2nd time here and as usual front desk staff superb. Given a choice of rooms breakfast good. Rooms clean tidy and quiet just what we needed.

Very nice and simple — perfect for an active trip! Staff are friendly and welcoming from the moment of arrival. Only slight criticism with the temperature — as we were in Brussels during a very hot period if was sometimes uncomfortable in the room at night, despite having been provided with a fan. Love the lift (adds character)

I am a frequent traveler and usually to 3-star hotels (check my other reviews, which are mostly 4/5 and 5/5). This should NOT be a 3-star hotel at all and probably many positive reviews are fake. The hotel and its rooms are incredibly old, tiles and wallpaper are torn off, my door has holes on it, there is no air conditioning (my family and me are sweating), and of course no safe, mini-bar… My room is 15m2 (being generous), and the faucet is next to my bed!

Simple little hotel, excellent location, very close to an indian food restaurant that can accomodate vegans and vegetarians. It saved my life. The personal is great, but they keep low profile. Loved it a lot and I sure would return.

Good hotel. The only thing is that the doors are not isolated and you can hear people walk and talk clearly in the corridor. But still better than the other hotels nearby.

Centrally Located near the main square, great staff! But the size of the rooms, their condition-does not allow to put "excellent"

Hotel without great pretension. Comfortable and clean. Great breakfast with a wide variety of fresh produce. There are for all tastes and diets. The staff are very nice. Only worry: the noise. At the same time if you want to be in the center… Excellent value for money.

Quiet and well kept Hotel. Helpful and friendly staff, possibility to keep the baggage even on the day of departure. Close to the metro and very good restaurants.

Extremely small rooms and beds, but adequate for one night. Good breakfast compensated somewhat for the erratic service of the lift.

Overall the quality/price ratio is correct. The location pretty good but there would have to be some sort of compensation for the guests when a 6 day stay at the hotel you have elevator only 1!.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Modest breakfast, noise from the street, noise from the neighbors, the room is small and dark, small bath, little razetok. No: Hair dryer, kettle, safe, wardrobe. Rooms require renovation. A small bed with a pressurized mattress.

Very good location, between the station of the north and the historical center, Deco to the taste of the day and very clean.

A cheap hotel, recently renovated. The rooms are small but comfortable. On the other hand the walls are cardboard, so the rooms are poorly soundproof. A plus for the city center proxy and the price. A big minus for the noise and the shower in Karcher mode.

Good location, clean room, good breakfast. However, the mattress destroys your back you sink to the center. The window of our room did not close Biwn and Escuchabamoa all the noises, we warned but no answer we received.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm enough for the winter temperatures — I was able to adjust the TRVs on the radiators so it was just right, even though it was — 4C overnight. Everything was quite clean, and the staff were friendly. There were toiletries (soap, shampoo, bath gel, shoeshine cloth) and clean towels (two bath towels, two handtowels) and these were refreshed each day. The room was small: a double bed, a small desk & chair, and an old TV (CRT! ) on an out-of-the-way shelf. I tucked the phone under the bed, and the cleaners left it there, which was nice. Ear plugs are recommended: the walls of the room are so thin I could hear the person moving on the other side of the wall. I also had a lot of noise because the elevator was next to my room, and whenever anyone opened or closed a door in the corridor. The street noise was not so much of a problem for me as my room faced the internal lightwell and I only heard the occasional emergency vehicle siren.

Modest Hotel But the rooms are clean.

I thought it was a very good hotel. It is walking distance from the center and the attention is good. The room was small but very clean. The breakfast was very good.

Fair rooms. To sleep and nothing else. Reception 24h, you walk in and out when you want to consider the party of Brussels. Good attention. We did not have breakfast there for the excessive price we were offered.

Cramped rooms. Receptionist unpleasant and offensive man against those who do not speak French to perfection… good location. Very clean.

The hotel is a little old. There was a crt TV that didn't work and there was no hair dryer. Also, the walls are not very sound proofed. However, for an overnight stay as a place to sleep, the hotel was acceptable.

If I could put a 0, I'd put it. It is not a 3 star hotel, but it does not come to hostel. All very old. Just arriving they make us wait 2 hours to be able to enter the room. The room is so small that to open the suitcase you have to do it over the bed. The mattress tiny, we do not enter 2 people, old and deformed, gives back pain. The pillow are cushions that cotton is echoing balls. The TV without comment. The bathroom lol to say is 40 cm from the bed and not exaggerated is measured. The tiny sink, uncomfortable, without hairdryer, bring your own shampoo and shower gel. Paper walls, there's a lot of noise and you can't sleep. The day you leave the room you are forced to do so at 11 in the morning, calling the room at 10:30 H. The most important thing is without a doubt that you do not change the sheets every day. He communicated it to the front desk and he did nothing. Traumatic experience. Not recommended. Do not book.

