Clean and maintained rooms with quality fittings including comfortable firm mattresses. The rooms are quiet and tastefully decorated. The showers have plenty of hot water with consistent temperature delivery. The towels are absorbent and soft. The toiletry items are of high quality and have a pleasant and subtle fragrance. Room service is delicious, fast and good value. The staff are polite and attentive. I highly recommend this establishment.

Excellent staff, friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, well presented, and bed was very comfortable. Good facilities but a little out dated. Beautiful views and beach side parks, eateries and bars are only a walk away and are great for couple or family time. Would love to return, enjoyed my 1 night stay, 22.08.18.

Needed one night before leaving Perth. Pros: Super clean. Comfy beds and pillows. Right on the beach. Cons: The night club 20 floors down closes at midnight. And the crowd knows the words to every song. No soundproofing you can hear everything in and out. Which means my neighbors can probably hear me talking to myself. Whoops! $15 to park and credit card surcharge. Not ideal for an inexpensive quick night, but if you can get past all of that, super cool.

The cost of parking at the hotel is $15 a day but there is a Wilson parking right next door for $5 a day instead. There a lot of options in terms of restaurants on the first floor, I think the place is a very good value in terms of experience that you get for the price. And also there is a complimentary breakfast included which was outstanding.

Don't bother staying here spend your money elsewhere. Still completely old and run down hotel with little amenities. If it weren't for the amazing Scarborough revamp and public heated pool there's nothing to keep the kids entertained. Don't bother staying in winter. The sun was shining but the pool area was completely closed up and absolutely freezing! Don't believe the hotel — the spa is not heated and the pool was like ice so unless it's hot outside you won't get one bit of use out of the pool area. The 'games room' is pretty lame and has nothing to entertain the younger ones. Rooms tidy but very small and still feel old. Overall wouldn't stay there again even after another 15 years.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and comfortable room. The only complaint was loud, booming music coming from in or near the hotel that only stopped at 12pm. Stuck with a grumpy and tired 2 year old the next morning wasn't the greatest.

Great location and the brekkie was grea too.

Started with a platter and drinks in straits which was lovely then checked in at reception were we recieved awesome service and the room on 24th floor with a view of the ocean was beautiful and clean, topped of with Ketut looking after us on the 25th floor in the club lounge, breakfast was amazing we will defiately be back. Thanks to all the staff that made our experience so good.

I only stayed for an evening, but I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! The room itself (a king deluxe) was so spacious and the bed incredibly comfortable, I haven’t had such a good sleep in a hotel in a long time! The pool was so beautiful on a warm Sunday, and the buffet breakfast was so filling, and the pancake machine was surprisingly delicious in the pancakes it produced! This has now become my favourite hotel in Perth!

My daughter just had her wedding reception there 3 jun 2018… the venue was excellent. The staff was always on top of things. Great service. Food was excellent. And what a view. 10. /10 points value for money.!

Great size room over looking the ocean and all the amenities you would expect, except a toothbrush. The restaurant was top quality with a great selection of dishes. It would be nice to offer the children a slightly more varied menu, nothing wrong it but think they could do better considering the main menu.

Must be the worst room in the place for my family. Bathroom in very poor condition. Grout moldy. We did not even use it as it was so disgusting. Our room was overlooking a petrol station and people in the pool area could see straight into our room so we had to keep our curtains shut the whole time. I would expect a lot more for a so called $400 a night room (standard rate). There is A LOT better in Perth.

This over priced hotel needs a lot of work to be done in so many different ways. For example the bar staff need training in how to charge a drink to a hotel room. The Concierge staff did not speak English. The house keeping staff did not have the extra bed placed in the room prior to our check in. When I made a comment to the staff it still took a few hours to arrive. Extra towels, extra cups, extra glasses did not arrive with the bed. The toilet, the TV and the cupboard door in the room were all faulty. The room service was great. Yummy, hot and fair priced. The view from the balcony is great. This place was not worth the money we spent. I am sure there is a lot of cheaper places which will provide a lot better value for money.

The hotel is rundown and aged. You think with all the new developments they would do some upgrades. And I think the rooms are overly priced especially compared to other hotels in surrounding areas.

I was here for a function with 900 people. It was great, staff were accommodating. Amazing view from the balcony. There is a range of restraint both in the hotel and around it. I would definitely come back again.

Room was double paid due to hotel error. For me, it borders on fraud.

