Very clean up to date hotel and rooms. Nice cozy beds. Great hot breakfast in the morning, so much to choose from. One of the best hotel experiences! :) Cant wait to stay again.

We have stayed here several times because of the great location and breakfast options. Our check ins always fast and efficient and we appreciated being upgraded to a king room because of our rewards status without even asking! Will definitely stay here again!

As youthful as the staff is at this hotel, they were even more pleasant and professional. I spent a most wonderful six consecutive days. The staff created an atmosphere where I did not once question my choice to stay there. Plus the breakfasts are wonderful (all six of them).

Stayv was for two weeks while working in st Albert. Bed was comfy and room was fairly quiet. Room Cleaning not 100 per cent. Pool is warm enough and hot tub is hot. No water slide though. Staff was friendly. Breakfast fare average for this hotel chain though I find the hot items (eggs, sausage, etc. ) overly salty and pretty much inedible. Fruit cups were available which was nice and not often seen.

When I come to Canada from my home in Costa RicaI stay here if I can. It is Dog Friendly and has a great breakfast. Close to Edmonton and everything it offers. The Anthony Henday Drive, a ring road, can get you to many locations around Edmonton like the West Edmonton Mall or the Highway to the Edmonton International Airport YEG. Right in the center of shopping in St. Albert. The Inn has indoor swimming pool and workout room plus a counfenance room to rent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay.

My stay here In St. Albert Best western plus. Was truly amazing, the rooms were absolutely clean the beds were very comfortable, I was really impressed. And not only that but, I was really amazed by how close the shopping mall was. I am Definitely coming back.

Beautiful hotel with a nice water feature just outside the entrance. The staff that I talked to were all very friendly. Breakfast was pretty standard for a hot breakfast at a hotel, but everything was fresh and there was plenty of it, which some hotels don't really do. Hot tub and pool are nice and it seemed like there was lots of parking.

Great stay overall; room was clean, all throughout the hotel everything smelled great, good service, good free hot breakfast, quiet, great location. Seems like the high-speed internet has greatly improved from a year or so ago.

Great breakfast options, clean, modern rooms, and friendly staff. The hotel makes efforts to be eco friendly by having a reuse towel program, recycling old soap, showers only (no baths) … And for a decent price. It's near a main road but don't hear traffic all night. Close to grocery stores and shopping so you can walk between locations. Would sefindefin stay here again.

Very nice comfortable rooms. They are maintained in great condition. The bed is very nice to sleep on. Excellent breakfast provided in the morning with gluten free options. I liked that coffee and tea were provided all day. It is located close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The pool is pretty decent size with a nice hot tub.

So so so good very impressed clean professional and oh so truly refreshing to really find a business that is all about taking care of you not just run a business I would recommend this to anyone was really a great overall experience, shout out to Samuel who really went above and beyond and took the time to chat with my boy who was nervous about staying away from home great rubix cube stories!

I believe his name is Simon, tall guy, long hair, glasses and works at the front desk; he was my go to man for all my hotel needs. He went above and beyond to guarantee that my stay was perfect. Housekeeping did excellent work. The breakfast staff no matter the size of crowd always put out a terrific breakfast. I stayed for over 20 days and was thoroughly impressed.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last 5 years, both as an interim place to stay as we packed to move and each time we come back to visit (a few times a year). We have always had pleasant service from the front desk staff, friendliness with the cleaning staff and enjoy their pool/hot tub. Amenities are always clean and if we've ever had an issue or concern, the staff have been more than helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Best West in St. Albert!

I found the hotel excellent. Lobby is beautiful and smells great! The pool was nice looking and salty which was nice for us since chlorine dries out the skin. The breakfast was awesome — just missing bacon. The room was nicely furnished and we liked the jacuzzi. I found the bed average comfort level. The staff were super nice and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast from cold/ hot cereal to breads & bagels, eggs sausage waffle pancakes fresh grit… Excellent! … front desk & housekeeping staff all professional & friendly! Oh ya plus pool & hot tub.

Best breakfast hands down! They have a pankcake maker and a waffle maker! And tons of other things! Pool is really clean and and the rooms are so well maintained! Staff is always so friendly and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Edmonton area! Highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. Clean, spacious rooms with a place to work if needed… and easily accessible plugins for your computer. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have expected… I'd give it an 8/10… but the bedding a pillows were perfect. The included breakfast in the morning had everything a person would need (lots of options) to fuel up for the day. I would definitely stay again.

Pet friendly doesn't mean all pet types unfortunately. I have two cats, a reptile and 2 amphibians (all rescues of sorts). My job means I now have to move but when I tried booking with this hotel was told only cats and dogs are welcome. The assistant manager was sympathetic but unwavering in the hotel's position. So this place is "CAT and DOG" friendly only. I understand people have phobias however irrational fears should not dictate policy. I offered to enclose and secure the "exotic" pets in locked containers if this would satisfy the hotel but they declined my business. Fortunately for me I have relatives in the area who are willing to help out, an inconvenience but a better option than not having a place to stay. The silly thing is Dogs need to go out regularly and both cats and dogs can trash a room however my "exotic" pets don't even need to leave their secured enclosures (nor would I want them to) so realistically are the least risk to the hotel and to me with regards to liability. Pet friendly should mean just that, cat, dog, snake, salamander, turtle, bird or goldfish. These are all "pets", if you are Cat & Dog friendly then that should be how the advertisement reads.

