We visited for two nights in June and would certainly recommend Haus Arenberg. We found the family feel resonated at every point, from the warm welcome, open garden and seating areas, and excellent breakfast. The location is approx. 20 — 30 minute walk from the old town and major tourist sites of Salzburg but we liked this as the walk was quiet and meandering through cobbled streets lined with traditional houses, very picturesque. Of the four hotels we stayed in during our time in Austria this was by far the best, breakfast is exceptional, beds comfortable and amenities well stocked (the shower was amazing! )

Owner very friendly, Breakfast varied landscape is beautiful, there is a free car Park, walk in the beautiful Villa zone to the city centre as long as 15 minutes.

My Family and I have stayed at the wonderful place a few times now and we could not have had a better experience. Very charming hosts, very clean and spectacular views. We will definitely come back.

For us this is not a 4 star hotel but 3. Good location but for people who do not walk easily there is no possibility of public transportation and if you go to the center by car there is a lot of traffic and parking is expensive. Moreover the rooms deserve to be renovated and especially the products presented at breakfast do not always have the freshness that one could expect for a 4 stars.

Very nice amd different experience than any other hotel. It looks like a family. The arrangments and all the decorative items AWESOME.

Cleaning staff very nice. The rooms are very small. It's not even a fan. The larger room very needing renovation even has mold. My personal opinion is way too expensive. Don't want to go again. Took extra photos. Unfortunately the owner and the woman from Hungary were not exactly nice.

Great view of the Alps. Nice, well maintained room, the staff is really sweet and adorable. It's not too far from the city center but it's a 15 minute walk at least.

The House of Arenberg is quite centrally (about a 15 minute walk) but is still in a quiet residential area. Friendly staff, rooms are now not necessarily super equipped, but perfectly adequate. Mattress was for me personally a little on the soft side. But you'll never be able to do it all right. If you are lucky and have a room above, you can enjoy a great view of the mountains. The rooms also have a balcony. Breakfast buffet did not look huge at first first sight, but there was a good selection of food and drink available.

Excellent location to be in the old city, only a short walk. The place is clean, welcoming and definitely would recommend to stay here. Having somewhere to park the car also is a bonus!
