Golden Tulip Bahrain claims to be a 5-star hotel. But I think they are more like a 3-Star. Bathroom was uncleaned, I could see hairs lying on the bathtub from previous guests. They are very tight on towels. We found only one towel between 3 guests in the room. No slippers, no Bathrobes. It is a basic hotel with basic services. I had to ask for more towels.

Loved the hotel. Really nice and clean. The view is really good as well. The beds are comfortable and food is good as well. Would stay there again the next time I go to Bahrain again. Such nice views and hospitality. Would recommend to anyone who is traveling or intend to travel to Bahrain to stay at this nice place.

It's okay, some rooms 90's style, smoking rooms stink. Was transferred to non smoking room, was told a new room would be ready within 3/4 hours…, but it took 23 hours, so long, overall customer welcoming as soon as I arrived was poor and unfriendly, felt unwelcome. Staff help begrudgingly, don't really do the extra for the travellers, the food is buffet style like any hotel it's okay and there's a variety. The swimming pool is okay, small, schools book it evenings, if you like privacy, then it's not that private, as it's facing the restaurant, who wants to eat food and watch a hairy chest man swimming? also surrounded by seating areas, Its a noisy in weekends there's bars and drink, so if you like quite break ask for non smoking top level. Neighbours can be rowdy and don't sleep on smoking level floors. This is an okay hotel. Seen better for the price. The customer service from me is very poor and unwelcoming, 1/10, facilities 7/10, food 6/10.

Nice hotel in the manama area of Bahrain. Good for stay in mid budget. Friendly staff and service. Also have restaurant. Also good to hold parties and other programs and get together.

Pathetic experience, worst is the way they treat their guests, they leave no space to embarrass their guests. I wonder how they got 4 stars and for what service.

A stopover in Bahrain forced us to book a hotel. The Golden Tulip was assigned to us so to speak. We were picked up at the airport, the check-in was unproblematic. The room was in an annexe building. The view showed a wall about 2 m away. A lonely towel was available. However, further towels were readily provided upon request. The package also included lunch and dinner. This was kept ready for our kind of guest in a kind of canteen. The buffet was not very rich and also not outstanding in quality. After all, there was water and other cold drinks in large plastic bottles for self-service. At check-in, we were informed when the checkout was to be in order to be in time for the next flight at the airport. The transfer to the airport was only slightly delayed by a fallen seal in the shuttle bus. The operation in the front part of the hotel recalled, however, what guests and gastronomy were concerned about "golden tulip".

Delayed at the service. Lier receptionist. We asked for deluxe non smoking room, but she offered us a standard room, when refused she offered a smoking deluxe room but after two hours which means st (20:00). When asked her to call her supervisor who was welling to assist she said she found a room NOW! BUT NOBODY WAS THERE DURING OUR CHECK IN. THE NEXT DAY IS OUR CHECK OUT, we have it until 1300 as they refused to give us free late check out, we called at 1300 to do the check out and to send the Hellboy to us, we called them four time, until 13:50 NOBODY came to assist us, and we took our luggage with us.

It is a very beautiful place that has clean, quite, peaceful and comfortable rooms. The receptionists are very professional and welcoming and their services are nice.

In Bahrain, the transfer is 18 hours. Booked the accommodation in advance and on the counter we were placed here. Brought/taken to the airport. The room was very clean. Breakfast and dinner are included. There is a pool that would freshen up, the gym, the rest did not have time to examine.

They overcharged my stay at the Hotel, plus I had to pay a Taxi when it supposed to be free, blaming on me saying I called the taxi when I have no clue how to call it, orribile experience, front desk useless.
I felt like being trapped and they didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience. Food was the only thing decent (I have been kind, I could use worse words). … I would rather prefer sleep on the floor.
I don't suggest this Hotel.
Literally poor staff and unobstructed.

Very nice hotel. I have stayed here twice and realky liked it but why did change the ladies uniform. That's the reason I'm not giving you a 5

PACE E LUCE SALOON I went there to get my make up done for my engagement. The make up artist did the following mistakes: 1. She made my face wider by conturing horizontally (my face is round so the contour has to come at an angle) 2. She over lined my lips (I have big lips so there is no need to do that in the first place) 3. The glow she put in my inner eye lids was not blended 4. She did not moisturize my face 5. She did not prime my face 6. She commented several times about my need to lose weight I do not think this is professional or right, and I think she should accept opinions as she kept telling my sister to 'not say anything' about her make up since she was supposedly the professional in the room. As for my hair, it was okay, but instead of the stylist herself working on it she let the technician work on it because she was busy taking in more customers. Horrible service. Horrible. I'm going to make sure none of my family and friends go there because this place BODY SHAMES brides and lowers their self esteem.

