Love the BUssell Bushland cottages… we have been repeat visitors over the years and love the cottages, fit out the majestic surrounds and the proximity to MR and also Caves road.
Highly recommend… Ange and Jon are excellent.

Stayed at the cottages for 3 nights, and it was wonderful! So many birds and kangaroos around, a very peaceful area for a getaway.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The photos don’t do it justice. Immaculately clean — everything is like new. Cottages are lovely and such a great location 5 mins to town but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Great getaway — we will be back! Thank you.

We have just had a beautiful stay at Bussells Bushland Cottages. We thoroughly recommend them. The staff were lovely. The setting is perfect and the cottage extremely clean and very comfortable. Spent the weekend there with my family and friends. Just a wonderful location. Close to Margaret River town. Tranquil and lovely walks out in the bush. Nothing beats a great pot belly stove fire for those chilly evenings. Lovely accommodation. Will definitely be back ❤️

What a beautiful place. Surrounded by beautiful Aussie bushland with lots of Roo's resting in the shade & wandering past our cabin. There are Kookaburra's & Scarlet Robins to name a few. Truly a magical spot. We'll definately come back. We arrived the day of the '5 day lock down' so havnt left the property much. That's ok because we have everything we need here. Cabins are clean & cozy & very well equipped right down to roasting pans & potatoe masher lol. Beds are comfy, sheets & pillows are good quality. Good A/C & heating. A lot of thought has gone into making this place awesome. Will be sad to leave! Thank you for such a peaceful & enjoyable break.

Bushland cottages is an awesome place.
Stones throw away from Margs but still far enough so you have the bushland right at front of your door step with nature surrounding it.
The perfect stop for me.

A great placeplace a fabulous setting. Close to town if you want to venture in, or stay at the cottage if you want to relax and chill out. Walking trails were great and kangaroos were right at our doorstep.

Wonderful place for a bushland break. Great cottages and fabulous hosts. Our favourite holiday bolthole.

We just had 4 nights here. Very clean cottages. Fantastic location, close to town and beaches. Great walks on the property looking at kangaroo and birds, and just walking in the bush was so relaxing. Cottage has great facilities including bbq. Was nice to sit in front of the wood heater and read. Highly recommended.

Another great stay at Bussells. Had a short 2 night weekend away and just love the tranquility and comfort of our cottage. Love having my coffee each morning on the small veranda area spotting birds and kangaroos. Love walks around the property each afternoon and going possum spotting with our torches at night. Our favourite little home away from home when having time douth!

We had a nice relax stay peaceful and it was very clean cabin close to town also we loved seeing the native animals from outside our cabin.

Firstly meeting Ange who was so friendly and welcoming was lovely. The cottage was beautiful and clean and the setting is tranquil and private. Feeling blessed and rejuvinated.

Not only did we get a warm welcome from John and Bear the Spoodle, but when we reached our cottage (No. 4) there was a complimentary bottle of white wine. The cottage is perfect! All the amenities you need, very clean and comfortable. We were there in warm weather, but I could only imagine being there in the winter with the fire going and a bottle of red. After staying two nights, mum and I weren’t ready to leave, so I spoke to Ange (the lovely manager), and she arranged for us to stay another night. Couldn’t of been happier. We will be returning that’s for sure. Thank you Ange, John and Bear.

I love this charming cottage with fireplace for a chilly night. The beds are very comfortable, along with the sectional in the living room. Very clean. Love the trails around the cottages. They make you think you’re in the land before time, then you come face to face with a a momma kangaroo and her Joey. Watched a group of kangaroos in a field eating dinner. Woke up to the birds calling. Spotted beautiful galahs, laughing kookaburras, ring necked parrots and black cockatoos. I would definitely return!

Such a great wee place nestled away in the bush. Loved waking up to have kangaroos outside our cabin having a wee nibble and jumping around. It was nice to sit back in front of the fire at night to relax, a lovely cosy place to stay, definitely recommend staying here.

