Cute and cosy rooms. Good breakfast! I would recommend if you aren't wanting to spend tons on a hotel room. Very reasonable prices.

We were met with friendly and professional staff who gave us an excellent rate for our one night stay. The bar/dining room had super steak and outstanding fish and chips. Our room was basic but very roomy. Unfortunately the room was 28 degrees Celsius and the room air conditioner did not work well for 4 hours. We should have called down for assistance!

Came to this motel and right away wasn’t the best experience, door was jammed so front desk had to come fix it, then got to my room and I had my dog with me and he started sniffing around and went straight to the bathroom and the garbage hadn’t been changed there was a dirty pad in the garbage and other stuff. The shower hadn’t been cleaned there was a used bar of soap with a long black hair on it, used shampoo and conditioner bottles. None of the shower had even been wiped down. Toilet paper wasn’t changed. So I called the front desk explained it all they then agreed to give a discount in the morning, I then decided to lay down, room was so hot and AC didn’t work whatsoever my dog (a husky) wouldn’t even lay down just was panting so decided to leave. Was a awful experience especially the dirty pad and long black hair on the bar of soap. Only good part of the experience was they gave me a full refund no questions asked. Would never recommend this place to anyone. I would like to say front desk girl was awesome and so polite and helpful as I said with the refund. I forget her name but thanks! Also if nova inn manager sees this, please remind your cleaning staff to do their jobs properly as I’m sure it looks poorly on the entire staff which is never the case.

This place was a new experience to me. I've never had to go down three floors and walk across a three lane street to the other building they have where the office is locates to get my key card reprogrammed before. Good note, the breakfast was pretty good. It's always nice when hotel breakfasts consist of real eggsRooms were clean and comfy but felt a tad damp. The a. C. Was broken also, and the room was very hot.

Good place to stay but not fancy. Dont plan on using the pool because it's been out of commission for a few years with no plans on repairing it.

The Nova is a decent place to stay. Beds are good and the staff is friendly.

Decent rooms decent rates and very friendly staff breakfast needs a little less mass produced and more personalization but still good.

I stay in Edson a few times a year and have stayed at a number of hotels through out all of Alberta. This one is the only one I keep going back to after my first stay in Edson. The staff are always super friendly and the rooms are nice. They are typical hotel rooms you would find anywhere else but the staff stick out the most to me. They are the only hotel that I have stayed in that still acknowledges you as you walk in or out and will ask if everything is ok during your stay. The restaurant has changed since my first stay but it never disappoints me. I stayed there last weekend and we had table side breakfast served and the plate was huge and way more you would have if they served buffet style that day. The gentleman in the restaurant was friendly and on top of everything and was even the cook that morning. In speaking with the staff I also found out that this hotel company is based out of Edmonton and the owner is a down to earth Alberta man. Why wouldn’t you support local!?! Keep the Alberta’s money in Alberta! All in all great hotel, wonderful staff and great little town! Keep up the good work! A+

Great place, looked after all our needs and the rooms were really nice. Comfortable beds and roomy rooms.

Hotel is ok. Some of the amenities could use some repairs. The friendly staff helps make the place worth staying at.

Smells kinda like smoke. (Cigarette). Great otherwise.

Good price, very friendly staff and a clean place to sleep. The breakfast could have been a little more fresh? But otherwise satisfactory. The only thing that was a huge bummer is that there are only 2 pillows per bed… Which is fine with when you're solo, but not so much if you're sharing a bed with someone else!

Staff have been nice and general hotel and rooms are clean. I am staying in a Jr sweet and even the pull out couch is fairly comfortable.

Awesome staff! Very friendly environment. Down to earth people who go to great lengths to make you feel at home and super comfortable. One of the lovely ladies at the front desk even gave my wife a large squash to take home! ❤️

Good value. Pet friendly. Clean rooms, spacious rooms. Usually stay in Hinton on route to Jasper. Decided to give Edson a try instead, with lower cost pet friendly rooms. The Inn and town of Edson caters to the oilfield industry more then tourism. The room itself was slightly outdated, but featured a good hot shower, large TV and comfortable bed and was very clean. The in room ac was an obvious after thought and while it looked new, it was fairly noisy and didn't do that great of a job, keeping the room comfortable but not cold. The front desk staff both at night and in the morning was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay at the Nova again while on route to Jasper.

This place is great! I have spent countless nights here and haven't had to many issues. Only issue is one of the older lady's on their staff shows zero respect to customers and would rather read a book instead of look at you when asking a question (there was another staff member present) but still very disrespectful especially when she cuts people off mid conversation. The staff in this business are everything especially when you spend many nights away from home. Lady if you don't like your job, don't make a successful and pleasant business suffer from your miserable attitude.

Good location, cheap rooms.

The rooms were older but kept very clean! The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. I stayed there for almost 2 weeks and it was quiet and felt like home. I never tried the breakfast, but Lily's, the pizza place (although fairly expensive) had really good pizza. I'd recommend this place for sure!

The room was ok but a little too warm and the AC was turned off so I had to open a window to cool it off. The food and service in the restaurant was great.

Rooms have both fire places and air conditioning. Some power sockets don't seem to work.

Don't recommend this hotel the bed was very uncomfortable. The hallway and our room had an overpowering smell of deodorizer so bad u could taste it and gave us an instant headache. We asked for a fan to help clear the room twice but never received one. It was like 27 degrees in our room in January with the heat off and window open we had to turn on the air conditioner which sounds like an army tank but it did work. Then for so called FREE breakfast u get one ticket per bed not per person. They also advertise a pool and hot tub but was out of order and has been for weeks but failed to mention that at time of booking. The shower and bathroom sink had next to zero pressure so had to have baths in water that wasn't quite hot enough. If there is any other available hotels don't stay here.

Stayed four days. Went to take grandchildren to the pool and it and the hot tub were out of order. Continental breakfast was only good for two people per room. Anyone else had to pay for breakfast. Restaurant turned out to be a bar so no-one under nineteen was allowed in. Maid service would came at 9am. If you were not ready you did not get room service for the day because they didn't come back. 4 days with no room service. Check out time was 11am but the key stopped working after 9am.

The nova inn is comfortable and cozy.

Really nice staff and rooms, I haven't used the pool yet, but it looks decent. The restaurant is the best, really, really good lunch buffet.
