We stayed at this delightful hotel, impressed us, besides the careful décor of the rooms, the courtesy and availability of the owners, we were recommended both for the trips and for the places to eat, and we were always very Satisfied. What we were looking for, a quiet place nestled in the greenery, with pool just a short distance from the center.

This property is pure bliss. From the moment you step off the busy street and through the gates, the experience at Maison 557 is special, and something that few other places get right. Pam was a fountain of useful local information, welcoming me in with a cold beer and plenty of conversation. The room that I stayed in was lovely and large, beautifully decorated with local arts & crafts and a gorgeous outdoor shower! Breakfast is a feast, and the pool is the perfect escape after a busy morning exploring the nearby temples. The team here go above and beyond for their guests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place if you are looking for something special in Siem Reap.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, spacious room/bathroom, quiet and private boutique hotel, pool is beautiful and sits in a lush tropical setting, very helpful introduction to the local area sights, restaurants, and shopping.

This was my wife's and my first trip to Siem Reap, and we discovered this delightful place while doing research on where to stay. Ultimately we decided on the villa, and our experience was great from the moment we stepped into the property! We are very happy with the hospitality, level of service, and enthusiasm that Pam and her team had demonstrated throughout. The location was fantastic, given that it was only a stone's throw away from pub street and the other markets. Yet, the place was pretty quiet and peaceful, like an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Our room was big and comfortable, with nice toiletries (except for toothpaste and toothbrush). I've previously read some reviews that mentioned the rooms don't have a mini fridge, but there is one in our room at least. If it's the case that all the rooms now have mini fridges in them, then props goes to the team for listening and acting on feedback! All in all, everything was awesome, and we highly recommend this place!

My family of 4 stayed at Maison557 for 5 nights. It was everything that we hoped it would be. Great location close to everything. Pam and the team are so welcoming and caring we were really made to feel at home. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Rooms were large, comfortable And spotlessly clean. Pam knew everything about everything. She could not have been more helpful. I can highly recommend Maison557.

This place is wonderful. From the warm welcome right at the gate as we arrived from the airport, to the quality of the room, the location, and the priceless tips to organize all our day trips, everything was perfect. Kudos for the no plastic policy (free water refill)

Loved loved loved this place! Pam was an amazing host. Very helpful and the place is amazingly quaint. Walking distance to the centre of town, you don’t get the hustle and bustle and still have plenty of nice places to eat around.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff. The garden view room is next to the road and can be noisey.

We loved Maison 557! A real sense of home away from home. Great location, walking distance to all the markets, Pub Street and local Temple. Pam and her team were amazing, such a warm welcome, so friendly, full of local knowledge and what a lovely touch a beverage of choice on arrival! Rooms very spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. Great selection for breakfast, jam/ fresh breads & pastries/eggs/ muesli! Highly recommend Maison 557 — a hidden gem!

Perfect place to stay in Siem Reap. Unbelievably helpful and caring staff. My flight home was a late one and they offered all the amenities (pool, lounge, shower etc) without me asking. All the staff definitely genuinely care about their customers. The hotel is situated at the perfect location in Siem Reap. 5 minutes walk to pub street, old market and several great cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended this affordable great place to anyone visiting Siem Reap.

This was a stunning place with amazing people! The stay was was superb. The breakfast is set outside your room overlooking the garden and our pool (we stayed in the Villa Suite which has a private pool) was stunning. The morning packed breakfasts to send us off on our adventures were generous and yummy. Overall an amazing stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Denise and the rest of the staff at Maison 557 made Cambodia our favorite stop on our 16 day adventure across Southeast Asia. We even tried to change our flight to stay an extra day. The environment and rooms here are out of this world gorgeous! The hotel is literally blocks from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap yet you feel as if you are tucked away in a private oasis whenever you go back to your room. Denise genuinely saved our trip to Cambodia. We were unfortunately scammed by our tuk tuk driver from the airport into booking a sunrise visit and tour of the temples the morning after our arrival. Once we shared this information with Denise, she helped us cancel those plans and book a tour guide and driver that fit our schedule and for a much cheaper price. Denise was available at all times of the day to answer any questions we had and share her opinion on different experiences during our short stay. The day of our temple tours, we were supposed to check out but since there were no guests coming in to fill our room, she let us stay until we had to leave for our 8pm flight. This was huge because it meant we could come back from our long tours to shower, nap and explore more of Siem Reap without having to worry about our luggage or checking out at a specific time. We look forward to returning to Maison 557 and recommend it as the best hotel experience we have ever had!