Unfortunately nothing appears to have changed in many years. On our last years ago, the bathroom ceiling collapsed in the middle of the night. We were given a room change but no other compensation despite many emails. Now this weekend, we ordered breakfast in the room for two. Coffee in takeaway cups. No sugar. No spoons. Two poached eggs, one yoke missing the other wasn't cooked. One napkin. One salt/pepper sachet. Also the food at the convention we attended was close to frozen. The sunset was amazing.

Hotel is a bit run down and could use a revamp. The poolside bar has limited drink options and the hotel charges patrons extra if you want an omelette for breakfast. Location is good and had a number of great surrounding food and drinks options.

The suites were large which was good, with beautiful views of the beach, but when we asked for champagne glasses for the room (which features an empty and dysfunctional kitchenette) they wanted to charge us $ — stating that the staff have to walk up and down the building! Ha! It’s a hotel honey — that’s what you do! Strange attitude or approach to running one of the main hotels here in Perth. This place could be an absolute success but it’s a whole Lot of concrete and carpet. Breakfast was terrible — over cooked scrambled eggs with half a kilo of bacon on the side, a couple pieces of dry sandwich bread — the kind you get from supermarkets. Really basic and unhealthy with nothing fresh on the plate.

Don't forget to check that you haven't left anything behind, when you check out! We forgot to remove our expensive champagne. When I called the hotel I was told that nothing was found by the room cleaner when she cleaned the fridge. Really? I question now the integrity of the workers employed by the Rendezvous Hotel. Start please, with the management investigating the honesty of staff members, conducting effective security checks on housekeeping staff, following a genuine complaint by the customer with a genuine desire to improve customer service.

Always enjoy staying here, however had a shared platter recently was very nice but on using the restroom / toilet, noticed they had been renovated sometime ago and done on the cheap ie painted tiles and grout which was showing signs of wear. Would be nice if the owners could bring the whole place up to current world standards.

Good hotel right on very busy beach with lots of bars and restaurants. Room nice with sea view, parking garage for a fee and good hotel restaurant with good wine selection, bar. Good pool and gym, as well as coin-operated washing machines. Actually everything you need as a traveller and not far to Perth and Fremantle beaches.

Room was excellent. Public toilets Clean but badly need makeover. Was there for wedding and reception. Staff very good. Had problems at reception over hotel parking, ended up paying twice and verification cards still would not open boom gates, quite annoying. Overall glad to have stayed, notwithstanding a few annoying bugs.

We had a discount voucher that made it very affordable but we found the cost of food and drinks in and around the hotel also very affordable for this level of hotel. Also good value and selection of restaurants near to the hotel within minutes walk if you want to dine out. Loved it.

Was there for Le Reve Consultant Rally in one of there meeting rooms over looking the beach. We parked under the hotel so easy access. We got looked after by one of their lovely staff members. All staff very helpful. Lovely venue. AWESOME sunset and facility.

A challenge to get in to the parking area but lots of space if you persevere, and lovely staff making a pleasant visit. It will be great when the street upgrades are finished.

Food was very good. Great atmosphere. Wait staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

Great location, clean and well maintained room. Breakfast buffet is well stocked with plenty of your regular items. Staff are always courteous and friendly.

Nice clean comfy rooms, good location just off the beach. A couple of good bars within the hotel. Food prices too high for what it is but other option close by They charge for parking but there seems to be plenty of street parking on the beach side just out front the hotel.

Beautiful views from the room with the Scarborough beach and Perth horizon widespread before your eyes. Rooms were comfortable and staff was accommodating. Facilitated us with late check out. I wish the construction of the public beach site completes fast as it was a bit of an inconvenience to the beautiful beach view.

Such a landmark building in Perth visible from a long way up or down the coast it offers cheap rooms right thru to huge multi room suites and also good for functions like weddings or corporate events. Great beach access and ocean views from the front rooms. Good restaurants and coffee right downstairs.

Lovely Hotel in a great location with views over the bay. Pleasant staff and beautiful lobby bar. Restaurant menu could offer more options. Definately recommended.

There for a seminar. Lunch and morning/afternoon tea supplied by Rendezvous. Highly recommended, food and seminar room fantastic. One star down due to issue with toilets on the day.

VERY friendly staff everywhere you go. Immaculate food, and one of the best associated spa/massage places in the state. We stayed 2 nights. Highly recommended.

