Location: The hotel is not exactly in the centre of Vienna but is in a strategic position: a hundred meters uphill (coming from the hotel) is in fact the entrance "Kolschitzkygasse" of the station "Südtiroler Platz-Hauptbahnhof" Metro U1, from which you can reach in three stops (less than 5 minutes) Stephansplatz, the center of the city.
The proximity to the aforementioned station also makes it easy to arrive by subway from the airport. Just in fact buy, in addition to the Vienna Card, which will allow you to take advantage of 48 or 72 hours of all public transport in Vienna and that you would like to do if you do not want to die of cold moving always and just walk, an extra Metro ticket For the price of €2.20, then take Metro S7 to "Rennweg" and then the S2 to "Südtiroler Platz-Hauptbahnhof", thus saving CAT money (the train that takes from the airport to the city centre and costs about €11 one way, €17 A/R).
The hotel is also a few minutes walk from the Belvedere quarter, the museum in which it is exposed (as well as many other works), the famous kiss of Klimt.
Style and services: The hotel is modern and clean and is equipped with all the necessary comforts: air conditioning, independent heating (it is hot! ), free Wi-Fi etc. It is present, near the breakfast room, also a PC with printer to surf the internet and print Any email. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and the fixtures isolate very well from the few outside noises. The bed is very comfortable.
Breakfast: The hotel offers a generous breakfast for the price of €9.90 a person whose personally we have not used. As an alternative in fact a few tens of meters in front of the hotel, there is a very nice Bistro where you can make a breakfast more than satisfactory paying more or less the same amount in two. Or even, inside the station of "Südtiroler Platz-Hauptbahnhof" You can find the various Starbucks, Subway etc.
Q/P ratio: Excellent for the above reasons.
In conclusion, if I had to go back to Vienna, I wouldn't think twice: I would stay here again. Very recommended.
