Great location near old town. However… For dinner our water glass was broken. I had to ask for a drink several times. It finally came half way through our meal. The meal was very bland tasting. The hotel bed had some hairs on one pillow and some small object was stuck on the other pillow. There is no soap to wash your hands. The TV didn't work and when we called the desk to get assistance they said to call back in 20 minutes. Also, the bathroom sink continually dripped.

We were passing by and on Booking. Com we found this structure. We arrived at 21:00 and the kitchen was already closed, we went up to the room to lay your bags and… When we got out of the elevator there was a crazy stench, the carpet was protruding, full of stains and the hallways were endless. Arriving in the room the stench was even more, the walls with barrels and stripes and the bathroom door was horrible. We got off and asked if we could put the car in the hotel parking lot and they said no because it was full… after dinner, bedtime, we lift the blankets and find lots of hair and strands… at this point we didn't trust to walk barefoot and put our heads on the pillow and we had to put a dress on it. The price compared to Booking's. Com rises by at least. 50

A lovely hotel to complete our holiday in Austria. We were given a spacious room, and really enjoyed the spa and pool area. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality with a lot of choice. The hotel is close to the station and the city centre.

This hotel is centrally located and with posh interiors. Rooms are spacious, well appointed and clean. We had very delicious Indian food for dinner as well as for breakfast. The Indian chef was very enthusiastic and took personal care. The staff were courteous.

Decent hotel: nice rooms, view of a beautiful church, but some staff were not friendly.

A good, tidy hotel in the city centre of Innsbruck. The breakfast was good and the rooms completely ok, bathrooms nicely renovated. The hairdryer was broken. The garage was very small and we couldn't park there. We were very satisfied with the friendly service at the reception and the excellent location in the city.

Very good experience. Two nights stay very pleasant. Very well located in Innsbruck.

Hotel made a very chic and clean Impression on me.
Parking Is limited unfortunately … Too little in the Hotel Underground Car park … We had to park 5 Minutes from the Hotel (which went and wasn't too bad).
However, if you want to have breakfast 1h before the End of Breakfast, you will unfortunately be disappointed with the Selection and attention of The Staff … I wanted to have breakfast 2x 1h before the End and unfortunately I didn't have the full Selection at the Buffet on both Days and far and wide no Employee cared and the Friendliness unfortunately left something to be desired.
Otherwise, however, everything OK and Rooms also fit in size, the Location of the Hotel is great.

Clean. Friendly staff. Great buffet breakfast. Aircon and safe. Nothing provided in rooms to make tea/coffee.

Nice location, rooms were clean and personal was friendly. I enjoyed the Waterloo outside and appreciated help of personal with booking of skiing equipment and organisation of bus to ski resorts.

Good hotel but unfortunately the dinner has no big choice. So where we were in Alphof or Linderhof as well as Faljensteinerhotels.

The website describes Grauer Baer as a Four-Star Hotel. The public areas were nice and looked like they had been recently upgraded. Grauer Baer Hotel is an attractive looking hotel near the University and the city center and popular with tour groups and skiers. It was crowded with another tour group when we checked in. We were somewhat disappointed with the small cramped room. It was raining that night, so the room was stuffy, and we had the window open. Our room was on the second floor and fronted on the street across from a university building, so we heard street noise. The front desk staff was less than pleasant, and not helpful. The beds were quite hard, and the pillows under-filled. The Bathroom fan could not be shut off and was very noisy and the room was poorly and inconveniently lit. Somehow, I had expected more from what claimed to be a four-star hotel. Breakfast was generous and tasty the next morning, and the dining room had two tour groups, so it was crowded. The restaurant required reservations and the diners were more dressed up than we could be, so we felt like we should eat elsewhere.

Hotel for customers booked, super service, nice rooms, great spa on the top floor.

Good location, great breakfast.

Walking distance from the centre of Innsbruck. After a day of discovering the city, it is nice to take refuge at the small Spa of the hotel.

Noisy (heating system and phonic insulation average) rather clean (found last flush forgotten) welcoming. Gorgeous breackfast.

In brief: positive: — the location is good, right on the old town.
— the staff is friendly.
— The spa area is really nice.
— The breakfast is great.
Negative: — The high parking fees I found frightening (14. — per day).
— in the room cleanliness did not seem to be a core competence. The carpet looked as if it hadn't been sucked for a long time. Despite frequent airing it always smelled uncomfortable and musty in the room, even in the hallway.
— Perhaps you should also just think about buying new vacuum cleaners.
— The entrance area would also do a new carpet well. Looks a bit used for a four star hotel.

