Excellent location! Nice hotel!

Nice bathroom and ok Wi-Fi.

Clean, but very simple, almost spartan.

The rooms barely fulfilled minimum standards. For electricity I was provided a loose extension cord but no visible outlet, and had to reorganise the beds to find it. The first day I woke up by the neighbours alarm as if it had been just next to me, so do not expect any kind of privacy. Several parts of both the room and the shared toilets and bathrooms were also in need of maintenance. The staff were not exactly unfriendly, but not helpful either. When I checked in I felt almost unwanted. In the breakfast buffet they did not refill some of the goods unless explicitly asked, despite it being more than two hours left of the allotted time. The best thing about the place was it's location. 150 meter from Westbahnhof​ and Maria Hilfer Straße it was close both to shopping and commute.

Large room with washbasin. It has 2 toilets per floor and they are shared; The shower area is divided into 4 cubicles for simultaneous use. Very clean everything and very good attention from all the staff.

Bad soundproof but correct for the price.

Great value for money, is easy as in the hotel as far as the level is concerned. Can I recommend to anyone!

Great interior, the rooms and reasonable prices.

Very good and professional hostel. Next to church where nuns used to live. Very professional setup with small details looked at like website, internet, naming rooms after famous Austrians and write-up in room. Another expensive city. But a good hostel and value for money. I stayed in a single private room with washbasin and shared bathroom.

Very easy to find and the front desk was very helpful. Gave us suggestions for dinner and where to go. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean as well as the shower room.

Cold and anonymous. Cost-effective solution to two steps from the train station and a 20-minute walk from the city centre. If you do not have other alternatives.

Cheap and clean. Nothing fancy but still a good place if you need place to stay. Breakfast was good.

A cheap way during his visit in Vienna his weary head to bed. It is not a hotel, but also a hostel. A mixture of the two. Small, but very cosy room. Showers and Toilets are however on the course for a whole floor, but clean. With a bathrobe for going to the shower is included in the price. The breakfast buffet is not exactly crowded enough and tasty.

It's a nice place to stop if you are in a hurry and/or you're a budget traveler. Not the kind of hostel you want to stay in if you are looking to meet others (that wasn't my goal, so it was fine with me). Shared bathrooms and showers can be a minor inconvenience — but they provide comfy robes to combat this. I also appreciated that the accommodations were very clean!

I was now studying reasons about 9 times in the Kaiser23. I was with the price performance ratio is very satisfied. The staff is very friendly, the rooms as also the sanitary facilities were always clean. And I had Wi-Fi during your last stay (01 03 2015, 2nd floor) also in the room. However, the rooms are not for sensitive ears or long off sleeper.
For me the correct address for a cities stay in Vienna.
Highly recommended.

A good hostel. The staffs are nice and helpful and the room is clean and tidy. However I found that some lamps in the common area, for example in the toilet and at the corridor, were out of order for 2 days without notification. It caused a little inconvenience to us. Besides, this is a good hostel I'm willing to stay here in the future.

Very good. Clean rooms, convenient location, good breakfast. The showers were excellent and the staff friendly Would have liked a jug in our room to make tea (as we like it) but generally no complaints.

Booked a private sigle room with shared bathroom. The room is clean and large, surprisingly towers and glass are provided inside. There is even shampoo in the shared bathroom, very convenient. The location is very good, close to Westbahnhof, tram No. 5 is right downstairs. The only drawback is that the breakfast is really poor with very few choices, definitely doesn't worth 8 EURO.

I was now out for the purpose of studying about 8 times in the Kaiser23. I was with the price-performance ratio is always very satisfied. The staff is very friendly, The rooms as well as sanitary facilities were always top clean. And W-Lan, I had the last stay (01.03.2015 7 2. Floor) new also in the room. For me the correct address for a Vienna-cities-stay. Highly recommended.

Cleanliness and friendliness top! Only drawback in my opinion: very noisy Act of cleaning squads from 7:30 h.

It was really good! The Hostel is in the city center, close to everything. The room was clean, and cozy. This Hostel has the best staff in the world! Thank you for everything :)

The welcome and service were very friendly. The room was very clean and quiet. The only small downside is that there's only a ladies room per floor. I slept very well. Also offered breakfast was very good. There was also a day to read the newspaper. I will stay in the Kaiserstraße sure again.

The service really good, the place is really nice, well located and friendly people. The breakfast good, the internet so fast no problem. Maps available on reception, printer and TV. Rooms are reasonable in size and very pleasantly decorated. Unfortunately the rooms are very clairaudient. The conversations of our neighbors, we were able without difficulty to follow, we probably have us, in spite of a wall, very good to talk to you. Also, we have the flushing from the toilet belongs, in between layers, but 3 rooms.

We've been there more times. We are very pleased with the new ambience, especially for young people. To be criticized is the lack of a bedside lamp or wall lamp that can be turned off from the bed.
Furthermore, it should be a trifle to shorten the table legs in the breakfast room by at least 5 cm, because you are sitting very uncomfortable. A good service is providing bathrobes that we appreciated.
Because of the lack of an internal bath, two stars plus maybe more correct.

Charming Hostel, great Breakfast buffet, very friendly staff. Rooms are somewhat Spartan furnishings and a lamp at the bed or at least a light switch would be great. Happy again.

This was the 3rd time we spent here a couple of nights. The price-performance ratio is close to the Western train station, a "BIM" station outside the front door, the Mariahifer road very well, just a few hundred metres away. There is also a metro station. The Kaiser23 is a good starting point for the exploration of Vienna. We had booked without breakfast.

From the train station, walk 10 minutes can reach the network only has one floor, not very convenient. Value was also good. The room is more small lots, and student accommodation feel like. But still relatively clean.

Nice spacious room with bathrobe in it :) Very clean hotel, pleasent english-speaking staff. Free apples and Wi-Fi in a guest room (lobby). Wi-Fi was rather fast, though you may spend some time trying to connect to it. But maybe that was just my device :) Eventually there were no problems. The only thing I've disliked about hotel was a very strong echo in corridors. Location is very nice too: there are two subway stations (U-bahn), railway station (Westbahnhof), and the Museam Square within walking distance.

Hostel Kaiser is great, if you don't mind sleeping on the floor. The location was amazing, as it was both a close walk from one of the main train stations and the main shopping street and the museumquartier. The food in the nearby area was awesome, the lounge area was definitely satisfactory, and the bathrooms and rooms were nearly spotless. My only issue with the guesthouse were the bedbugs that plagued my mattress. I woke after the first morning, my feet and legs covered in bedbug bites, much to my surprise. However, other than this, Hostel Kaiser was excellent.
