A lovely hotel very close to the old town and the Mirabell Gardens. The reception staff were very helpful.

Nice hotel in the centre of Salzburg. The rooms are particularly old. However the hotel community to repay the hotel structure is a bit out of date. Although I was aware of the historicity of the building I would have expected a little more maintenance of the common spaces. The context remains in any case very elegant, with services worthy of a four star. I don't put 5 stars because the room was really a hole.

The room is very clean and descent size for a small room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location was very good cause we could be to the main sightseeing areas within ten-fifteen minutes walk. The restaurants around the hotel were great. Only minus was that the room was next to a busy Street so if you needed to open the window, you could hear the traffic.

Cosy ambience with nice people. Reception needs to be more tourist friendly. Not very close to the train station.

I've stayed in this Lovely hotel with my wife for few nights in December during the advent, visiting amazing Salzburg. We were both extremely happy with our stay — hotel was amazing, with nice decoration, well kept and spotless clean. The receptionists being extremely professional, were the nicest, polite and most helpful people You can come across. Will definitely return back. Thank You :-)

Honestly No 4 star value, small old room, bathroom probably from the 70s. For one night it was OK, but next time I'm looking for something else.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The location is convenient, between the central station and the center by the river. The rooms are a little tight, but this is quite normal for Europe. Lots of cafes and restaurants closeby and a great little Farmer's market on Thursday!

We had a very comfortable room, and the individuals at the front desk were terrific! We had problems with the Wi-Fi the first night, but they fixed it the next day. The location is good… Just two or three blocks from the meeting place for many tours, including the Eagle's Nest, Sounds of Music, etc. It is a longer hike to Old City, but not very far at all. We were able to purchase tickets for our tour from the hotel, but we would have saved 10 euros each if we had booked it ourselves. We were Incorrect in assuming that we would get the pre booking price through the hotel. The beds were super comfortable, even if they were two separate twin beds pushed together. The shower pressure was fantastic. I would recommend using a site like booking. Com to get a good price on the rooms.

Friendly and nice, very close to the center.

We arrived late on a Sunday when many shops were closed. Intuitively, reception shared suggestions on good, open restaurants. In addition, reception genuinely cared about our comfort, stay and that we enjoyed the city. Overnight street parking is easy, but I should have inquired about car parks during the day since I am illiterate to the street signs. I wish we spent more than two nights here. The continental breakfast is good for a quick bite before running out to a tour. Obviously we went on the Sound of Music tour and this hotel is positioned perfectly for that. I had time for the full breakfast before my drive to Graz the next morning. It was comprehensive, fresh and delicious. I think there is a terrace but unfortunately our stay was too short to lounge at the hotel. We stayed in the economy room which was more than sufficient. Plenty of storage spaces in the room. Most impressive for me was the authentic furniture pieces which were both functional added to the beauty and awe of our stay in Salzburg.

Rooms are small but it is very clean and the staff is so friendly! Very close to everything in Salzburg. Will stay here again.

Very very closely in private, in the shower, it is impossible to turn around. It does not matter what you have weight and height.

We spent one week there. All (the host, the daughter, the staff) were always keen to make nice and beautiful it for us. The rooms are very clean and generously laid; the kitchen simply delicious. In fine weather we could eat always out there, if we wanted, on the terrace. We drive about 2-3 times a year in vacation and go safely once again.

Some rooms are located in the stairwell and you can hear therefore all noise! Rooms themselves are extremely small and the shower only slim people have place since they are so tight! The only plus point was the breakfast! Since there has been lack of anything.
