It good and convaint right downtown Nassau.

Place is close to downtown, Nassua which is very good, but I dont really like anything else. Was just a place to crash at night.

It's great yo, I really enjoyed my stay and the staff is amazing.

The best economic option in Nassau. The owners and staff were very friendly. An enviable location that also exhibits Bahamian art.

Small, but Pacific place, Wi-Fi, swimming pool is ok to be near town.

Quaint hotel with a lot of history. Worth a visit to say hi to their resident parrot! He's a wise, old fella.

Noisy neighbours (hotel guests) but a cheap and decent place to stay in Nassau.

My second time here in one week. I tried other places but this place got me. This review goes for two seperate rooms. Evrrything is clean and in working order. I have nothing to complain about. Once I come back to nassau this will be the first hotel ill look for.

A hiden gem in the heart of Nassau. Lovely art work and the bartender, Lucky makes some strong drinks.

Rooms are the worst ever… very poor. Beds aweful. Staff great. But hotel too old and run down. Wont recomend to a hog.

For 100+ / night it's just a low end motel like in the states. They have a restaurant owned by the hotel, breakfast = eggs. And more eggs… nothing special. The manager told me that I wasn't allow to eat in the lounge (I brought food I bought out side of the hotel), apparently because it also their restaurant. They asked me to go out side to eat. And it was light rain outside. And their lobby / restaurant is super tiny, may be enough sitting for 30 peoples max… I under stand but I paid for my room for a whole week, and I couldn't even use the lobby to eat my foods. Terrible service, I would never come back. Pros: close to downtown, so you can walk to catch the bus or ferry. Cons. Loud, you will hear dump trucks every morning at 4 or 5 am and other vehicles delivery stuffs to other business around. Small room, shower water is drippy, toilet clogged. Smelly. Manager sucks. No elevator,

Very high rates for what's to offer. Still, probably a good deal in Nassau. — Rooms require a general renovation, Internet seldom working, same poor breakfast everyday; + center of Nassau and everything accessible, receptionist can help with all the information you need.

Location was great. Room was fairly clean. Service was good and friendly.

I read numerous reviews and didn't know what to think but I still booked a room anyway due to price. To be honest it's ok great location to downtown and other attractions with great amenities I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel stay experience was horrible. The staff was nice BUT the manager Mrs Overend was very rude and she treats her staff badly too. I was awaken by loud noises one evening which they did correct however she tried to make it seem like the noise was not that loud to cause me not to sleep. In my 6 night stay at 125.18/night I also caught bed bugs, at first I didn't know what it was until, I kept itching and the bits spread to different parts of my body and two other guest told me they were itching too. I slept on top of the blankets the entire stay using my airline blanket to cover up. Once again I informed the front desk but they fearfully denied that that bed bug bits is what was happening to me, saying it may be mosquitoes bits not BEDBUGS. Due to the last encounter with the manager days before, I knew the fear of their managers reaction to me was causing the staffs behavior therefore I could not wait until the next morning to get out of that hotel to handle these matters from the outside. I wouldn't send a enemy there to sleep!

If you don't want the expense of a resort this is a good option. Staff is okay. Rooms are okay. Location is great.

Nice staff, air conditioning in the room. At least the Breakfast, what you have to pay tastes good. What all food should be sufficient. Air conditioning very noisy, the room relatively clean, fridge and microwave in the room.

I've stayed here three times. I'm in Nassau on business often, I just need a bed to sleep in not buy one. The cheapest hotel you'll find in Nassau is $125/night which is the rate at the Towne Hotel. In the states this place would be a $40-50 a night hotel; old, run down, tacky decor. The window A/Cs are loud but you have to run them. I ate there twice. Don't do it! Very expensive for very little. I ordered a pork chop dinner with cole slaw, corn, mashed potato, and apple sauce. The pork chop was thin, tiny, and waaay over cooked, the corn was freezer burned, the cole slaw and apple sauce was served in tiny 2 oz plastic cups with about a tablespoon of each. I did like the potatoes. I was still hungry and walked to McDonalds directly. They don't serve breakfast or coffee until 7:30 AM. I'm up and long gone by then so I walk to Duncan Doughnuts instead. Step out front in the evening or very early before sunrise and you'll see rats as big as cats. And finally… expect to pay $8.25 for a bottle of beer and the hot water is room temp at best. The staff was good. Just so ya know…

Very clean and enjoyable. Nothing surprising and is a great place to stay. Breakfast is ok. Would stay again.

Great place to say if you have a short stop over on you way to out islands. Our room was exceptionally clean and Robbie the bartender made our stay the most enjoyable. We loved the food they served and really low prices. We will definitely stay at the Towne Hotel again.
