Great treatment, friendly and professional staff, superb kitchen, comfort in the room.

Was only one night, an E5 night, bed was very cozy :)

We came as hikers on the way to South Tyrol and made a night stop here. The mountain hotel is nicely furnished and the rooms renovated and equipped with the main accesoires. Particularly noteworthy was the fantastic and super inexpensive dinner in the half board. The landlady was concerned about each guest and his needs. We felt very comfortable and will be back again. Highly recommended.

Price/performance great. Nice hosts and very good food. Breakfast was also very good. Room clean and large enough.

Were already more often in vent and are always surprised again. The décor is great, not too quaint, not too modern. Very nice rooms and most of all the bathroom did it to me. As in other locations in vent, the Sellingpoint is the friendly staff and the food. Family Gstrein and its associated mountain Hotel I can recommend to anyone who wants to spend in vent his holiday.

Very family run hotel with good value for money in the village vent. Half board with a rich and delicious menu. In winter a good and quiet alternative to the (expensive) Sölden, connected by ski bus. Beautiful base for mountain hikes in summer.

I've probably stayed here 25 times over the last 15 years and will hopefully continue to do so for many years to come. Hannes and Martina are excellent hosts and they made me feel at home here from day one.

The bartender makes a great beer; as he Chopstick ubd cooks, the hostess, welcomed us with her extrovert Smile gleicv.

I maybe stayed 40 times at this location and I saw it growing over the years from a gasthof to a 3-stars hotel. It was always a pleasure staying at this location: meeting the family, enjoying a rich breakfast, having a nice served beer at the bar after hiking or skiing, enjoying the evening diner. All plates, from starter until desert, always prepared very taste full and with a special attention to the presentation. It is indeed an old building but a building with a special architecture and part of the history of Vent. But only the looks of it is old, inside there are very comfortable rooms with everything you need and not to forget a sauna. What also is special for me: the owners managed to keep the atmosphere of the old days in the dining room and the bar. When you stay there for skiing, you have a drying room availalbe. When you stay there for hiking, the owners can give you all the necessary information concerning the huts, the best way to reach them, the summits you can reach, the current conditions. Staying at Vent and not staying at this hotel should be a mistake…

We have been here for 15 years, very friendly, very good food, good dry room for skiing, nice rooms… feels like a family. Hopefully we can still go 15 years, after the family Gstrein!

The owner Martina is nice and friendly but unfortunately that's all positive we can say about this hotel. The hotel is very old and poor equipped. Bad smell in the lobby on the way to dining area. It was quite cold in our room, because of a weak heating and untight wooden doors to the balcony. Also there is no radiator in the bathroom and it was complicated to dry our wet gloves, helmets and socks after skiing. The ski and boots drying room also is not available in the hotel, so we needed to stay them for drying in ski depot in Solden for additional cost. The breakfast was ok, but the home made food for dinner was unsavory and we did not wanted to have it second time, we went to other nearby hotels for dinner. So it was our mistake by choosing this hotel for our skiing holiday.

We felt comfortable at the Berghotel Gstrein! Not only the evening 5-course menu, the packed lunch and the magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains have contributed to this, but the warm hospitality is particularly noteworthy. We were there for the 3rd time and we will be back :)
