I confirm, this lady is a liar and a thief! She unknowingly took money from my credit card even though we weren't at her establishment. We had wanted to book a room, the reservation had been made on booking but his establishment was full and booking therefore confirmed the cancellation of our reservation. We had this lady on the phone who turned out to be particularly unpleasant and aggressive on the phone. Now she refuses to reimburse us and turns a deaf ear. In short, Booking will take these costs at her expense because otherwise I would go to court (fortunately for her). Strongly discouraged!

Habitaciones muy confortables, precio adecuado, desayuno muy bueno, en general todo perfecto. Lo unico que cambiaria es que el checkin solo se puede hacer de 16 a 18h.

We had an excellent weekend thanks to Danielle and all the people who helped her to keep the farm. They were all very nice and welcoming. The room was spotless, the beds super comfortable, and after a very restful night, what a pleasure to have a well-stocked breakfast with good quality products. Icing on the cake, the children fed, cared for and ridden the pony,! Good memories! A thousand thanks and to soon!

I had the chance to enjoy the 2 facets of this beautiful establishment: the Guest house and the equestrian house. First, for us, great room in an old hayloft. The layout was carried out in accordance with the traditional character of the place. And then we had a top-notch coaching for our horses. The boss is attentive to the needs of the riders and their mount. And always with a smile! We had a nice weekend of relaxation.

That this our 5th horse riding weekend (3 other weekends without horses) at Ferme Chateau de Laneffe speaks for itself. The farm itself is a beautifully renovated working farm which explains why the owner, Danielle, is not always behind the reception desk and asks guests to respect arrival times, but it is easy enough to contact her and she is always willing to help solve problems and give advice. The horses have access to large paddocks and in case of bad weather large stalls are available. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable while retaining original features. The breakfast was adequate for a days riding! The area directly around Laneffe provides great riding/walking/cycling routes. For the more adventurous riders there are waymarked walks leaving from Montbliart 25km/Sautin 18km & 25km/Grandrieu 12km all of which are a +/ — 25 minute drive. Along the N5 (10 minutes by car) there are all the supermarkets one could imagine for forgotten items and a small village supermarket within a 10 minute walk. If one wishes to eat in a local restaurant we can recommend La Vache Rouge, Rue de Charleroi 3, 5650 Yves-Gomezée also a 10 minute drive. If one is looking for a hotel with 24h reception, sterile rooms and nameless staff then Laneffe is not for you, but for a warm, family run bed and breakfast then Laneffe is to be recommended.

Great time at the castle farm. A manager at the top and relaxed compared to the expectations of the riders.

Looked at the reviews… too late. Booked one month ago, checked on Thursday by phone: all ok. Arrive on Friday 5pm: sorry we are overbooked. The excuses received look really poor in the light of the other reviews. From the vans on the parking, it would appear that the place got specialised for workers from eastern countries to whom priority is probably given as long term clients. Very nice alternative selected last minute in France 30km away. Never again!

It was a lovely place. Second visit that will not be the last.

I went there in seminary, the place is charming, the meeting rooms picturesque, the style is rustic.

Avoid, unless you like the adventure.
Like many people, I got there after having confirmation of my booking by phone and e-mail
And there, more space!
But not a car in the parking lot and as one excuse.
Oh, you're going to blame me, but I have bad manage my bookings!
Result: the hotel EXTREME in Walcourt, helped us find a bed and breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children, thanks to them
and… at the London farm, which remains below for his service!

Excellent and friendly staff! Exquisite meal! In short an experience that leaves very fond memories. Let me be more than skeptical as to the above comment about monkfish. This fish is very specific and it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to substitute a "vulgar white fish", except trouble Visual and taste! Obvious bad faith!

Property to flee.
Booked for a wedding, it was that disappointment, except the frame.
Ingredient of the menu not respected (we promise the monkfish and we serve your guests a vulgar white fish).
Slow table service.
Cutting of the cake in the ballroom while most of the Diners were at table.
Obligation to pay all meals in advance (difficult to recover compensation if use you something else, see point explained above)
Do not rely the first contact with the landlady who welcomes you all smile.

Book 15 days in advance for a night in a room with Cot and the evening meal. Confirmed booking not phone, but despite several reminders, we never received the confirmation email that the boss claims to have sent several times. There are 12 hours, the boss tells us that the room is well booked but the meal is not possible because we are 2 to have book the meal. First surprise. The House still needs to be cleaned. As agreed, let's go to a reception up to 18 hours. Back, what was not our surprise when the boss tells us she gave our room to someone else but she has booked a hotel in the area. Arrived at the hotel, no crib! So we were forced to go home. This lady is obviously not capable of managing its property, confusing explanations in a rude tone gives. Avoid at all taken.

At 16: 00 on 16 February 2015 we are welcomed with my wife by a lady who is not the owner. The latter is absent and has "forgotten" our reservation (made a month earlier for a night and the evening meal). I'm put in contact by telephone with the boss who, absent until the evening, wants to send in a hotel in Philippeville. Got there no room and the restaurant is closed. I'll get back to the boss who is very unpleasant, said she would have lost my phone number. That is not his fault if she was not able to warn me and rudely ended hang on to the nose. We are therefore back home… Bravo the commercial spirit of that person. Result 300kms to normally have a good time in a relationship that eventually turned into disappointment.
