Put us in our room and it was dirty… but us in another room was a little less dirty also made rude comment to wife. Definitely not 4.5

Nice area, nice rooms, and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Definitely the worst experience I have ever had with booking a room and the customer service upon checking in. Me and my husband were looking to spend 1 night here on our trip back home. We have a dog and rely a lot on the bring Fido app to find pet friendly hotels. We ended up finding this hotel and the room we specifically where looking for. On the bring Fido app it is advertised that the king suite with a king bed and balcony view is pet friendly. We called the hotel directly to double check to see if the king suite with the king bed and balcony view was indeed pet friendly. On the phone with the hotel the employee we were talking to told us that the room we wanted to book was pet friendly. So we went a head an booked it. We arrived and checked in. As we were bringing our bags in for the night we were stopped in our tracks and told we could no longer stay in the room we had originally booked. Apparently it goes against hotel policy to have a dog in the room. We were told we had to switch rooms. The room we got had furniture that was falling apart, rust in the bathroom and just not up to par with cleaning. If you own a pet and want to book a hotel definitely book somewhere that does not false advertise there rooms. Definitely will not be booking here again on my travels to Calgary.

I enjoyed our stay, the staff was amazing and the pool — while rather cold for an indoor pool — was fun for the kids! Be careful when booking, if you call it is likely you will be sent to a central booking line and the person you book with could know NOTHING about the hotel youre booking for. I had a few concerns; the first was rather funny when the lady I booked our room with asked "What country British Columbia is in, " We were booked in without our wedding rate, and when we arrived we discovered we were accidently put in a very small room with 1 double bed (for 2adults and 2kids), the room was in poor condition with furniture that was falling apart so I'm glad we were there by mistake. Thankfully font desk staff was able to move its to their last avail room with space for us all even though it was a single king with pullout as opposed to the double queen I booked. The hotel is really simple/nice but very loud day and night. Which proves benificial when youre showing up at 3am fully cut I would stay again but I would be making a lot of follow up phone calls and assuring the off site booking is both correct in price and for the specific room ☺ AVOID THE BREAKFAST BUFFET! I have done a lot of hotel breakfasts and can do crappy food — this is worse! You will have more luck from the breakfast menu but this is not a place that prides on food quality! Well… unless stale, soggy, cold, slop is your fave.

Clean quite and great staff highly recommend I stayed there with a 15 week old baby and a teenager and the staff was always so helpful and friendly it was very warming to be there for 4 nights :)

We stayed here a few weeks ago and it was not great. Check in took over 15 minutes. The poor kid behind the desk had an “in training” tag and no one was around to help him. TV kept saying no signal so we had no channels. Night manager asked for my phone number to pass along to the front desk manager and then I also wrote an email to the front desk manager asking her to get back to me and 3 weeks later no one has responded. There are a few hotels in this area. Do yourself a favour and avoid this one. It’s not a small hotel and only has one elevator so expect to wait at least 6 minutes (10-15 during check out) for it to come.

Room was comfortable, we enjoyed the balcony and modern decor. Front desk service was hit and miss. Some employees were quite stand offish and rude when asked simple questions, others were decent, but not spectacular. The restaurant had good food, but the service again was strange, just not very attentive, and some staff were unprofessional and sometimes just odd. I found a hair in my food at dinner (it was handled well, my meal was taken off our bill), and my coffee cup had a dark dried rim on the inside at breakfast. The spa was excellent, I had a fantastic pedicure and the service and facility was amazing. The pool was great, the water didn't sting our eyes and the waterslide was fun. Complimentary coffee in the lobby was very good. I didn't like the setup of the building, that some rooms are very far from the entrance and makes for a long walk when making multiple trips in and out throughout the day sometimes. We loved the view of Olympic Park, that was the highlight of our stay.

Everyone from the minute we checked in was great. Judas, at the front desk was especially helpful and professional. Our room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was extremely welcome as it was hot out. The room was very quiet even though we were on the first floor. A really nice place to stay.

