Review of Mercure Grand Hotel Biedermeier Wien 4*

We just walked away from this hotel and I have to say it left me a really nice memory. Its location is nothing short of strategic. Located just 300 meters from the station and the Stop CAT (City Airport train, which is the train that in 16 minutes takes you directly to the airport without making stops with a cost of €12 for one way and €20 A/R) and about 1 km from the old town. The hotel is located in a beautiful driveway about 50m away. From the main road. It is easy to find it as there is the sign directly on the building at the entrance of the driveway. The staff are very kind and always willing to solve any problems they may present themselves. We had the check out at 10am and the plane in the evening, the receptionists kindly let us deposit our bags and then take them back in the afternoon without making any kind of problems. The breakfast is really well structured with many dishes especially for those who do American breakfast. Sweet and salty in abundance (although of course the salty prevails) juices, jams, croissants, salami, cheeses, various types of bread, eggs, bacon etc… The halls are often crowded but immediately you can find a table to sit. The hotel in the complex is well cared for, the rooms very clean, well insulated from external noises and equipped with all the comforts. Also near the hotel there are several shops, bars, tobaccos, MC Donalds etc. What about if we come back to Vienna we will definitely stay here. Congratulations.
