Great hotel and staff in Siem Reap! We spent 4 nights in this hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. The room was big, clean and comfy, with a safe, kettle with complimentary tea, coffee and water and also with a very nice balcony facing the swimming pool. The toilet was also super cool, with a massive bathtub (hot water in the bathtub did not seem to work well, though). Since we stayed 4 nights they picked us up at the airport for free and we had a complimentary dinner (nothing spectacular, but free! ). Breakfasts we also very nice, with a big selection of egg-based dishes (omelette, scrambled eggs, etc. ), Pankakes and French toasts. We would have given a 5 star, but the hotel's tuc-tuc driver experience was not so great. He came to pick us up at the airport and was very friendly. On our first day we had already booked a bike tour with another company, so we didn't hire him. When we arrived in the hotel after our bike tour the tuc-tuc driver was there kinda pushy. He offered to take us the next day for the "big tour" in the Angkor temples for 19$. Our bike guide told us the big tour was 17$, but we thought 19$ was ok, so we told him yes. On the next day we asked him to take us to the Benteay temple, which was quite far and he said it was 25$. We thought it was ok, since the driving there took like 1h. But then, on the third day, when we told him to take us to the normal "big tour" he wanted 22$ instead of 19$, as he had told us.
Good rooms and service. Helpful staff and the on site restaurant was pretty good too. Pool did not look too good, though.