Simple Hotel. The rooms are small and very old. The best heating.

Just and necessary to spend the night. Some will say it's retro, some vintage,. The right thing is to say old. Very noisy, windows that insulate the same as a piece of plastic.
Pros: About 15 minutes from the Grand Place.

Well located in the centre of Brussels, with a friendly and attentive service. The bathroom was a little small but functional. It looks somewhat outdated in part of its facilities, but they are just in the process of renovation, so better.

When you arrive be sure your room is comfortable you CANNOT adjust the temp in your own room. Mine was 17 Celsius and I slept dressed the first night. There isa thermostat but it does not adjust the temp. Next making coffee in the room tripped the breaker so it was dressing for work by flashlight. My stay here will make a great story but I would not reccomend to a friend.

Great location to visit Brussels. Environments need renovation. Very nice at the reception. Small double room, but great bed. Old TV 14 "CRT, great Wi-Fi. Great international Breakfast.

The best thing about this hotel is its location between the central and North station. Otherwise it is an old hotel with very small rooms and a tube TV from 30 years ago. The hotel is quiet but the room overlooked an avenue and you would hear a lot of the traffic.
It has very good heating, and bathroom with tub, which is appreciated after a cold day of hiking.
Breakfast is not bad, it is buffet, although they put things with dropper.

Very nice Hotel, everything very clean e very confortable. The only thing that I thought not to good was the price of the breakfest, that was 8, 5 euros.

The hotel is quiet, clean, the staff are friendly, the breakfasts are gorgeous.
It is embarrassing that there was no repair for a long time and the reception refused to accept a bill of 200 euros, although it was not a change.

The room was clean, but really small. You could hear everyone else in the hotel if the window was open, and since it was warm and there was no fan or AC, the window had to be open. But the location was really good — a short walk to the city center and there were lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were available to answer questions and give directions.

Besides the fact we only stayed 1 night. The hotel was pretty lousy besides the comfortable beds it has a small smelly bathroom and the TV was old I didn't think anyone uses those kind anymore not even digital! And the staff were rude when we checked out calling our room 10 minutes before we even could. Spare of the moment place really.

Very supportive and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nice room service. 10 minute walk to most attractions in Brussels. Good place to stay. Beds are not so comfortable.

An absolutely fantastic location. Super convenient for tourists, especially for those who want to see Brussels but also other great places in Belgium. Additionally paid breakfast worth buying.

The location close to the North train station is good, the centre is not far by foot. In the neighbourhood there are nice and affordable Restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. That was it but unfortunately already. We had a double room to the rear. It is very loud. In the summer you have to open the window, because there is no air conditioning. The room is truly tiny and run down. The equipment was I think 2000 modern. This is a View of the images in the network are not aware of. The bathroom has suffered a bit and is also very manageable. The Breakfast buffet is minimalist. All in all, not a recommendation for a multi-day stay.

Hotel with good value for money.

Simple "Vintage" well located a few minutes from the Grand Place, and especially in front of the National Theatre of Brussels.

Cheap and fairly central. Otherwise not bad. Good value for money.

The Hotel is in a great location. Reception present 24/24 with really courteous staff. Breakfast buffet is plentiful.

The lobby is beautiful and very luxurious. For the rest, we are rather in a 1-star hotel, the decoration of the public areas and the bathroom should be given a good shot of youth.
The insonnoration of the rooms should also be reconsidered.
Otherwise stayed there two correct nights thanks to a good bedding.

A hotel with characters. The only hotel that gave us real double bed throughout the journey. Brussels is not as glamouring as it's neighboring capitols but it sits there quietly with its myriads of resident.

Believe me This is a motel not a hotel. Pay a 20$ extra and get a better place… I had a bad experience.

The destruction of the buildings and their reconstruction is inevitable! It is a field of ruins.

Very welcoming, very clean room, we stayed there for three days without problem, breakfast plentiful, this hotel does not fall apart, do not rely on the façade.

Cheap hotel near the center. Nearby serves excellent Italian pasta, can pack to take away with you.

Very nice place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights. The price already included breakfast. Our room has bathtub and it works well. Very very recommended budget hotel.

The staff is nice (almost all), especially the girls serving breakfast and two receptionists. The defects of the hotel are: noise, you hear everything, the walls are plasterboard or something and you find out what makes half of the hotel; the rooms are very very small, minimum, but the bathroom is well done. In mine, in addition, the elevator was heard as if you were in it. The price is not bad at all, is cheap (€50-60), but for the same money, there are better choices, like the Eurocapital. Actually, everything seems a bit shabby but they wanted to give a very modern look. The Wi-Fi charge it you €5 for the entire stay, and there is a computer with Internet in the lobby, free of charge.
