Staff is very accommodating.

This is the best hotel to stay and enjoy the Canadian Rockies — it’s right in front of the Athabasca Glacier. The views are surreal, the staff are amazing. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very memorable. Special thank you to Duncan who was our tour guide. We learned so much from him. The food was great — we had dinner and breakfast there.

Our stay was amazing. The staff was the best part of the trip. Kelsey, Kevin, Kaitlyn Daniel, and Clair made every moment ♥ one to remember.

If you love adventure, off the grid, chill atmospheres but also like high-end environments this is the perfect place to be. Go on an adventure and get treated like a queen/king! Exclusive experiences. Prompt tentative service. Highly recommend staying here. Also it's a super romantic space.
I can for my birthday with a couple girl friends and my newest baby, but I will be back with my husband and back again with my entire family in the future for sure.

Location is amazing with mountains, glacier around. Very expensive but rooms are spacious and can accommodate family of 5. No breakfast/ dinner included in that huge rental amount.

We booked this place via a tour with Supervacation in the summer. Service and food were not bad. And the loft was spacious with glacious view of course. However there was mouse in my room that I saw at night and it ran over my foot in the morning. Be mindful if you see a white box in your room, it's for catching mice. Their staff showed up but couldn't find where the mouse went. I could hardly fall asleep because of this. Last time they saw mice there was three months ago according to their staff.

Very nice hotel with a magnificent view of the Andromeda glacier, but the parking is excessively far from the hotel, making luggage transport difficult. The room price is expensive for the services offered. The view is still stunning!

I thought it was a fun experience. The only downside is that there is know phone connection and the family rooms are a little tight in terms of sleeping space if you have a family of 6 or more.

Thank you to Stephan, the front desk agent, for mailing my children’s stuff (back to us) that we left in the hotel, such nice and concerned hosts! The rooms can accomodate a big family, i. E. With king/queen size bed, a sofa bed and 2 single beds on the loft with enough space to move around. Price is good too. Take advantage of the rooms facing the glacier, the glacier view in the morning was so fantastic. Two restaurants on the second floor provides wholesome meals.

Beautiful! I feel like the Altitude Restaurant was a wee bit over priced at first, but the meal received was excellent! Would definitely return given the opportunity.

Rooms are "okay" … out dated. But being in location near glaciers and having access to shops is helpful.

The hotel rooms are decent. Not a kid friendly place. No play zone, park, pool, kid friendly meals or high chairs in restaurants. Also, hardly adult friendly. The whole place closes at 9, no where to go for drinks, entertainment or food after that. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids. The only restaurant open for dinner was very pricey and out of chicken and beef at 6 pm on Friday. The hotel was over $300/room/night without amenities for families. Yes, the view was great. The hotel definitely needs an update and reorganization. The staff were great but all doing more than one job and quite busy.

Glacier View Inn was beautiful! Such great staff and wonderful rooms! Its located in a breath taking location with views of mountains from every room!

Although It’s a tiny town, but we are surprise to learn that their service is a lot more professional and better than most big city like Toronto :) thank you Judy for looking after us and making our road trip a lot more enjoyable!

The moment we alighted the car, the view was very fascinating and we were excited that we would experience the best day of our tour and especially for my mom who visited us for the first time. Except for the view of the glacier through the window of our room, the overall experience was awful. I will list some of the drawbacks of this place which would mainly help guests with elderly people and food limitations. 1. No provision for quick drop off for luggage and elderly guests at the lobby. Need to walk all the way from the parking lot. 2. The room was so cold when we went in. We turned on the heater ourselves (the other one was hard to turn) and the room wasn't getting warmer even after an hour which was when we realized the windows were were all open and covered by the curtains. We closed the windows but still it was cold even after a couple of hours. We asked if a portable heater was available to at least keep my mom warm, but were told they do not have any. 3. No provision of micro wave either in the room or in the common area. 4. Limited and expensive food options. Dinner buffet was around $42 and the only one available when we went there. Hardly any options for vegetarians. 5. Staff were helpless.

High rating for the ability to be left alone in front of the glacier, between 18:00 and 9:00, where all other tourists had left. Walking to the glacier in the morning, before all tourists was priceless. On the down side — room had no fridge, and the bed wasn't properly set.

We like going in May when there are few people. The hotel is quite ECO-friendly. The early morning glacier with daylight just beginning to glow is spectacular. The restaurant is quite passable and the rooms with loft are so much fun! The drive is also an amazing otherworldly experience.

We arrived late, at about 8. It appeared that there was one person working in the entire establishment, but he was great. The beds were comfortable, but were put together in an odd fashion. There were no fitted sheets, just a flat sheet tucked in under the mattress corners, and there was a duvet with no cover and two more fitted sheets wrapped around it. No other sheets or blankets. The staff were great, we took the glacier tour, and all team members were fantastic, a special shout out to Sam.

Hotel l in the middle of nowhere with views of the glacier.

Way too expensive for what the room offered. It was not too clean, the room itself as well as the bathroom were very used and old. We payed 350$ for one night in a double room and you can at least expect a nice room for this price even in a remote location. My recommendation: drive on.

Big rooms, clean. Food is limited and not that great.

Food was very expensive for relative serving sizes. Quiet room, fun daytime activities Had Thomas as a tour guide, he was phenomenal Overall pleasant stay.

Good hotel and the location is hard to beat. The bus trip to the glacier is also a highlight.

Stayed in a loft room facing the back end of the hotel. The room was very accommodating for a family of five. The room didn't have AC, which I'm assuming most of the time isn't needed (but it was 28 degrees, when we visited). The pullout couch needs updating; it offered very poor support for our 13 year old. All the other beds were quite comfortable. The hotel staff were very pleasant and informative. The dining room was over priced and poor quality frozen/box food. Make sure to stop to eat before arriving or pack a lunch. Icefields tour and guides were 1st rate.

We didn't stay in the accommodation portion, but rather the visitor centre. The food at the cafeteria was great (buffet style), the view across to the Glacier was even better.

We did a one night stay in Sept 2010, combined with the tour up the glacier. The lodge was just what you need for a one nighter.

Location incredible. View incredible. Hotel was disappointing. No fridge or microwave was real problem, esp with the prices at hotel and cafeteria! Loft room was nice and enough room for 5 people to be comfortable. Taps that don't stay on was a pain! Maybe they do that so don't waste water but regular taps with perhaps some signage to respect water usage would be a much better option. Couldn't find temp control for the rm (no idea if it's in the rm or not) but was bloody hot! Kept window open all night (mtn air was lovely) but way too hot. Save on water but waste energy. Great that they allow pets. Pull-out couch was death trap; if any weight on front (were normally put pillows) the end would flip up! Pretty sad quality for the price tag. Give higher rating for the view and v. Nice staff.