A perfect place for a feeling at home stay. Denise is such a nice person, welcoming and helpful as well as her team. We really enjoyed Maison 557 for it is quiet and very well located to discover Siem Reap. If you are a French speaking guest, please also ask for Sothavy as a guide. She is talented, smart and highly precious to wander in the royal city of Angkor. Can’t wait to come back.

Tucked away from the bustling street of Siem Reap is this family run hotel. When we arrived, we were greeted by the host, who was very friendly. She explained all we needed to know about the place (hotel facilities, breakfast, Tuk Tuk booking, etc). The room (room C) was clean and tidy, and very spacious too. No traffic noise can be heard from our room. Mosquito net was provided, we didn't get any bites during out sleep. Breakfast started at 7am. It consists of bread, tea or coffee, juice, fresh fruits, oats, and egg of your choice. The breakfast can also be packed to go should you wish to catch sunrise at 6am. Just be aware that the hotel accepts cash (USD) only, or you could pay in advance via PayPal. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to other visitors.

Nothing less than a perfect little spot in Siem Reap. The service is absolutely fantastic. Denise and the staff deserve the best possible ratings.

All the glowing reviews you read online about this place is true. The level of service, care and commitment is simply amazing. 1. They made special arrangements so that I could have my cup of tea before bedtime even though their pantry closes at 7pm. 2. They made our Tuk Tuk driver go back to get our breakfast while we were already at Angkor Wat for the Sunrise tour because we had left earlier without bringing it along. 3. When I had problems using one of my US$100 note because it was worn out, the staff arranged for it to be exchanged and gave me the official receipt from the money changer reflecting the small service fee incurred. I would definitely stay at Maison557 the next time I am in Siem Reap.

A fantastic bed-and-breakfast style hotel/house that hits all the right points: stylish, quaint, romantic, traditional, comfortable, convenient. Bypass the shopping-mall sized hotels out on the highway and try this place instead.

The hotel is located on the river is relatively quiet then, but not in bar street in between), but still can reach on foot to all the restaurants and the coffee shop. If you don't like to walk, tutu, car, safety, cheap, good. The owner of the hotel, Ali, greeted us as we discuss travel plans, and help us to find some additional activities, and she also recommended a restaurant and a café. Other staff (kitchen help, traffic Coordinator, or night guards) are very friendly and happy to help. Drinks (Mango juice, coffee, tea) throughout the day. Breakfast is great — eggs, fresh croissants/bread (the bread shop every morning for delivery), and yogurt/oatmeal, fruit and juice/coffee/tea. The room was spacious, decorated beautifully, and clean. The air conditioning was very shady.

Best bed and breakfast in town for a reason. Simple, quiet, excellent service, perfect location. Your home away from home.

While planning my trip to Cambodia, a friend had suggested Maisan 557 to us, and her exact words were 'if you are looking for a place to stay in Siem Reap, please dont look elsewhere '. Well, she was right! Me & my husband stayed at Maisan for 2 nights in Feb'15, and we absolutely loved our stay there. We stayed at the Loft villa (not sure if thats the name, the one where you need to climb a staircase to reach), and the way the room was decorated was lovely — It was simple, very clean and looked very stylish and posh with the decoration! The staircase is quite difficult to climb if you have elderly people in the group, thus would suggest going for the other rooms downstairs, but if you are young/fit/enthusiastic its a lovely room and quite secluded too. The owner of the place Jeff is a great guy and he gives a personalized touch to the service you get there. And more than anything else, the feeling of getting a personalized service made our stay all the more special. He is very helpful — would help you plan your trips, would give you his opinion on what is worth doing & whats not (& trust me, speaking from personal experience, he knows what he is suggesting), and he would put in every bit of effort to make you feel at home. Given his depth of knowledge on travel in general & ofcourse about Cambodia, he would even suggest you on the rest of your trip if you ask him to. The balcony where breakfast is served is beautiful and we spent hours just sitting there.

Beautiful Maison! We enjoyed very much our stay in it. Jeff, the owner, was great and very helpfull. The staff is very kind too. The hotel is very quiet, relaxing and comfortable, very clean and just 5/10 minutes from downtown. The decoration is what we loved the most! Full of nice details. If we come back to Cambodia, we will surely stay in Maison 557 again!
