My First time I am.
Having summer holidays in the mountains and it is amazing. Great location of the hotel right next to gondola that you can use as much as you want to go higher. Accessible by road, vicinity of the river for family rafting, biking, hiking, kids playgrounds all over the mountain. Friendly staff, variety of dishes during meals. Amazing spa and daily activity programs. Special deal for Falkensteiner guests: Carinthian discount card and free entrance to golf course! I would come back during winter as well.

The hotel is nice, but kept bad. Beige carpet all stained and dirty on the floors and walls that would really need a repainted. Breakfast ok, low quality dinner. I recommend half-board, there are trattorias near the hotel within walking distance where you eat best. Nice pool.

Great location, an ovovia outside the door that allows you to walk all the mountains in front of the Hotel.
Good cleanliness, staff available only flaw, considering that mostly guests are Italian… I would do a course accelerated basic language to some receptionists and waiters.
And a cooking class to the cook because the pasta is hot, without salt, reproposed I think the day after. Insipipide vegetables etc. It's a bit the Achilles heel of this wonderful place.

Stayed here from Friday till Sunday and got it as a gift. At first we were like, why would anyone pay +-200 euros for a night in here (because the rooms are nice, but not worth that much) but then we discovered that food, spa and basically everything was already included. :) So yeah… defenitely worth the price. The food was good (although I don't like the fact of queuing for food). The rooms were clean but a little worn (stains in carpet) and our balcony door didn't close. This was repaired quickly after telling the staff. Spa is awesome, many amenities and just a very nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly but not too knowledgable (e. G. They couldn't tell me anything about the wine). Due to the bad weather we mostly spend the day in the hotel or in the spa. But the surroundings seemed amazing for outdoor activities. Just a little too many families with screaming kids over the place. Not my type of thing. Other than that, we had a super nice stay! :) — edit: typos corrected.

Great Wellness hotel for summer holidays. Lot's of stuff to do in the region.

Nice hotel. Rooms are clean, food is delicious, wellnes is above standard. Rooms are nice equiped, but little bit dark — I would put there some more lights. There were two little negatives, we found during our visit. The first one was long waiting time in restaurant during diner time in first 3 days of our visit. We were quite upset about it, so we decidet to tell about that to waiter. After doing this, everything turned better and we hadn't problem anymore. The second thing, that we didn't like, were short openning hours of pool (closing at 19:00) and wellnes (closing 21:00), so there was no chance to relax there at the evening, after diner. In conclusion, hotel is well equipped and very modern. But there is still place for improvement especially in wellness zone.

Great saune area, large room and always tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also seen
that was early summer season also the price was really competitive and satisfying.
Moreover, on the weekend there was also a

Unfortunately, I also have to get rid of my annoyance here today. Having apologised in good form this morning for the not so good service we had the night before, I was in good spirits and excited for dinner today. As a starter there should be spinach mousse with tuna, served to us instead of tuna, Jacobs mussel. Without informing us, the appetizer was served. Ignorant but already skeptical about the appearance, I tried it anyway. If you like and tolerate Jacobs mussels, okay, but I don't. My appetite had already diminished significantly after that. The poor apprentice who had served us was also unaware of the change of the cook, but had to take the blame on behalf of the cook. Then the main course should come. We had chosen the Maishendlbrust. The nice Azubine came back to our table to let us know that this is out and that we can only be offered a chicken breast of nature. Okay, we decided to do it. Again we had to wait, because this should be freshly prepared. I would like to say that we were at dinner shortly after eight o'clock. At 9.15 a. M. Came the main course. The chicken breast unfortunately inedible, slightly raw in the middle, of consistency like rubber. We had lost our appetite and I was very sorry for the Azubine, who apologized a thousand times. I would have expected a professional appearance from the chef or chef here, and not the poor apprentice who is least able to do so. I hope the little one can sleep well tonight.

I don't think it's that bad here… Except for the service in the SPA area :Have a member of staff pointed out today that a leg press needs something oil in the gym… Uhhhh The Friendly Lord looked at me funny and muttered something in the beard! (House technology was NOT on site in the following 40 min… The whole thing was around 1400h) let's see if it's fixed tomorrow? Now for dinner… It's my opinion that I'm writing here… We are the 3 evening on site and it is the second evening a'la Carde Food… Around 2000h is not re-enacted with the appetizers and there are no cups and saucers with the soups! On the note that the parsley is missing from the soup… The answer jaaaa… Equal…! And the not so friendly lady has nicely arranged the little bowls with the greeting of the kitchen like a dice player and the great chef has looked at it Now to the food… Long waiting times between the aisles of 20 min. Is sentence… Then the statement… it stalls in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the portion for my taste is very small. Today the trout that was really little… as the main course. And the snack from 1530h is ALWAYS (Sorry until now) lettuce, corn, carrots. Iceberg salad & dressing What is always completely wrong in the middle posting… so that you have to go back to the middle of the buffet with your plate and everything looks at you Oh yes the soup with the rubber buns I have forgotten. And the desserts These are all things that can be fixed…

Stayed here last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. This year we upgraded to a suite but were disappointed with quality of the furnishings. Carpet was full of stains and patio chairs were torn. Housekeeping was a bit rubbish too. However, it's pretty good value with the potentially 6 course evening meal and unlimited golf. Unfortunately you also have to put up with noisy kids in the dining room.

Very nice Rooms, great Spa Area and very very good Food. The Staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
At the Bar we unfortunately had to wait a little longer in the Evening, too many Guests for two Waiters.
All in all, however, a wonderful Long weekend.

