Nice and clean rooms. Had a great view of the ocean. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. They called me by my name everytime I walked in or out of the resort.

Perfect central location, very clean, and friendly staff! All rooms are ocean facing which not only provides a view, but also a quiet ambiance when sipping a drink on your deck! Room had AC, but not really needed given a nice ocean breeze blows day and night. Kitchenette was ideal for making breakfast and snacks (especially given multiple stores are under 5 mins walk away). Recommended!

Perfect views, very clean and such friendly staff. This hotel is directly on the beach but also right in the town of San Pedro. You can walk to anything and everything you need. If you are thinking of staying at one of the newer hotels further down the island reconsider and stay at the Mayan Princess! This was one of the first hotels on the island so it is nice to feel like a part of san pedro's history when staying there — although they are always upgrading things, this is an older hotel and some of the rooms are still a little outdated. However, the service, location and price make up for it. I would say that the only draw back is that there is no pool, but there is a brand new dock and the hotel is just steps away from the palapa bar which is also a must-visit because it has inner-tubes and a sandy, almost pool-like bottom. Also they will bring a hammock to you for your balcony if you ask!

Beautiful 3rd-floor view with a balcony. Made use of the hammock and lounge-chair pads they offered. The staff was very helpful. The suite was very ample with a large bathroom, kitchen, and living quarters.

Having never been to Belize before, it was tough to decide where to stay. After researching the area, we chose the Mayan because of how much nicer the rooms looked in relation to some of the others in the area/price range. The Mayan did not disappoint! The room was large, had everything you needed, comfortable bed, great A/C, and great view from the balcony. The staff made the stay that much better! They were out of ice, but delivered a bad to our room before we left for the day, which I thought was above and beyond. It would be 5 star, except for the fact that you don't have much privacy to sit on the beach chairs much past 2pm. The locals take the beach and pier over, and unless you grab a beach chair early, no chance on getting a chair. This is the only negative. We would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it!

Right in the heart of San Pedro where you'll want to be. Outstanding service, incredible views. Walking distance to servant great scuba diving outfits.

It's La Isla Bonita Paradise Beautiful.

My second day here with three more to go and life is Good … The room is immaculate and quiet even though loud music prevails at night along the main drag where only golf carts are driven … Once you pass through the french doors onto your balcony and have a seat with your feet up, one immediately starts daydreaming about retiring here … I'm already asking when special events and Holidays are on Ambergris Caye so I can plan my next visit … Location, view, price and hospitality all right here at The Mayan Princess …

I always stay there on my visit to the island. I highly recommend it to any one, family & couples It's location is so convenient to everything on the island. And the view of the beach is breathtaking ❤️

The staff treated us wonderfully. They helped us with so many things and made our vacation hassle free. We would highly recommend staying there!
