I don't think there is a more conveniently placed hostel in Vienna. The check-in and check-out system is great, modern and fast (basically just PIN codes). A friendly place for youngsters to meet fellow young travellers from all around the world, and cleanliness deserves an extra star. The kitchen is remarkable, well equipped. Just note: especially in the summer it can get really warm in Vienna, and at night the beds feel like a hotbox.

People steal from the fridge, which is very sad and disappointing. I know this is nothing that the hostel has control over, however what they do have control over is the matter in which they react to situations like this. Also a girl had several bed bugs and their response was basically nothing more than "oh well, go sleep in another bed". Where is the customer service here? Not even trying to sound compassionate or understanding, much less trying to do anything about it. And — in contrast to the fridge situation — definitely aomething they could and should control, if anybody cared. Very disappointed!
