bacon and eggs. Room was very clean and checkin was fast and pleasant. Also the bed and pillows were super comfortable.

Good hotel with good restaurant.

Like any hotel should be, it was clean and we were able to spend the night. However, exterior room access (while sometimes useful) proved a noisey overnight distraction. Add to that the maze like structure of the hotel itself and the varied assistance level of staff makes it unlikely to be chosen again.

Front desk lady named kera was ignorant she said all the rooms on the lower level we're booked and clearly they were not. It was 12:27 AM on July 12 2017 and I had knee surgery but clearly she didn't care… I'm PISSED.

Attended a wedding at the hotel. Very nice rooms for the event, and the staff were accommodating to the couple. Perfect location for a small, intimate wedding.

I picked this solely on the location and room rate. The lobby is appealing and there is a computer for use. On the side it looked like coffee and water with citrus slices available for guests. We drove over to our room where you had access from your vehicle right to the door. Very handy when you are travelling and need to get things out of and into the car. There is also interior access. Attractive room with four lush pillows on each queen-sized bed. To our delight, there as a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The products in the washroom were all Body Shop. The restaurant in the hotel served the usual fare and when we arrived it happened to be wing night. I ordered 6 wings and fries with gravy on the side. The wings were kind of small but tasty. My biggest disappointment was the fries were completely loaded with gravy. Not wanting to be a complainer, I tried eating them anyway. There was simply too much gravy. When the meal was over, the waitress asked if the meal was good. I told her about the gravy and to my chagrin, she did not apologize nor deduct anything from my bill. Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and wished we could stay longer.
