The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the best of the hotel, without a doubt. It has a very comfortable terrace, a good view of the city, from there you can see the Christ. As for breakfast, very rich, but every day the same thing, they do not vary in meals, or if they did it was very little. But we put 2 stars for the bad and lousy attention of the person who receptionistus us (there were 3 people who rotated at the reception, 1 of them is a Lady already Great, that person I mean, the other 2 people very attentive and friendly), bad predisposition on the lady's part, at the time of entering the hotel, very badly, did not answer our greeting in the morning, and on one occasion lacking soap in the room, asked the lady for the replacement and indicated that the hotel had no more soaps, that I should go to buy one (yes I know it is a simple soap, but the bad answer that I get, I do not think right that answer, a great hotel like this does not posit that? ). The Lady Major did not move to resolve these issues, so we went to another hotel manager, at another time and fixed it at the time. Also the Wi-Fi is very mediocre, no signal was had in the room. Beyond the bad vibe of the Lady Maggiore, the hotel is very good.

The good: The rooms look nice. The shower is awesome. The roof had an awesome view, a pool and a sauna. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and an abundance of places to eat. There’s a supermarket and pharmacy right around the corner. The bad: The walls are VERY thin. So thin we could hear our neighbors turning their showers off and on, talking, their TV. Etc… If you’re a light sleeper, like me, I would highly suggest another place. The majority of the staff are unpleasant. Examples: One night my wife called the front desk because at 11PM our neighbors were blowing whistles. The same night at 1AM the upstairs room was moving their beds, so the sound of wood scraping on wood was echoing in our room. I called the front desk to see if they could call the room above us. My exact words were “could you please call the room above us and ask them to stop moving furniture, it’s keeping me from falling asleep. ” The front desk clerk started YELLING at me so loudly that it woke my wife up. He accused my wife of lying earlier when she called about the whistles and refused to do anything about the upstairs room making noise. A few days later we were at the beach with a friend, and told him he could come back to the hotel so we could order some pizza and get ready for our next stop. The manager refused to let our friend come upstairs with us. Our friend is a geeky physicist from Luxembourg.

Amazing place to stay for a short or long period. This place is near beach… Just a few steps. They have Wi-Fi and works properly.

Very good overall, sound problem in the room that touched us (all the noises and voices of adjoining rooms were heard; especially in the bathroom! ). Nice staff mostly.

The hotel is well located. They have good attention although two days I was with hot water problems. They have nice views of the rooms and above all the terrace that allows to see a little the city and above the emblematic Christ. It is located near the Rio Beach, at 200 mts. Good experience in the hotel.

Incredibly noisy in wall air conditioner that they didn't do anything about. So loud we had to turn it off and sleep in the heat. If there are other hotel options, choose them. Good breakfast, OK location — — but less safe neighborhood than hotels closer to or in Ipanema.

Very good attention the one we received! Only that it lacks an important thing for the Argentinian tourist, try to guide better for when one has to go out for a walk, bone recommend better on transport by means of leaflets and walks in the city! I would love them to know better to advise the tourist of another country. And another, we stayed for a week and never changed the sheets.! Something to watch! Everything else is fine. Very grateful!

Cleanliness: Nothing to report the rooms very clean the surrounding area of the pool also location: only 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach Breakfast: good but without more. Every day the same thing Wifi: good connectivity available everywhere even at the edge of the pool staff: overall little smiling and little rider. Jaded limit for some.
Amenities: The pool is small for the 12 floors.
Restoration: Ratio Quantity-price very good Attention this is not clearly indicated but the minibar is paying even the waters.
Air Conditioning Very noisy.

O hotel tem um excelente custo benefício. Não é novo mas também não é antigo o que permite um preço justo e quartos muito bons, além de de enormes. Há TV a cabo com canais de filmes. TVs de última geração. O chuveiro é excelente. O café da manhã tb é muito bem feito. Os recepcionistas muito educados e prestativos. A localização do hotel também é das melhores. Apenas dois quarteirões da praia de Copacabana, no meio do caminho caminho entre o leme e Ipanema. Há muitas lojas e conveniências por perto.

Lovely hotel to finish our trip with 4 of us in one room for 2 nights followed by 3 of us in separate room.
Breakfast, shower (hot and pressured) plus good Wi-Fi so very enjoyable. Hotel very full but strongly recommended. Diego and Ana in reception very polite and helpful e. G. Allowed us to move rooms for 3rd day with no hassle.

Good location Hotel old but cute…

The quality of the hotel is very good. A street on the beach. Many bars, restaurants and shops nearby.
Very efficient and professional reception staff. Due to a very early arrival, it was proposed to take the suite room (with small surcharge, but breakfast offered). At the check out I was able to keep my room a little longer, at no cost.
Breakfast buffet (included) correct, wide hours, always well stocked, but less choice than in other hotels of the same category in Copacabana.
Spacious rooms, but no charm. No decorations. Are starting to get dilapidated, including the bathroom (Italian shower). Good bedding. Very old and noisy Air conditioner. No bottles of courtesy water. Average cleanliness: Hair in the shower, trash can not emptied every day.
Disastrous Wi-Fi connection in my room. Reported several times, in vain.
Use this hotel if you get a reasonable price, and if there is not an imperative need for Wi-Fi in the rooms.

It’s beautiful beach especially during sunrise. Wake up early and be at the beach at around 5:15 am until 6:30 am, you will be amazed with the magnificent sunrise view in Copacabana. If you want to spend the day (for sun bath) at the beach, make sure to bargain before renting umbrella or chair, the fair price should not cost you more than $150.00 Per umbrella / per chair. Though there are lot of option to eat (you will find a lot of people offering food with different price) there’s a nice tapioca seller across the street (in front or close to Copacabana Hotel) the tapioca food selection (sweet or savory) will cost you $500.00Per items but the food is delicious and reasonable.

Nice localization, just few steps from Copacabana Beach. They have a very good breakfast with tropical fruits and several kind of breads, juices. The rooms are clean and so big.

The hotel isn't top standards but the staff is friendly and it reflects in a fair price. There is free Wi-Fi and the breakfast has something for everyone. Just their coffee is a joke and the air-conditioner is a little noicy.
