➜ "Home is not a place — home is a feeling". With these words from Herbert Grönemeyer we were welcomed last year for the first time at the Hotel Residenz Hochalm and already last year we were able to realize for a week that these words are lived in the hotel every day. Due to this warm nature of the hosts, we decided as a family to book the Hotel Residenz Hochalm again this year as a domicile for our summer holiday. We surprised every one of our friends and acquaintances with the booking, we were previously known for not visiting a holiday hotel twice.
Already at the reception after arrival at the reception we were allowed to realize that this re-booking should not turn out to be a mistake. The welcome from Lucia at the reception was warm, we were given a welcome drink and we immediately felt welcome and very comfortable.
The hotel is located just outside Hinterglemm towards the end of the valley. Thanks to the guest card, which was handed over to us by the hotel at the beginning of the holiday, we were able to use both the valley bus (for trips to the center) and the numerous gondolas to the mountain peaks for free.
For our stay at the hotel we had booked a 3-room suite "Royal".
➜ Very good food. You could choose between vegetarian and meat every day. Breakfast was very sufficient and left nothing to be desired. Completely satisfied 🥰