This a modern and stylish hotel that has a lot to offer. Stayed in the executive suite that had a comfortable king size bed and a living room with pull out couch. The room was spacious and also features a wet bar. It had everything we needed for a young family. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and had everything you could want hot and fresh from pancake maker, hot oatmeal dispenser, waffle bar, peeled hot hard boiled eggs, bacon, fruit, etc… Staff were friendly and the location is great. The only downside is that the AC is only a window unit and couldn't cool down the large suite.

Front desk Staff was super nice to both me and my friend that stayed there for the night. They were so cooperative and helpful when I told them my friend probably wasn't going to be in till past midnight. The kitchen staff offered to make them a custom breakfast and the front desk let them into the pool early all because it was their birthday! The room had a huge king sized bed in it and beautiful furniture. The over all experience made my friend never want to leave! Thanks for the amazing service and for making their birthday that much more special!

Hands down one of my best hotel experiences from start to finish! Love our king suite, the pool/hot tub, business centre and the breakfast! Staff was so incredibly welcoming and helpful. Will def recommend and stay there again!

Nice quiet rooms, excellent breakfast offerings. Wi-Fi can be a little slow especially in the evenings but that's the case at most hotels these days.

Service was excellent, hotel was clean, comfortable. Staff went out of their way to be accomodating, which was especially nice as there were a lot of freshly evacuated people from Ft. McMurray.

The Best Western in St Albert is my first choice when I travel to St Albert. I love the big comfie beds, the spacious rooms, the spotless bathrooms. The Wi-Fi operated well for me. The TV worked as did the cable. I enjoyed the breakfasts. The selection was fine and I enjoyed the convenience of helping yourself. The dining room was comfortable and homey. The front desk staff were always extremely accommodating. I found the hotel, lobby, dining room attractive, clean and well maintained. On all of my occasions that I stayed with Best Western, I had a room with a view. The Location is perfect — an easy walk to shop or to restaurants. I would highly recommend any travellers to stay at The Best Western in St Albert.

This place is alright. It's in a good location, next to the main road through town but you still don't hear much noise from the road and it's clean which is the most important thing to me. The showers really suck, it took about 5 minutes before it started flowing hot water and that's not even an exaggeration I started it brushed my teeth and it was still only Luke warm for a few more minutes. The shower head is 7' up, my girlfriend is 5'5" and couldn't reach it… Which was kinda funny… and it has one of those shower curtins that either attacks your leg or pops out of the 3" ledge on the floor and soaks out the bathroom. The T. Vs are a throw back to the 90's, can't rent movies and there's a separate channel for the TV guide… I didn't even know that was still a thing…

The best Western on st Albert trail was a good experience. The front desk agents were friendly, and accommodating. I found the rooms to be very clean. All together no issues.

Slowest elevator on earth, take the stairs. Crappy digital TV, with no good programs, no guide, TV resets to loudest point every restart. Pillows are gigantic, hurt my neck. Breakfast was not too bad though egg wraps were rubbery, scrambled eggs cold, and waffle machines weren't working (were not set at proper temp). I went back… breakfast was great! Lots of good food. Crappy digital TV, hard to believe they probably pay Shaw for that tripe. My own cable company in Halifax (Eastlink) has 100 channels of great programming, something for everyone and that's just the basic plan, I don't have all the extras. Why can't Best Western have this? I had to watch a rerun of Frasier on my iPad. How bad is that?

Huge Security Concerns at this Hotel The location and room at the hotel were absolutely fine; however, I was completely concerned for my safety the third night I stayed in the hotel. Apparently they believed that it was appropriate to send their workers (in casual clothing without any ID) around the hotel knocking on doors and entering without waiting for approval to enter. This occurred around 8:30pm at night while we were relaxing before bed, not expecting any guests. As two women staying in a hotel room, having an unidentified man and woman enter the room without knocking and waiting for us to open the door was absolutely terrifying. The only excuse they gave was that their computer system was not working and they were checking which rooms were vacant. They could have easily called our room or knocked more than once and WAITED for someone to come to the door. Knocking one rap and then immediately entering a hotel room that may or may not be vacant is NOT acceptable. I will never be staying with this hotel chain again as they clearly do not understand proper security protocols, I don't think I would be able to sleep.

The pillows were too big. The breakfast was good but the cutlery was plastic. The room was good and clean. The staff were friendly. Would be five stars if they could give me a proper fork to eat with. I mean, plastic forks? Really? In 2014? Otherwise very good. Would stay again, but will bring my own fork.

Great place! Very clean and staff very accommodating. We spend a ton of nights on the road and I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was inviting and we were met with great enthusiasm by the staff. Being a family of 5 the breakfast room was a great benefit to us and a huge savings. Also the breakfast room ladies were very efficient and kept the warm food trays full. It was very busy especially on the Saturday morning and they opened another attached room to accommodate the many people. Pool time was very much enjoyed towel racks were kept full. An addition of a waterside would be great but we cant have everything. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back for sure.

Our stay was fantastic! the staff was great. My kids loved the pool. And I loved the hot tub. Breakfast was great and different everyday. My only complaint would be parking. Cant wait to go back :).