We've been driving in the grey bear for many years. Nice hotel. Centrally located. Delicious food. Ideal starting point for skiing in the area. Underground parking very convenient. Sauna and swimming pool with magnificent views. Very nice staff.

We had a great clean room! It was quiet, the location top, the staff super friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the service uncomplicated and excellent. I really liked the hotel and I would recommend it to anyone!

Great Hotel, nice roof top whirlpool, good food and breakfast, spacious rooms. Downside: still being smoked in the bar, smell of smoke in the room. Construction work ongoimg at the moment, starts at 7:30am sharp.

This was the most beautiful hotel we stayd at in Innsbruck, the rooms were huge! beautiful view of the mountain from the room and from the restaurant! service was great and everyone was really friendly! Loved this place!

Great hotel and located close to the souvenir shops. Very good clean and helpful. They have restaurant and bar in the low silver. They have modern fireplaces and customer services. All modern and refurbished. It's a hotel in conditions.

Beautiful setting on the 12th floor of a modern building in the centre of Innsbruck. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Live music. Great for a drink but you can also dine. The whole thing is at a fairly high level, so also the bill.

Hotel very little recommended, the staff unfriendly, the rooms of psychosis, only saves that is central but if you can find another option.

The spa on the roof top was lovely! The bar and bar man were fantastic also. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and location of this hotel. Little disappointed in the massage and some of the wellness centre being closed and wasn't told at the time of booking. But overall good hotel, very popular.

Great location near the old town. Just walkable distance to the golden roof and don't miss the cathedral near by. It may not look much from outside but beautiful inside.

4-star hotel in the city centre, the swimming pool is the whirlpool on the rooftops of Innsbruck are fantastic. Super Breakfast!

I have stayed here a couple of times when in Innsbruck and both times have had a lovely stay. The first time I was upgraded to a suite and the second time my double room had an amazing view of the mountains from the bed. The top floor roof swimming pool is great and the jacuzzi when not too busy is a nice touch outside on the top floor. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in the trips around Europe and will never forget the amazing variety.

Very good value for money! Very good services! Jacuzzi pool, very comfortable rooms! Hearty meal! The bar is very nice and the staff at the small care.

On our way to the hotel, our tour director called ahead and arranged, with the hotel staff, to have an ambulance there, waiting for our arrival to take me to hospital for medical treatment after my fall earlier in the day which resulted in 5 broken ribs. We had spent many hours in Innsbruck hospital, but on arrival back to the hotel, the staff had all our accommodation and food prearranged. The hotel provided us with a very late meal as well as arranging a spacious room to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It was very unfortunate that I could not enjoy our stay in this fantastic place. Hope to return in one piece next time… thanks to all for your kind hospitality.

Was a lovely stay for a skiing trip. The hotel, reception, some staff, rooms, breakfast areas were clean and tidy and friendly. The hot tub, pool and gym was very small so wouldn't like to see in busier times. The bar was full of people smoking which wasn't pleasant when wanting a nice quiet drink and a relax and when we tried to open the door the bar staff kept closing it.

We just checked out of here. The location and views were great but unfortunately it ends there. The room was stuffy and AC was terrible. The breakfast buffet was so disorganized we could not even sit. There were no tables available and half the restaurant area was closed off. The milk and juice were empty and stayed that way. The coffee which was single serve self serve was crowded and difficult to get to. While waiting to order an omelette the chef started to make scrambled eggs for the buffet stopping the flow of the line. When we asked for a manager we were asked if we had an appointment. Then told he was not available for 15 minutes. When we checked out the desk clerk did not even ask how our stay was. Not what I expected from what was supposed to be a five star hotel.

Very central, good food, quiet in the night. The family room is huge and the whirlpool on the roof is great! The hotel bar is also very nice.

Hotel Grauer Bar looks nicer on the website… The hotel staff were very nice and the location is very central, but the food was below average — especially the evening buffet. In addition, the Hotel Grauer Bar is located directly next to university campus with a number of university bars located within a few meters of the hotel which led to load music and university students partying till 5:00am most nights. In conclusion, I would not recommend the Hotel Grauer Bar.
