Sand d'O is a real scam but by no means a "luxury" bed and breakfast. How can one claim high-end by welcoming its guests in dirty work pants, leaving hanging beside the porch of broken and dirty furniture, abandoned there for a long time? To complete the first outdoor impression, the garden has not been maintained for several months. Once inside, the doormat would benefit from being clean. The common areas resemble my grandmother's living room, neither the bedroom nor the bathroom were heated when we arrived.
We have been to a lot of B-B in Belgium and France and have always achieved a much better performance in this price range. After a few minutes on site, we decided to leave because the 175 euros requested did not correspond at all to what was offered. The owner just told us that it would be charged anyway, to make us understand that it was not negotiable. Despite an official request for cancellation at Booking, the owner has remained on his position to this day, and we have been charged the room amount.
Know, therefore, that you book a service, without any concern for customer satisfaction. Happy or not, room occupied or not, it will be charged and we will find another pigeon for the next time …
