Lovely tea room nice decoration calm music. Cofee and waffles are well served. Definitely to try.

I came for breakfast, they have a good variety for breakfast, I personally loved the omelet with the mayo they serve, for those that have not tried good mayo in their life Belgium is the place to try. I haven tried much food in Brugges but I can say this place is good enough that it wont disappoint you. Yes the owners are a little dry perhaps they are understaffed but I think it is the culture or their personality. I rather have someone be who they are, rather than being fake, besides it didn’t affect the quality of the food.

My first review in Europe and I am typically loathe to give a bad review. A friend and I ordered coffee and tea at 11am before going on a walking tour. When we askedto pay for our bill early because we only had about 10 minutes to spare, we were charged 2Eur over the price on the menu. After mentioning some sort of extra charge that I reluctantly agreed to to pay, he brought back our credit card with an additional charge of 1 Eur. When I complained about yet another hidden charge, he angrily grabbed our coffee and tea that we had not even started to consume and kicked us out. We were shocked hence the unfavourable review. Update: I just confirmed that my friend’s card was actually charged 3Eur more than the price on the menu despite not authorizing him to charge us and despite him not even letting us consume the coffee and tea.

Food is well made and presented. Was a pleasant random find on a rainy night in Brugge.

Great waffles, good service and they take cards (which is unusual for Bruges).

Very rude staff. The owner is even worse. Not a welcome, not a good table (just in front of the vestiaire in an almost-empty restaurant. The first time they talk to us is for saying that the drinks are not included in the Wonderbox. The menu is imposed with our Wonderbox contrary to what is desribed on the Wonderbox website and the waiter only tell us 1 opening & 1 dish. After asking again they suggested us a few other choices for the opening but forced us to take the unique dish. The owner even allowed herself to make inappropriate remark to us for not eating the appetizer. After all this we decided to leave before the main dish that was imposed to us to not waste it & because we didn't want to suffer this catastrophic service. We told the waiter that the reason was the service & the owner's attitude. He replied to us "It's the owner, can't do anything"… I felt that they were rude to us because we had a Wonderbox (why do they partner with them then? ) or/and because we didn't talk Dutch. I came to this conclusion after seeing other dutch tables being warm welcomed, very cared while another non-dutch speaking table was leaving after a few minutes because the staff was rude. Also a french-speaking family wanted to come in for a drink and they just pushed them back to the street telling them to go anywhere else.

I really like the decor in this tea room. Stylish, elegant, good atmosphere. Toilets are super clean. The coffee I'd a bit to mild for my taste but well served with a mini chocolate. Service is fast. Recommends for a quick stop.

Nice settings, very good service, but horrible food! We were greeted by flies and Mosquitos who drank my beer! Yes it flew into my glass of beer, I m so mad! We bitten into sands in the mussels and the lamp chop was cooked medium rare while I have ordered medium. The frites taste like McDonalds, I expected much more than this. The pasta is good.

The nicest staff ever! So helpful and funny. Totally recommended.

Have just had an excellent stay at the Verdi. My room was huge, my bed was comfy and the restaurant had the most amazing food. Way better than the food in the square and better quality. Definitely recommend visiting.

We went here for breakfast. The ambience is great when considering it is barok-like in style. The breakfast menu was a bit simple compared to the price, but we have to take in account that we were also paying for the location.