Room has the standard complimentary tea and coffee as you would normally find in hotels. But my experience is that most hotels also seem to include hot chocolate and some even include a French press/ plunger for a proper coffee but this hotel didn't include either. Only a small thing but it can make enough of a difference for those that stay in hotels often enough and will immediately recognise what's missing. But view from the room was nice.

Awesome Hotel! Took my partner here for his birthday. When we got to our room we were surprised with a free bottle of red wine as a birthday gift. Stayed overnight in a King Room with access to Club Lounge situated on the 25 th floor over — looking the ocean. There you get 1.5 hours of free drinks and nibbles. The host Katoot never left our glasses empty so unsure how many I actually had. What a legend! The nibbles were good too. We had booked dinner at a Thai restaurant up the road but cancelled as the Club Lounge food filled us so no need to dine out. Then off to the bar downstairs in the lobby lounge. Jeremy the Barman was fantastic and served up some lovely cocktails. Room was perfect and bed comfy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Nothing at all to fault. Would definitely stay here again.

I was a volunteer at the Orchid Spectacular at Rendevous Hotel. We had a great time at the Spectacular but I found as a Volunteer, I could not find any place to eat a light lunch because the hotel did not inform Dome Coffee Lounge of the three events that were going on at the hotel on the same day, so they had to close their doors temporarily (just when I had taken my break) so I couldn't find any light refreshments. It took me about an hour before I was able to eat & drink anything.

Good room, good food. I asked room service for breakfast, but did not come on time, called three times to get it finally, only to find that it contained things which I could not eat. There was not enough time to have another one. Two weeks earlier, I had called to confirm my booking. They kept me on hold for so long and could not help. Upon arriving there was no booking so had to rebook.

Very good view to the ocean, close to beach, bars, and supermarket. However, the room service was not exactly high quality. We stayed for 5 nights and the glasses were not replaced over the first 3 days. I left a note and asked for clean ones. And guess what, surprisingly Scotch glasses were switched with bathroom glasses! I'm pretty sure as I knew stains of each glass.

Clean bright room with a view of these and coast as far as Fremantle. Car Parking overnight cost $15. The included breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered a wide range of choices. The dining room has a nice view of the beach. At present building work in Scarborough lessens the beauty of the shoreline and will for some time.

Location great. Timings not so good there is work being carried out on the beach front. Excellent pool area, and a good equipped gym. Close to supermarket, has wonderful views. Room a little tired but very clean. Bus at front door, takes you into CBD. Staff helpful.

Unprofessional. Unpleasant stay. Been asked to pay the amount twice which I had to do. Rude staff trying to justify that they did not have the paper work for the globe trotter booking made previously.

Fantastic service, the staff were really generous and accommodating. The room was a great size and very tidy. Breakfast was great with a very large selection. Look forward to visiting again.

Well started off nice until we went to the gym and pool. While we where out someone broke into our room and stole my purse off the bed hotel manager told us that there "wasnt much he could do there isnt any cameras or any way of anyone getting in our room". So your telling me either I stole my own purse or it grew legs … im not a high maintenance person but im sorry there was not alot of interest in trying to help us. Clearly it is possible for someone to do it because my purse is gone. What annoys me the most is that someone came into the room when we weren't there with the same key card number as us and upon checking our room keys we where asked how we got a card that had expired 3 days before we even checked in … answer would be you gave it to us. It is not acceptable enough to say there is no way of someone having the same room key as us and knowing that we where on a certain floor and theres not much you can do. Then today my partner gets a call from someone at hotel saying the same thing again not much we can do you must of checked into your room at 4:23. How many times do I need to explain went to gym at 3:40, partner was on tredmil for 1/2 hr and then trained maybe for 15.20 mins then we went to pool for about another hour so tell me how that gets us in our room at 4:20. Staff at frount desk and pool where lovely but clearly management need to improve their stolen goods policies. To anyone that goes its a nice hotel just keep your valuables hidden or in a safe.

I attended a seminar at the Rendezvous Hotel recently on the ground floor. I love the way the ground floor is set out, with information easily available and all amenities you may need — including cafe and bar. I was in one of the function rooms which is easily able to cater to over 300 people (very nice set up) and all in all I was impressed at the functionality of the hotel and the friendly staff that were able to provide assistance quickly and professionally.

The facilities are great and the room is lovely and clean but certain things were a let down like the spa was cold and the water tap in the gym is broken. Also free Wi-Fi is limited to 3 hours or 5 GB, whichever comes first. The service is average, desk staff didn't seem welcoming.

