Been coming to the Hotel for over 10 years and feels like a second home.
Excellent place to stay in Ypres.
The Hotel is clean and friendly with beautiful new rooms.
The staff are friendly and polite. The restaurant and its food are excellent too.

Friendly, helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, comfortable beds, great shower, everywhere smart and clean… and fabulous breakfast with lots of choice (including vegan friendly) Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful hotel! I would definitely stay again! The breakfast was amazing too! They have everything bacon, eggs, smoked salmon, bread, pastries. You name it they’ve got it Lovely staff also :) Sat outside in the beer garden on the last night which was lovely also. All drinks come with a little dish of snacks too. Which I think is lovely. Thanks will definitely be returning.

Stayed here very recently, reception staff very attentive, restaurant and bar staff the same. Had a lovely room, bed linen was just lovely! Restaurant and bar had a good atmosphere, good food and very clean every where. Would definitely recommend. Parking on site which is a bonus and walkable to the town where there were also interesting places to see.
Would certainly revisit here.

I have been staying here for many years. The Rooms, Restaurant, Terrace are lovely. Good Parking facilities and only minutes from the Town Centrum The best Hotel in Belgium for my money!

Third time of staying here. When we visit ypres we don't stay anywhere else. Good room good food and close to everything.

Very nice place for a high quality snack or meal. The coffee is super good and is served with some cake. It isn't the cheapest place, but it's definitely worth the money.

It may be a 4 Star Hotel, but it earns 5 stars from me! You won’t find a better hotel in Ieper. It has the best service, comfortable beds, and very clean and spacious rooms. It is one of the top restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Decorated WWI memorabilia is elegantly placed throughout the hotel, making it a mini-museum. The grounds are well maintained and landscaped.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast was lovely, staff friendly. Didn't have time to try the restaurant, but it looked fab. I recommend this place.

Very elegant hotel. Great reception, food, service and museum inside. I have stayed here couple of times and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are neat and smell great of lemongrass. This hotel serves amazing selection of Belgium beers and food. Every dish is masterfully crafted and served. Just before the main or starter you get a surprise taster from the chef, which in my opinion is the best thing about the whole experience. Recommend very much just don't get too drunk to not enjoy breakfast. Speaking about breakfast — freshly made pastries!

Well let’s see.
It used to be a magnificent hotel with lovely staff and loads of kindness. However. The current owners have got far too big for their own boots. Staff are as ever lovely and hugely loyal which is a shame as if they told the truth then the owners would be out in an instant. … Tonight my 89 year old dad ordered two 500 ml beers and for some reason we ended up with two but two were then brought in. We declined but rather than have them wasted and the hotel lose out we said we’d have them and put them on the bill. We couldn’t have it I then received a load of verbal abuse from Natasha the owner. My father was appalled at her tirade of abuse. Then she took the alcohol awY and said we couldn’t have alcohol. I am not drunk neither is he. He is 89 and is a bit confused. Then she tells dad I’ve been rude to the staff. But all the staff state they don’t know what her problem is and that I’ve not been rude. Avoid this place at all costs. Once upon a time it was lovely. Now it isn’t. The staff are brilliant but clearly the senior management have issues with people who know how things should be. I remember when the customer was right. Not at this shit hole their not.

Lovely Hotel, large car park spaces, though car park can fill up as the day passes, all staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, food in the restaurant was very nice and worth the extra expense. Room was very nice, clean and fresh smelling. Ideally situated to walk in to Town Centre of Ypres and even the town ramparts ending at the Menin Gate, 20 mins walk from there back to hotel! We used it as a base to visit WW1 sites and was an excellent base for this!
My wife and I are already discussing when we can go back!

Nice hotel and good location. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms large and well equipped despite the lack of ventilation. Great breakfast and welcome to the top!

Excellent, very modern hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and plenty of it. In a quiet location but within a short walk to the town centre, about 10 minutes from the Menin gate. Definitely recommended.

