Very nice hotel, great rooms, great breakfast, very good food. Only the in-house meadow beach is far too small. Tlw. The umbrellas were defective and the loungers are uncomfortable. Also, there is no changing room.

We were able to spend wonderful days in this great hotel. Rooms and food at its finest. Location Topp, directly on the lake, good accessibility, just a few km to the Pyramidenkogel the highlight of Carinthia. We experienced the sunset on this 100 m high observation tower high above the beautiful Wörthersee, simply fantastic. Many other beautiful excursion destination in the surrounding area.
Absolutely recommended for what is offered absolutely cheap.
We'll be back!

Nice experience, very nice hotel concierge.
Apartment for 3 people comfortable and clean, in 5 minutes we were on the beach reserved by the swimming lake but not very clean.
I would go again anyway.

Nice family hotel with good kitchen near camp and water.

Enough space in the dining room so you don't feel harassed by other guests. No more Wi-Fi reception at the apartments, which are also a little further away from the lake/beach than the hotel itself (opposite side of the street up the hill). Otherwise everything is friendly and suitable according to the price range.

We just spent 3 days in Sonnenhotel Hafnersee. It was very pleasant. Hotel is right on the street. But it is still very quiet there. Advantage: You don't need to look long, drive back and forth. The hotel offers many parking spaces, right in front of the hotel, but also a little further.
Very nice reception at the reception. Whole staff were friendly and helpful.
Rooms clean, just like bathroom. Bed linen smells fresh and has a welcoming effect.
We had rooms with new furniture, it seemed as if that had been renovated a short time ago.
Breakfast with all you need: Fresh fruits, vegetables, cakes, sausages, cheese, eggs and and so on.
! Important for coffee drinkers! There is no coffee car office. Coffee is served in thermos on the table — always fresh, always hot.
Which surprised me very positively: Cola — machine on the first floor. It was cheaper than getting a Coke from Bar.
Next plus points for party cellars! Table tennis, billiards, footbacks, flippers and also a bowling alley. Bowling alley costs 6 euros per hour, the other stuff 1 euro. There is also a sauna and hot tub. These are really great opportunities in the rain. Not only will adults have fun there, but also bigger kids and teenagers.
Nearby there is super meadow, playground, lake, all 2 minutes from hotel.
I am very satisfied with my stay at Sonnenhotel Hafnersee. We didn't pay much and got good food for it, nice people and nice vistas from windows.

For small children not suitable. No game room, outdated Playground. If little guests in the Hotel, small Breakfast buffet, without grain pointed or Crescent/Croissant. Many group journeys or seminar guests. Positive is the friendly staff.

The hotel is located just 200 metres away from the Hafnersee. The staff is very friendly, especially the waitresses at the restaurant.
The room as well as the hotel overall were very clean.
The breakfast buffet was quite plentiful. For the evening buffet I forgive 4 stars. It was rich, tasty and it was continuously redefined. Class wine selection.
The hotel boasts a location only 200 meters from the Hafnersee lake. The staff is very friendly, especially the waiters in the restaurant.

Hotel is ok attention when booking if you book as a seminar participant, you will be charged much more for the overnight stay as stated on the homepage. If you complain to this at the reception you will be extremely rudely rejected.

Good structure with hotel rooms but also from self-contained apartments. Possibility of breakfast even if you are staying in the apartments (€13). Breakfast buffet quite varied. Frequented mostly by elderly people. If you check the prices you can find good deals. Clean and newly built apartments. Convenient to visit the nearby towns.

Enough experience, absolutely to improve.

Decent clean rooms. Nice bright and friendly. Unfortunately the room fridge was warm.

We rented a large apartment for three nights, four adults (Friday/Saturday/Sunday). This one was spacious and the bedding correct. The cleanliness of the bathroom was a bit limited with a permanent unpleasant odor in the toilet. On Saturday morning there was no current in the bathroom and therefore no hot water. The phone and the Wi-Fi were not working. We warned the front desk but all we no one came to see. On Monday morning at 8:00 (date of our departure) A nice gentleman came, he opened the fuse box and raised a differential jumped! Repair: 15 seconds. During the We, after instance, we were able to take our showers to the gym (300 m from the room). Breakfast included copious but medium to good quality (7/10). In short: This hotel has huge potential but lack of competent and efficient staff at the front desk. Rudimentary knowledge of English. A very small effort and it (re) would easily become a 5 star. (Price +/— €450 for 3 nights).

Solid basic hotel. Breakfast is ok. Room are ok. No A/C in room. Can get hot on summer nights. Gym is underwhelming. 150 yards from Hafnersee Lake. About 20min driving from Klagenfurt.

New test may 2015
New management partially renovated look but the hotel should be given a chance. Staff very kind and friendly.