Quality hotel, no major issues to note. Some of the interior is starting to show age but overall it's quite nice. The breakfast is very nice with lots of good options. Bed was comfortable but a bit hard, bedding was decent quality. Overall a good place to stay.

Clean, friendly staff and very attentive to all of our needs. I go bi weekly for a course I'm taking and the front desk staff are super friendly and welcoming. Always fresh bowl of red juicy apples to welcome you as well, and the room is clean, fresh water and glasses, and the staff come in between sessions to refresh everything. If your looking for a great conference room. Check this out!

Pretty good. I couldn't get an appointment with the spa though. First they said a pedicure. Then they said a facial. Then it was unavailable. Everything else is good.

Third year in a row here for a week long event. Staff are great, breakfast Buffett is great and they open for us early to accommodate our schedule. Bar and pool open late too. Rooms are great and offer free bottled water daily.

Nice modern room, with comfortable bed. Excellent location if travelling West. Handy to gas, food, coffee when heading out. Hotel has spa, pool, exercise facility and salon. Will stay again.

Nice hotel, cost a little more than I thought it should have for the location. It's a little outdated. Really nice lounge and entrance area Plus Great staff.

Went to the bowridge location for some food and to relax. Food was a good price amazing quality with even better service. Relaxing music not too loud with a nice calm vibe. Will be going back to visit more often.

This hotel is full of hidden gems like the amazing spa, full of amazing women know show passion to their art, the nice pooland hot tub and the amazing food in the restaurant! The burgers are huge and delicious, the fish tacos are well presented with a taste that follows. Definitely will Come back.

Four points hotel is great. Staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. I will recommend it to everyone.

We were here for an event and they provide buffet lunch. Their catering is so terrible that made us lost our appetite after a few bites. Please don't try their dessert just because it looks good or else it will make your day really bad. Other than the catering, their staffs and environment are good.

Good rooms but the security is severely lacking. Children running and screaming up and down the hallways all night. Impossible to get work done or sleep soundly.

Very comfortable hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. We had an nice view of the ski jumps and hills. A bit difficult to get to the first time. Several fast food restaurants and gas stations nearby.

I would like to say thank you to Lea she was truly amazing! thank you for the upgrade room and the free breakfast. The card under the door for Breakfast was absolutely wonder.

The catering was very terrible. We were a fairly small group of maybe 40 but they still had a hard time keeping food on the table during our break. Which consisted of hummus dip and overly greasy fried falafel. Taking 10 minutes to bring pita and hummus out. The baba ganoush never made it.

Great rooms: clean, quiet and modern with very comfortable beds. The staff are friendly & helpful. The hotel has many amenities: in room and throughout the hotel (spa, business center, hair & nail salon, gift shop, pool, sauna, etc). Parking is free. **UPDATED REVIEW** If you see any type of bus in the parking lot, feel free to find another place to stay. 2 buses stayed at the hotel and for 2 nights there was no peace and quiet, and the noise continued into the morning. The hotel said there was "extra security", but did nothing to stop the drunken-howling from patios around 2am, the screaming children running unsupervised up & down the hallways, or the scuffle that broke out in the hallway early one morning. Not to mention they booked us in a room right smack-dab in the middle of the team rooms. Poor organization on the hotels part as they should try to keep the noisy guests to the lower floors, and other, quieter (more respectful) guests on higher floors. And don't get me started on how disrespectful people suddenly become when staying in a hotel … Ask if there are sports teams staying in the hotel before you stay otherwise you might regret it big time.

It was a nice hotel. The only problem I had was that sometimes you could hear things from the parking lot from our room on the third floor. It was fine at night but during the day it could get quite noisy but I still enjoyed my stay.

I was here for a work event. It was well done with a good bartender, good quality alcohal, and very good food (it was a buffet). The wait staff was effecient. Overall it was a nice time.