Though a five star category… certain things need to be improved. The welcome desk staff are helpful and courteous. They spoke well and did a good service for checking in. Very professional that they gave all what we were looking for… Wi-Fi, pickup details etc. Swimming pool really fine. Dinner rooms … can be better. Food … for airport guests… can be better in quality and variety. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Though a bit small for this category, it is ok for a transit stay.

Nice hotel with good services. . I got this hotel for complementary cancellation of Gulf Air and they transfer my flight to another one.

Really nice place to stay near the airport. Very good room and service. Food was fine, not too good, at least for me. I stayed there via my airline in transit and thus got a different food then normal guest. May be the normal food is better. Overall a very good experience, especially for the price which I had paid.

It's a 5-star rated property. Although, in my opinion it has a few shortcomings. The rooms aren't really sprawling. The housekeeping staff is good though. The food doesn't really meet your expectations when it comes from a 5-star property kitchen. The best part about the hotel is their pool, gym, steam, sauna area. One can spend hours and be refreshed and rejuvenated!

Nice facilities, however due to the energy saving policies in place, all the electrical power to the room mandates that your room key be in a card reader for the duration of the time you wish the power to be on. Once you remove the card from the reader you have approximately 1 minute before all the power to your room turns off; this includes all power outlets in your room. There are no alarm clocks in the rooms, and the food at the Kei is of far less quality that anticipated.

Great hotel. Really liked it here. Best thing was the bed. Really comfortable. Slept like a log… food staff and nice business centre on the 5th if you have a late flight.

It is a very nice hotel and the staff is attentive. I would highly recommend it.

The place is cozy, well maintained and very nice. The thing that I like most in this place is that they serve rice which is a plus for me as not all the hotels that I've been do. We were not able to try the pool as it was winter when we went there. The gym has a nice facility.

My stay was "complimentary" courtesy of Gulf Air used as an emergency stopover and paid for by Gulf Air because of their (my) extensive flight delays. (Gulf Air took 3 days to get me to Bangkok from London via Bahrain — usually only 13 to 16 hrs! ) However Golden Tulip was a very good hotel. All the Staff were very good and good service. The first breakfast for the Gulf Air "victims" was rather poor (cold and old) but the "a la carte lunch" and the buffet dinner were excellent. I would definitely recommend the hotel for business or pleasure and would stay again (even when paying my own bill)

Completely overpriced (they wanted to charge us about $120 PER person that stayed in the room. Ants in the lobby bathroom (probably all of the ants that exist in Bahrain), breakfast buffet was decent, dinner was overpriced for what they offered/food quality, and I found what looked like a speaker box/microphone in the bathroom underneath the sink counter, was a bit suspicious of that. Other than that, at least the bed felt good.

Had Ramadan Iftar buffet and the food was good. The service was great and the atmosphere is good.

This hotel is good. They have all the amenities expected of a hotel like pool, gym, spa, free breakfast, etc. New Years eve and their Arabian night celebration was really good. Location is also good.

One of the first in Manama but still nice. Good service, 4 restorants, 1 bar, cabare show, spa. Location.

It's cozy and clean. But some old items like hair dryer and dimming switches don't work anymore. They became more like antique displays.

The Golden Tulip has one of the best locations you can ask for. It is within walking distance to the gold souk and right next to the highway for quick access to the airport. They have provided great service every day I have stayed here. Their customer service is fantastic and they offer great buffets 3 days out of the week. They have a good variety for their breakfast and juice bar. The gym only consists of a few cardio machines and has certain times women can be there. Overall a great hotel that I will stay at in the future.

First look. 1 — old smelly toyota Hiace to pickup. Just open windows a little if not windy 2-greedy packages. Try to earn from small things like brkfast and internet 3-now u started. Moving to ur room. From elevator. Corridors observing, dirty spotty light camel color carpet. Thnkng of ur near future 4-lastly u enetered ur room. Same dirty spotty carpet, with hair visible on it. now I am thinking about bath and bed sheets. lets see. (first and last stay at this place. Hopefully).

The hotel is very dated, most if it's facilities are old, I'll never pay the over priced rates, got to stay cause I got bumped from my flight, do not recommend it.

Friendly staff. Great Japanese restaurant. Interesting Hooka club called "The Russian", that sports half naked women dancing for your viewing pleasure. All in all, not a bad place to stay if you're in Bahrain for a long stretch.

It was an holiday for me.! Best place to spend time is in the pool! Its worth staying there. The service is also gud.
