On the Positve side — 1. Great location. Calm and a bit outside the most touristic areas. Yet within walking distance to the historical city centre and close to the U-Bahn and the Tram. 2. The Breakfast buffet was ok. Could have been open longer though. You have many tourists staying at your hotel that don’t want to rush through the buffet table if they arrive to the breakfast at 9.30 a. M. 3. Friendly staff in the reception (except one) 4. My single bed in room 311 was ok and I slept comfortably.
On the Negative side — 1. The hotel should NEVER be completely dark even if you arrive after midnight. It’s totally unacceptable and feels completely unwelcoming to have all the lights outside the hotel and in the hotel lobby turned off during the night. 2. My 2 Friends who stayed in room 112 sadly had to stay in what felt like a sauna! The A/C didn’t worked and the radiators beside the bed and in the toilet was extremly hot. We managed to slightly get the radiator beside the bed colder but the one inside the toilet was broken and partially off from the wall, wich made the toilet extremly hot! It’s not very pleasant to experience that when the hotel is fully booked and there is no chance to change room! 3. You need a room with a locked door for luggage storage. The open area behind a simple gate that was easy to open from the outside, where we left our luggage for a few hours at our day of departure, did not felt safe. 4. The description when I booked stayed that the hotel was completely renovated in 2017. Yet the walls and the roof was unclean at some places and parts of the wallpaper by the stairs was loose.