Overall great place to stay… especially if you don't like to deal with Calgary traffic. Close to trans Canada and partial ring road but still has all amenities near by ie. Family restaurants, fast food, liquor store, gas stations.

We had a fabulous king suite with jacuzzi. Every thing was wonderful. The pool and hot tub were great, and the breakfast buffet was tasty. All over great experience.

Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Great amenities. Bed was very comfortable and huge which was fantastic. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was a reasonable price $9.99, all up with tip $25.95 for two. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Well appointed and clean rooms with comfortable need. Convenient USB charging on the night stand. Would be 5 stars with a complimentary Continental breakfast… But they do have an on site restaurant with room service, and there is plenty of fast food nearby for grab and go breakfast.

Been here several times. The location is why we've stayed here. Close to children's hospital and very easy to access main roads. Little dated but quite satisfied overall.

This is an exceptional hotel… The rooms are large and attractive with extremely comfortable beds. The restaurant is also very attractive and has interesting and delicious food offerings. Craft beers, great wine selection and interesting cocktails are also featured. There is a daily breakfast buffet worth considering. This SPG hotel will leave you rested and smiling.

Helpful friendly staff. I saved a ton of cash on their zoo package (basically got 4 zoo tickets for $30. ) Close to lots of stuff to do, nice views and balconys with the rooms. Pool could have been cleaner, quite a bit of stuff floating around and all around the edges was dirty. Rooms were clean though, comfortable beds. Restaraunt has decent food but is over priced with POOR service.

Generally nice hotel and most of the staff were friendly. The room service was terrible. The person who cleaned the room did not even make an effort to make the bed! The indent in the pillows from where we had slept was still there. The best place about the hotel is the spa. I go there regularly to get massages and the service there is top notch.

For the price, the lunch had a good value.

The staff was pleasant and professional and the hotel was clean and had a pleasing appearance and decor. The food in the restaurant was very good and the complimentary morning buffet that came with it room was awesome. I can notfind anything that didn't please me during our stay.

The room was pretty decent and so were the rest of the amenities. The only significant issue I had was that sound from out in the hall carries quite a bit. We were on the first floor and when the bar closed for the night there was a lot of yelling and doors slamming that woke us up.

Another great stay for our family. This hotel just keeps getting better and better. Staff is friendly and very helpful. We had 2 service issues in our room fixed within minutes of reporting them. Beds, furniture, bathroom were very clean. The old restaurant wasn't bad, but the addition of Ric's Grill is a home run. I travel a lot, and live in hotels across North America. FPS Calgary west will be my choice every time I travel to Calgary.

My husband and I had originally booked the Calgary Zoo for our wedding, however due to the Alberta flood we had to book elsewhere. After looking at a few locations we decided on the beautiful Four Points by Sheraton Calgary West. We were in a huge rush due to the 3 week turnaround that we had to relocate our wedding. The Four Points by Sheraton Calgary West was very accommodating with everything and met all our needs and plans we had set originally with the Calgary Zoo plus more! Our wedding was perfect and the staff was wonderful. We booked the honeymoon suite and it blew our minds, just amazing! Our wedding guests had a blast and loved the queen suites they stayed in. My younger sister (11 yrs old) loved the pool and water slide. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Everything was perfect! Big thank you to the staff! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, whether it be an overnight stay, wedding / event booking or week long visit to Calgary.

The staff was so, so friendly and helpful. Our original vacation was ruined by the Alberta floods in June 2013, and since we weren't familiar at all with the area, we just decided it was best to stay here, even though we thought it would be pricey. It turned out to be an excellent price and an excellent experience. The hotel was very lenient and allowed us to check in early and leave late the next day because we needed to get out of Calgary before we were stranded. The water slide in the pool area is AMAZING! If I ever come to Calgary again, I would stay here for sure. As Calgary evacuates several neighborhoods and downtown, I can only imagine the hotel is taking in refugees, and they allowed housekeeping to leave work and seek refuge with their families.

Updated rooms and a new Ric's Grill makes it a great stay.