Beautiful hotel, right on the beach overlooking the water. There's amazing restaurants and everything all around. Highly recommended hotel for the area.

Stayed in a suite. Nice sized room with fantastic views of the coast line. Good selection of food and drinks at the top floor lounge although breakfast could use better quality ingredients. The gym and swimming pool are also of a decent quality.

Make sure if you have a car to include parking prices approx $15 per day. Very clean. No smoking, not good if you smoke, private balcony great veiw couldnt get better. Perfect place to stay near perth about 20 mins from freemantle and perth. Usually go to gold coast but this was a very nice change. No complaints about hotel. Can be a bit pricey if your not careful so pack your lunch and enjoy.

Great view of the beach, location is a little out if the way from the CBD, the rooms are a great size.

Stayed for 10 days excellent clean room. Top ocean views. Good facilties and the staff were helpful and cortex us. Will come back again.

We had a great wedding night at the hotel. Only issue is there was no vegan food at the hotel restaurant.

If you want good food, cheap beer and decent live music then this is the place for you (in Scarborough)

We finished our holiday in Perth here and loved it. We watched the sunset over the Indian Ocean every night with a nice glass of Western Australian wine and afterwards had dinner at the many restaurants near by. Surfing all morning with the surf school straight in front of the hotel on the grass, fish and chips at Peters by the Sea for lunch — didnt want to leave.

On the plus side, the hotel is right on the beach and the views are amazing. Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbours who kept banging the walls all night. The hotel is also pretty far from the CBD and Scarborough as an area didn't seem too nice. The balcony was nice and had great views but since there was no balcony furniture, it was a bit hard to enjoy it.

Very poor service initially gave us a room with one bed and did not have the second room setup room for three people, as per prior booking months ago, tried to get us to pay for three person surcharge twice instead of reading the booking correctly. Costs cutting to the point of Coffee and tea in room not being replenished when room was made up, credit card details and $100 deposit on arrival was strange. No housekeeper on shift Sunday nights, Recommend against staying.

We stayed here for 8 days recently. The staff were very helpful, the resteraunt was good and the location was the best. Great views from the observation deck. Yes it is in the upper end price wise, so one has to expext from a luxury beachfront hotel.

The best location of all places to stay in Scarborough, right on the corner in a central location opposite the beach. The staff were friendly, though service at the reception desk was slow at times. Lauren, who does the group bookings, was extremely helpful for our large group. Clean, comfortable rooms with great views across the water. Loved the pool, though it can get very windy up there.

Stayed at this hotel once for 18 nights in September 2013. Only stay here if you hate having money in your wallet. Costs are cut everywhere and they really squeeze you for money. To give you an idea, it is $8 for two weetbix (as in 2 weet bix bricks). Outrageous. The portions are that small, and the menu very limited. Housekeeping didn’t change our sheets for the first 10 days; we had to ask them to! On arrival, my Mastercard debit card wasn't accepted as a valid credit card, despite it functioning as one everywhere else, and so $200 was taken from me as a security deposit for the duration of the stay. Nothing is complementary; everything costs money, even getting an internet speed higher than 256kb/s. I couldn't sleep the first night because the bed only had one duvee, which made it too cold. We had to request another blanket. Even though the room was called King Deluxe, the bed itself was in fact two mattresses pushed together. They went out of their way to put a passcode on the TV so that DVD players and game consoles couldn’t be plugged in. This was so guests were forced to use their movie service. This was despite their telling me beforehand through email, quote, “It is possible to hook up Video game consoles with some changes to the setting on arrival done by the Maintenance department. ” After calling maintenance to the room, they told me without courtesy that this could not be done.

APPAULING! SERIOUS HOTEL FROM HELL! We stayed at this hotel as my partners 2013 Christmas party was being held there. The bedroom was NOT clean. How disgusting. I dropped an earring under the bed, and when he went to get it, he found an empty perfume bottle, and the amount of dust and debris was shocking. The bed seemed as if it was just straightened out, the sheets were not even put on the bed properly. We were seriously disgusted at how rude the staff at the desk was, on checking in, the receptionist had the gall to shout over my partners shoulder to another member of staff how 'last night was' and said 'heres the free drinks tokens' for whatever that meant. We had intended on complaining the next day, but we were in a hurry to meet people and the wait was horrendous. No joke. Never again. Overpriced by a mile. A motel of any description would have higher standards. We were shocked to say the least.
