The best choice in Pailin.

I simply cannot recommend this place in good faith. I am writing this while I am still in the hotel. This is supposed to be an 'eco-friendly' place but the way they treat nature and the animals around here is absolutelty disgusting. There are tiny kittens that are skinnier than any I have seen before, truly only skin and bone and it doesn't seem to bother any of the staff members. But this is nothing compared to what I witnessed coming out of the restaurant restrooms… As I was leaving the toilets I saw a man come from the kitchen and put some food on the ground for the geese, which came to eat it (obviously), upon which he decided to hit one of them on the head with a metal bowl (looked like a food bowl or something). The goose dropped to the floor. I screamed "NO" in shock and he laughed at me as if it was fun for him. I REGRET giving them any of my money and I would've tipped them if they wouldn't have treated the animals with such disrespect. As I mentioned, this is supposed to be eco-friendly but nothing about the staff's animal treatment was 'eco' nor 'friendly'. DO NOT come here if you like animals or if you are a good person, they don't deserve your money.

Good place to stay with very nice landscape, green, clean, and peaceful. Staffs are friedly. Strongly recommed for personal, family or group visit/ stay.

Except for the little critters in the room, due to the location of the resort, it's actually a very nice and quiet place to rest at. To be honest, the entrance was rather frightening. You can easily navigate your way to the resort via Google Maps, but actually driving there from the city center was a little intimidating. It could do with some more signs out on the bigger roads to point to it though. Same with the reception area: lovely reception area, but a little confusing to find, upon entering past the gate. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. And looking at the pricing, it isn't too bad (if they kept the place looking as it was set up to be). The standard 2 single beds bedroom costed us $40. But for the spacious room, separate shower from toilet, big closet, and peace and quiet — it was worth it. However, the landscaping could use a lot more improvement, as it looks disorganized and feels very cluttered when you're walking to your room. The rooms are so open, and the long glass windows and door at the end of the room provide enough natural lighting inside for such a comfortable & calming environment. There are some things that can be improved upon (like changing the pillow cases for un-stained ones, and making sure the mini fridge's plug has the right adapter for the socket in the wall, clean up the mess under their sinks, and get rid of the insects in their bathroom).

I love to stay this resort, Peaceful and silent. Getting fresh and nice environment.

It is a wonderful place, quiet in the middle of nature and so well decorated with representations of Buddha, Apsaras, traditional musical instruments, tree trunks transformed into support for other plants and branches recovered from the strangely shaped forest that supports light fixtures, tires that welcome up-and-coming plants, magnific trees and plants with incredibly beautiful flowers, modern and simple cottages. Both offering great comfort and intimacy much appreciated A huge pool in the middle of the greenery.
The staff never ceases to want to fulfill your desires and make you happy The cook is a blue cord. It's far but it's worth the trip, a little paradise away from the hustle and bustle, it feels good and it's even necessary.

Amazing place, great to discover a non touristic place and the wildness of Cambodia. Great accommodation, friendly staff and tasty food. Lovely place.

Please be careful with this owner of this resort, I would need Mr. Long Panhavuth n his Mrs to come out n face to face to pay my money back. Excellent place, really nice people, the food is amazing and overall you will have a great time as you get to see the Wild Cambodia, not just the Cambodian Tourist route.

Memoria Palace & Resort is the closest thing I have experienced to a real life Garden of Eden! A secluded and utopian eco-paradise nestled away in the hills of Pailin and totally unknown to tourists, this resort boasts some of the most relaxing and meditative natural spaces I've ever experienced, whilst still maintaining the high comfort and service levels expected of an international hotel.

When you go there don't forget go to jingjok leke, lok yeay yat mountain and waterfall one more thing the food at resort so delicious and the resort owner guide us to the plantation.

Nice resort set on side of a hill and in original jungle. View is amazing. The place is so tranquil, peaceful and relax. It has also a big pool on the hillside. The room is large with big windows for best view. The best resort currently at Pailin. Great for a few day retreat and exploring surrounding historical site.

Nice hideaway, the best pick in Pailin. Deluxe rooms were very nice, open, airy, tasteful. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was top notch, especially the roast chicken! Recommended and definitely returning!

Memorial palace resort is truly the best experience of my life the staff was friendly and I have learned many new things about the cambodian culture by staying here. The sights are truly breathtaking while staying there I felt I got a chance to get a way from the noisey traffic of phonm phen. And got to know the true nature that the kingdom of wonders has to offer the food was also great it was a mixture of traditional and modern cambodian food.

A resort that Good for staying and camping.

Was here for a couple of nights before a bike trip down to Koh Kong, great place, rooms were clean and comfortable, good bar and restaurant and theres lots to see in the surrounding area. Plus they got a great pool which is perfect for relaxing after a day trekking out in the jungle. Great place and handy getting across to Thailand too.

We were on our way to Thailand through Battambang when the recent coup took place and a friendly expat suggested we take a trip up here for a few days while waiting to see if things settled. Unfortunately they dont seem to have but I have to say the detour was well worth it. Its a lovely resort set amongst a real rural mountainous part of Cambodia, and the scenery is absolutely fantastic. We trekked for a few hours out to some wonderful waterfalls and while it was hot it was actually cooler than Phnom Penh. The resort itself is surprisingly well equipped and the rooms are very modern and cool. The restauraunt is excellent and Wi-Fi was quite good considering the location. Definietely worth a visit.

Stayed here couple of weeks ago while I was traveling from Bangkok to Phnom Penh. Friend recommended I try the Pailin border crossing as the Poipet one is a pain due to all the scammers and hecklers, was good advice, hassle free crossing and the time is the same bar the stayover. Resort itself is very nice, big clean rooms with modern fittings and bathrooms, comfortable beds and clean sheets. The surrounding countrysides the real star though, nothing like the rest of Cambodia, trekked out to waterfalls in the mountain, fantastic scenery. Was booked in for a night and ended up staying for 3, would have stayed more but the whole resort was booked out by the Bill Gates foundation. Only complaint i'd have would be Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss, couldnt pick it up in some places but I guess thats to be expected in this location. Definitly be coming back again.
