What a lovely spot for families or anybody looking for accommodation close to the foreshore and centre of Mandurah. Heeeaaaps for the kids to do at Silver Sands! Pools, spas, tennis court and awesome playgrounds onsite. Right next to hotel for great food.

Extremely run down resort for time share guests. We forfeited our stay when they couldn't accommodate our number of guests as committed during booking. Whilst we understand the local fire regulations, there was really no need to threaten to evict us IN the event that we were caught with more than the regulated number of guests — especially when the fault was not ours to begin with.

Great place to stay great staff and services. Good tour's and more highly recommended.

Little bit old but very comfotable and close to all amenities needed.

Great location short walk to beach next to tavern with good but cheap meals easy drive to areas where can see dolphins very comfortable room beautiful looking pool but too cold to get into disappointing as pool was thing that most attracted me to this resort.

Consistently well maintained. A great family resort with all the trims. Good for short winter breaks too!

I always enjoy staying here witb family. Some of the facilities could use a bit of an update.

This resort is the best place for a relaxed holiday or just time away for a weekend.

Always love visiting Silver Sand Resort, pools are always clean and chemicals seem to always be correct, the games rooms, mini golf area, playground and tennis courts are always well kept. Shops are conveniently close and the beach is just a quick walk away.

Awesome… One of the best family friendly resorts still around and also great fun with friends…! We have a blast down here every time we've stayed, I've been coming here most of my life… It's been through a lot of changes throughout the years… Reasonably priced, the resort has a stunning pool area, hot tub, tennis courts, swimming pool, pool table, great modern villas, with as many rooms needed…! The resort is extremely clean with stunning gardens throughout… It's like waking up in Paradise every morning… I couldn't speak more highly of this brilliant Resort… The staff are extremely helpful… A Great Place… Highly recommended…!

Great place to stay and relax, or get busy if you want. Heaps of activities.

Rooms have washer and dryer, stove and refrigerator, shower, etc. Everything is clean and comfortable. We slept with the window open and enjoyed the birds each morning and night. The pool is very nice and includes a couple of hot tubs. There are activities planned each week and the staff is very friendly.

Sad to be leaving today, loved our stay the facilities were excellent, staff very polite & friendly nothing a problem. Pools are maintained well & very clean. Beautiful gardens well maintained & nice sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful flowers, trees & pool.

Awesome pool areas and extra activities like mini golf, squash, pool table and table tennis. Apartments are a good size with pretty modern decor. Only gripe would be the parking is so far from the entrance to apartments for after hours access.

Room 52 is the best. Great for kids. Perfect distance to beach.

Friendly bar attached to the resort and a bottlesjop. Good amount of parking. Has been there for many years.

Stayed for a week, the units were very clean, fresh with very comfy beds. Microwave and dishwasher made life easy. Reception staff were extremely polite and helpful and always smiling. Loved having the kitchen to do meals made it cheaper on food and the IGA store was in walking distance. Indoor pool was lovely and warm and the spa was Devine. And if there's time their little mini golf course is fun. Short walking distance to the beach for a spot of beach fishing or a ride on the scooter along the pathways. If you like a beer the taven is just next door. Driving to the Mandurah forshore for lunch was a short drive, 5 min, and the play ground was absolutely awesomeness (8yr words). If you are driving from the airport its about 30 min away and there is now a very speedy train service from Perth to Mandurah. The Mandurah forum is getting an upgrade (2017 to 2018) so finding parking can be stressful but what has been completed so far looks great. Love coming here in winter, there is still lots to do with less crowds or wait time. If you want to see dolphins then spring Sept/Oct is better.

The resort is ok, somewhat outdated but it is being renovated. The pool was out of action too. If we were in a renovated room it would have been better.

Wonderful rooms and facilities and owning a timeshare means I can come back every year for a great rest.

Love to come down to silver sands a meal at the pub and a stay at the resort.

Last week we had lunch at this hotel. I am a coeliac (this means no gluten, dairy, onion and much more). I have to mention what I can not have as it will poison me. The staff were very helpful, I asked for grilled fish, gluten free hot chips and salad. That is what I got and plenty of it. I did enjoy my meal with my partner their very much. For 2 large serves of food and two drinks of orange juice, a great value came under $50-00 the lot. A great deal I thought. Many of the seniors know what good value this place is and we see them on a regular visit. This hotel would be the best value in the Mandurah area. Have been coming here for almost 30 years as an annual family holiday. Been well maintained over that time. Great for relaxing around the pool.

Silver Sands Resort has long been our favourite destination for holidays. When our children were young, we never bothered leaving the resort. There was always plenty for them and us to do. The staff also have nearly always been friendly, and a great advertisement for the resort. Now that we are a little older, we enjoy 'escaping' to SSR. Even when filled to capacity, its design makes us feel as if we have all the facilities to ourselves. We also appreciate the forward thinking of the committee. It has been in existence for nearly 30 years, but it always looks and feels modern. Plans to improve utility have brought many changes in recent years, and I have heard that there may be more on the drawing board. Silver Sands Resort is better than a holiday home. We look forward to our stay there each time we go.