A well operated hotel such as this establishment is very hard to find. From the welcome you receive on arrival and the polite and extremely efficient top quality service you are given throughout your stay is superb. This is our 16th year staying at The Ariane with the 'A' team and I am already looking forward to 2019. The restaurant is elegant and the food exquisite. Great hotel and staff. The bar has great service and I really enjoyed the mini museum and library. Great location too.

The architecture is amazing, the restaurant incredible. Perfect location, fantastic service. There is also a museum In the hotel which is really interesting on the WW In the evening it is sooo nice to sit down and enjoy a drink by the 360 fireplace. I would recommend it, absolutely. Can't wait to come back!

My parents and I stayed at the Ariane for years. It's a magical place, and really it's all about the people. The staff are wonderful. (Did I mention the food?! ) My parents' names now live forever on a bench in the garden. My friends and I will return every every year.

This is the best hotel in Belgium. Real good free breakfasts, bar is incredible, even the bar food are good. Bicycle rental, near by WWI museum, lots to see here. When you are here, all for the best beer in the world.

The hotel is situated within a short walk for the centre of Ypres. Great rooms and service plus a fab restaurant and bar which is modern and fresh. Great food and breakfast is absolutely perfect which offers a great choice of food. Small WW1 museum collection in lobby for the WW1 tourist and interesting artifacts.

Nice rooms where everything has been thought of. Great breakfast. Good little quirky WW1 museum on the ground floor. Walkable in 10 mins from town centre. Free parking for guests. Nice pillows.

Fantastic hotel in ypres Belgium great food fantastic service.

It was a very nice Hotel in its architecture, not very warm, not cosy, and too modern, no cachet.
But we were cold, very very cold, all evening and all night and the next morning, it is sorely lacking an electric heating in the room.
The ventilation blew from the icy air, for this price and this type of hotel is unacceptable, incomprehensible… it is necessary to place an electric wall heating or to repair effectively and in the long term this ventilation heating system.
On the other hand we ate well, very well eaten, it was excellent from start to finish.
Breakfast very good also the staff very decent and helpful so I am obliged to put 3 stars because it was so cold that now we are sick, bronchitis and sinusitis.

Great Kitchen! Warm!

Ideal Hotel to explore Ypres and the surrounding region. The staff were very friendly and helpful both in reception and the bar and restaurant. In reception there is a very interesting and informative display about the Great War. Rooms vere large and very comfortable. They have an iron, a Nespresso machine and sockets at bedside. We had an excellent buffet breakfast with a wide variety of food. As vegetarians, we had plenty of choice. The bar is well stocked and reasonably priced including a good selection of Trappist beers. Finally, There is also a nice outdoor terrace. We will definitely return.

The hotel was fantastic, the rooms were so large and very clean. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. So good we are going back there for our honeymoon.

Excellent location in the heart of Ypres. Fantastic restaurant. Rooms comfortable and well furnished and climate control. But the best thing is the fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for us. Also speak a number of languages.

Fabulous hotel, the best in Ieper, great location and easy to access as on the edge of the one way central street pattern. Great service and the food is lovely. The welcome as you arrive is always friendly and pleasant.

Excellent — Friendly staff, clean modern rooms, excellent breakfast, bar and restaurant. Easy to park and very centrally placed in Ypres. About 10 minutes walk from the Menein Gate. Could not fault my stay. Cost about £80 a night.

I was very disappointed by my stay the night of Friday May 7th. The room was dreary with an over-large bath and temperamental shower. When I pay £124.00 for a room I do not expect to find there is a plastic sheet on the bed. The breakfast lacked any kind of finesse and the croissants were the worst I have encountered. Nevertheless, the bowls of soup we had in the bar were of an acceptable standard. Whilst I have stayed in many hotels, some no better than the Ariane, you should be providing a far better service for the price that you are charging. Janet St Maur Sheil.
