Good food and clean and nice!

The food was excellent and the rooms are clean and really nicely furnished. We would book again immediately.

I can only rate the food because I am from Steyr.
I was very positive about the vegan alternative on the menu! The 'Feel good Bowl' was fabulous and a real taste experience — no 'vegan ready meal with what's on the menu'!
Many long-established inns can look away from this! Thank you!

Had over 50 overnight stays between 2017 — 2019 here. The hotel to be when you are in Steyr. Nice people, great kitchen and cosy bar. Tried twice another hotel as Mader was fully booked at that time. In addition they make good cocktails.

Super nice old town hotel, receptionist has offered us that we can keep rooms for longer free of charge and sleep out because the next day hardly any new guests arrive — super delicious breakfast.

Unfortunately, the waitress was too hot that day to serve us as hotel guests on the terrace and we were sent to the restaurant next door, although the friendly receptionist thought that enough tables were available at this time (5 pm). The single rooms are unfortunately very outdated and without air conditioning. The breakfast buffet, on the other hand, was excellent, except for the said waitress, who absolutely thought that we should sit down in the sun, as it was soon gone, but that was not the case. As an apology, however, we were kindly given a breakfast for my sister (non-hotel guest) by the nice lady at the reception.

I only visited the restaurant. Brani was just gorgeous! A good selection of dishes, salads, desserts. And the price is very reasonable! I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Bravo to the chefs! Tiramisu was the most magnificent! I highly recommend it to everyone!

We got a huge room which was nice with the kids. Breakfast was good.

Ingenious restaurant! Very great that it is completely smoke-free! Very pleasant, very happy to return. Atmosphere great, food fantastic, staff very friendly and accommodating.

I have been eating very often and have never been disappointed except once but this has been noted and can happen … The reason was it was Christmas and very much going on that happen because error is quite normal but otherwise top to eat super nice service and good honest cuisine.

Central location in beautiful old town of Steyr. Excelent good food, waiters are alert to Zack and very attentive. My room was quite small, the old construction of the building is probably no different.

Local food and drinks are served here by dressed-up waiters.
Parking spaces are available at the town square or in the parking garage above the Enns.

Long-established Locally with good food.

You will be hard pressed to find another hotel like this. Wonderful setting in the heart of Steyr. Every room unique and well presented along the maze of corridors and hidden doors. Fantastic place. Love It!

This is a nice and friendly Hotel built into several very old Houses (early 16th century). A Hotel is in this Place since 1694, it was expanded to its current Size in 1978. Most of the Rooms are accessible, but not all due to the Age of the Building. If You talk to the Staff, they will be glad to help. The Breakfast is extremely rich and good and most of the Food is prepared fresh. You can even press Your own Juice. If You never stayed in a House that old, go for that Experience and plan enough Time to explore the fabulous Town and its Sights.

I was having breakfast with my family in the hotel today and the food was really good.
There is a juice press with fresh fruit, a wide range of spreads and all sorts of breads. The surroundings are also very nice and the staff is nice.

The Hotel is very good and especially the Breakfast! Rooms at the passage of the noise was located, however, very sensitive…

I was really good. The room booked was not to my liking, and made the thing, I have immediately changed. The staff were kind and I "ate well" to be in Austria.

First of all you have to say the location is perfect, right in the old town of Steyr. The first impression of me is that the Service is one of a top. The Suite had a relative I was clean and spacious. Conclusion: Good atmosphere, Nice rooms and in addition the location. Just perfect for tourists. Highly recommended.

In the centre of Steyr, good food without pretensions but with good raw materials. Service is very friendly. The T-BONE STEAK is not a cut… a star less this!

Every year I go on holiday in Steyr. When I'm in the centre, I always go to eat in this hotel/restaurant. Has both the kitchen to the paper, is self-service. Excellent price, and it is equally the eat.

Excellent Hotel! It was like staying at your grandparents house. Breakfast is excellent!

My Nana hurt herself during her visit to Austria and hotel Mader could not have done more to help her feel comfortable. I will recommend here for all future visitors to Steyr!

Abundant portions, wide choice, typical specialties make this restaurant, located in the Homonymous hotel, a place to spend a good evening in the company of friends or colleagues. I recommend it, especially I recommend the goulash or the Tafelspitz, typical Austrian dish.

Best House in Steyr! Very pleasant atmosphere.

Can't say enough good things about Landhotel Mader. You just have to experience it.

I have stayed at the Mader many times in the past. Rooms are rather traditional and I do not mean it in a bad way. Breakfast is excellent, so is the restaurant attached to the hotel. So far I have only encountered friendly staff :-)

Food was good average. The opening Hours are, however, very strictly observed, even if still a larger round, sits at the table.

Very beautiful, historic building. Wonderful Courtyard. Everything is nicely renovated. Very good food, great Breakfast buffet.

I think it is the best Hotel in Steyr.

The hotel Mader in the middle of the old town of Steyr makes a very good impression. The rooms are clean, comfortable and attractively decorated, there is free Wi-Fi and extensive breakfast is something for every taste.
In the evening, you can, visit the bar with cosy chairs and music depending on your preference, in the restaurant with a good bourgeois cuisine or for younger guests.
The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the many historic buildings of Steyr. For guests with a car, a garage parking space can be rented.
Is detrimental for the rooms but they are quite thin depending on the situation, and thus sometimes some noise may be heard from the room neighbours.

The best choice in Steyr, no matter if you look for a good restaurant with tasty food and very friendly service or a place to spend a few days in a traditional but simultaneously elegant city hotel. The new designed bar is also very stylish and inviting.