Spa Area is very nice and clean. However, it would be great if you would also find Tea and Towels here.
Which was a great pity that the Staff are very friendly and anxious. Unfortunately, however, they are totally understaffed in the Bar area after Dinner. Had to wait for our Drinks almost a Three-quarters Of An Hour. The Rooms are beautiful. The Bathroom is a Dream. The Beds unfortunately far too soft. The Carpet unfortunately very dirty overall a very pleasant and nice Holiday, but nevertheless you have the Feeling That the Value For Money does not quite fit. But all Criticism at a high Level.

The service is really excellent! I didn't complain about the room. The hotel is a dream and the area super beautiful, there is a lot to discover. The rooms, however, are so gloomy and the carpeting should be best out, it vagitosis very much in the room —. — We had continuous patio door and windows open. In the 21st century. In my opinion, no hotels should be equipped with carpets. Apart from the room we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Wellness and Sports offer, poll facility, food, reception just everything top!

The hotel offers a very nice and close to the slopes.
* The staff is very freuntlich and helpful.
* The Welnesbereich is very nice and big * The water in the swimming pool could be a little warmer (can also be that it happened to me only therefore rather cold, because in my opinion the hotel is strongly heated in the bool area and thus the water automatically colder Affects.

Great hotel in a good location to the ski lift. The spa area is also very nice. The hotel is 150m away from the gondola lift. The food was also great and varied. The staff is very child friendly. We felt very comfortable and we recovered well.

Always great… shame about the food… little choice for vegetarians…

We have been to the Falkensteiner Carinzia a few times.
Room Nice staff friendly spa area OK main dish horrible, tasteless.
But it is described as sounding. Eg a normal potato is announced as a potato praline the tables in the restaurants much too close together, do not allow privacy.
The direct location of the ski resort and the beautiful slopes are positive.

Was certainly a top location, had everything for five stars, nice sunny ☀ location, enough parking, right on the ski slope, very nice spa with sauna, steam bath, heated outdoor pool and pool, really all very nice! Somehow it happens to be a bit of a living, price/performance is not quite right.

As always a great stay with very tasty food. Wellness Area 1a.

We have been in this hotel for a few years, last 2 weeks, and were always very satisfied. Very good food, friendly staff, great spa area and right next to the gondola. Looking forward to the next holiday in March.

Beautifully laid out. Restaurants, bars, spa etc. Staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms nicely renovated, old televisions (bring your laptop) Free Wi-Fi is fast and unrestricted (other than 2 hour intervals, which are unlimited-so just log back on)

Very large SPA, ditto for indoor and outdoor pools. Very clean Spacious rooms, comfortable bathrooms. Special mention to the catering service, excellent, varied and well organized both in the buffet formula and in the table service. For ski lovers, ideal location front lifts, possibility of rental equipment in the hotel. Hotel recommended to everyone!

Very nice hotel! The architecture of the rooms and the lobby is breathtaking. You feel right at ease. The staff are nice and very helpful. Food also tasted perfect and the buffet was beautifully prepared. The spa area was the most beautiful in the evening; Candle light with many different pools and saunas. Perfect for switching off. The "Millenium" ski lift is right next to the hotel. Top Hotel!

Starting from the fact that they give you the possibility to take a swim in a huge heated outdoor pool while it snows, and see the ski pistes, which was absolutely fantastic and all for me the rest goes into the second floor. But the hotel really deserves 4 stars, because it is clean, the rooms are big and warm, the reception was professional and friendly, the Spa area is huge and the staff is always at your service with towels and whatnot. The only thing that wowed me so much was the kitchen, but it was not bad. Excellent quality / price ratio.

In general is fine, the staff is kind and willing to help. The room was fine but a little bit far from elevator, pool and the restaurant. If you have this room you don't need to use the fitness facilities:) Be careful about the.

The service was outstanding. However, lack of waiters on the outer terrace and in general staff around the hotel. Great number of the guests in the wellness zone reserved the beds with their towels though they weren't present in the relaxing room. No one to control them. Stunningly decorated and immaculate sauna facility. The food was more than just the taste!

The hotel very nice… The x Room The dinner every day was full of flies… even a dead one placed in the back of the sofas in which we ate… he accompanied US x 2 days without anyone taking it away… The service at the tables slow… The eating was not the maximum O. For the rest the hotel deserves a visit…

Very cosy with great wellness and luxurious rooms!

The ambience and facilities of the hotel correspond to the four-star category. It's fantastic. Breakfast and dinner are tasty and the dishes are delicious. The choice of food and drinks is also excellent. Hotel and all rooms are very clean. The service staff sometimes seems overwhelmed, but requests and orders are fulfilled. I like to go to Carinzia! Another small wish as a beer lover I would also wish for German beer Nothing against the Gösser, but the bar, which I also know Bavaria and Hesse, unfortunately hangs very high.

I have only been to wellness. Beautiful and clean one. Silent and quiet environment. Outdoor pool and sauna.

We had a very good time at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast and dinner were excellent, the staff was very friendly and the spa was very relaxing. Even if you travel with children this hotel is a great choice, there is a children's playground and a special children's pool.

We particularly liked the attractive architecture and ambiance. Late night swimming at full moon night was a nice experience.
The loose but very pleasant mood with honest hospitality has convinced us.
The SPA is very versatile and inviting.

If you would like to experience first class wellness Carinzia must go in the hotel and Spa. Alone the nature around this hotel makes one feel totally relaxed.
The Acquapura Spa leaves nothing to be desired. It includes an indoor — and outdoor heated pool, sauna area with Carinthian block sauna, sanarium Gailtal and much more. Of course, there are also pampering including massage, cosmetics, baths and wraps. For the romantics among us, you can use the private Spa Suite for two.
