Rooms could be better, but the personnel is kind and polite.

Quedé bastante contento en mi estancia en Escale Hotel, al llegar no me gustó mucho porque el chico que estaba en recepción es bastante borde. Además solo habla bien francés porque su inglés era un poco escaso aunque al final llegamos a entendimiento. Quitando eso la habitación que tuvimos era enorme, tenía un armario muy grande y colgador a parte. Tenía tele de plasma con mando y un escritorio con sillón. La habitación estaba muy calentita porque tenía un radiador enorme que podías configurar tu mismo. Tenía 4 enchufes solo en la habitación, cosa que me parece muy importante. Nuestra cama era de 1.50, algo blandita para mi gusto pero las almohadas perfectas. El baño algo pequeñito pero con una ducha enorme y secador incorporado. El servicio muy bien, nos hicieron la habitación y cambiaron las toallas perfectamente. El hostal cuenta además con un servicio de comidas en el hall aunque no llegamos a usarlo. En conclusión quede muy contento en la relación calidad precio, sobre todo para ser bruselas.

La habitación es muy grande y tiene todos los servicios. La ducha es abundante y el baño cuenta con secador. Las únicas pegas posibles son que el barrio está bastante alejado y no cuenta con todos los servicios cerca (es complicado encontrar restaurantes donde comer y cenar), además de que no está muy transitado, pero en metro, que está a 5-10 minutos te mueves a todas partes sin problema. El primer recepcionista que nos atendió era algo seco.

Small hotel close to the Gare du MIDI in the suburbs of Brussels. Quite simple sum. Rooms are just OK. We were 2 adults and 2 children. My 8-year-old son slept on the couch. No sheets or duvet. We had to ask. The couch was stained in many places and the housekeeping left really to be desired. We did not test the breakfast because too expensive or the paid parking (€13 per day). The room however at the 5th is extremely noisy and bright. The curtains really let out the light from the outside streetlights. Predict eye cover and ball Quies otherwise the night will be short and difficult. In summary, for an acceptable night but for a longer stay I advise you to find another hotel closer to the Center and in a nicer neighborhood.

Can't sleep! Noise (indoor and outdoor) all night. Really not worth the price it asks… To avoid if you want to sleep quietly!

Handy for the bus back to Charleroi airport nice staff but not the best accommodation.

Expensive for the rooms, good location next to the station.

Comune Room 8 clean bed and decent conditions. Not appreciate because I pay €55 because high demand in the city at that time. The normal price is 20-25 €, so it's very good for this room Gen.

Minimal but close to MIDI competitions.

The reception is cold, the rooms dilapidated, the bedding in Bad Condition.

The most horrible hotel experience ever. Stay away from this place, if you can! Extremely dirty, noisy, gloom. I added some photos, of what looks to be dried-up human faeces on the bathroom doorstep, dust rolls and little curly black hair on the hair-drier.

We had a trip at the next day morning, as a result we should stay here, near railway station. Unsmiling lady at the reception. Breakfast normally, but you should go on it early, if you want to have a choice of food. It costs 10 € per person. If you need you can leave your luggage in hotel after check-out. But in the storage room, no one is looking after luggage. Anyone has access there without supervision Hotel OK for one night.

It was simple. Wooden furnitures and Ikea like sitting style. Had bugs, found 2 on my bed overnight. Parking in back, had to walk around block. You get what you pay for.

Nice staff, but weird vibe. The rooms are big, but empty. Old furniture, no decorations, very uncomfortable lighting.

The place is good if u arrive at night as it is close to the train station. However, the hotel is exactly what you pay for: very low quality rooms, almost no plugs to charge the battery of your phone and everything is extra, even the lock for the lockers! You have to pay a deposit for it. As for the breakfast, it looks good at first sight but I would not recommend it… the food was a bit stinky, as a sign that not so many people were having breakfast there and the food was prepared days before. The staff is not so welcoming, only few girls were.

Arrived with a confirmation in hand at 1900 after an all day meeting to be told the company card payment hadn't gone through, funny they never told us before! Then to be told they did have a bed somewhere else a taxi ride away, no idea what it was like, I'd not know till I got there then what choice would I have had. Decided not to and transferred to the next Eurostar out, thankfully Eurostar more help. I'll not be booking here again nor recommending anyone else to.

I like this hotel because it has a very curious atmosphere.

For the price nothing to complain about, clean, large room, the shower cubicle a little vetus and noisy side street.

I stayed there for 3 nights were it was very very nice stay. The hotel staff are cooperative. The room is very clean and large. The facilities are good especially the free Wi-Fi The place is just 5 minutes from the main train station as well as the Metro station.

The hotel needs to be renovated urgently. For the stay OK.

Terrible customer service, room stank of cigarettes. It ruined our trip and ended up going back home on the same day.

Good service. Good English. Lovely room, really large, nice clean bathroom, plenty of place, great price and good location next to the train station! Would recommend! Also, 24 hour check in and help desk which is very helpful! Down side, few plugs, thin walls so its noisy and a cracked bedside table which we caught ourselves on.

That's great. Right next to the central station.

Cheap location, Wi-Fi is weak.

Good hotel, large rooms, the only bad thing is that it has no air conditioning and something away from the center, for everything else very good, breakfast, room, cleaning etc.

With the tour group, lived here, very good …

Good hotel in relation to its price, close to "Gare du Midi" (200 m) which allows to move with great ease in the city. To 3 and 4 stations of the Stations of "bourse" and "Brouckere" where one can walk to the Grand Place passing by good restaurants.
The hotel offers a good breakfast for 7 euros. Very good service, the staff is very friendly.