Cosy cottages that are comfortably self contained.

Simply love the hassel free check in process, especially after a long drive from Perth city. The kitchen utensils and crockery were also very fully equipped, though I would love to have a dishwasher available. The gas BBQ was also very easy to operate. the cottage is very cozy and bedrooms kept clean with sufficient blankets to keep us warm in the cool nights. the complimentary wine is also a very nice gesture, even though it is expected being listed on the website. … will definitely recommend to my friends who is visiting Margaret River! thanks to Gail who was ever so responsive on emails etc. You are the best!

This place is the best! So peaceful with wildlife to see right from your doorstep.

Lovely service and a well equipped, cosy cottage with a great view of the natural surrounds. Even has a fire place. Not far from many wineries and other attractions. Recommend!

Absolutely ideal, quiet away from everything nice wood fire. Beed's a bit small, though I am used to a king size.

10 out of 10 is not an exaggeration, Margaret River has many good accommodation places, but this one is probably the best kept secret jewel and by writing this review I act against my interest, as I do not want to many people to discover it. Perfectly located out of Margaret River, but not to far, only few minutes drive on a very good road. For that you are in the middle of the bush with trees, shrubs and birds. It is under an excellent management by professional couple providing you with everything you need, being discretely around if you need any help but leaving you to enjoy your privacy and allowing you to be in one on one with nature. You can’t ask for anything better.

A great place to take family for a relaxing time. Enjoy the bush setting and best of all in winter you have a great fireplace. Have stayed 3 times now.

Excellent accommodation set in bushland. Saw kangaroos, parrots and many other birds. Lots of nice walks. Peaceful setting. Friendly, informative staff and a complimentary bottle of wine, what more could you ask for. Definitely recommended.

Just had two nights in cottage 5 and whilst I wasn't there for most of the weekend due to a mates' wedding celebrations, the cottage was the perfect peaceful escape from the hullabaloo.
Drive slowly on the grounds especially at night and you're very likely to see magnificent owls, kangaroos and other nightlife.

Fantastic location, gorgeous, comfortable self-contained cottages which are very private and surrounded by all the glorious sights, sounds, and scents of nature. Just what the doctor ordered! With a wonderful host to boot, this is my idea of perfection.

Great place near things. Clean. Well equipped. Good lights. Good tv. Great kitchen. Quiet place. Kangaroos in next paddock in evening. Airconditioned. Outside verander. Wood fire. Gas barbaque. Great surround of trees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottages. Fully self contained, clean, air conditioned, comfy beds, great value, and friendly helpful management, made it a great stay. Highly recommend.!

This place is BUSHLAND COTTAGES is quite good you KNOW.

Country site cottage, very cosy. People who like to experience kampung will definitely love this place. It is only 5 min away from city. There is a animal farm around the corner. Great for family with young kids. Kangaroo is wild running within the cottage.

What a beautiful bush setting in a great location! Staff were just lovely & for a rammed earth cottage these places were so well appointed and comfortable! Woke up on day 2 with a kangaroo & her Joey outside my bedroom window, just loved it.

After 20 plus years of stays, I still love being there! I never look forward to leaving. Already planning our next trip down south!

Had a great weekend staying here, was a really nice weekend and the accommodation was really nice. Can't beat a wood fire in Winter :-)

Perfect cozy romantic cottage get-away.

I love, love, loved this place. Secluded, but just close enough to Margaret River. Central in the region that you can explore either North or South in a day. Go for a walk and see the wildlife, or stay indoors and watch it come to you. We were visited multiple times by kangaroos right outside our cottage, which the kids loved.

Always love our stay. Cosy cottages and conformable beds. All only a few minutes to Margaret River.

Lovely rustic cottages close to the town centre.

Amazing little gem hidden in a secluded area, still quite near the town centre and easily accessible to all the wineries. Amenities are perfect for short and long stays. Superb.

One of the best cottages I have stayed in. Short drive to town. Do to keep a look out for the kangaroos as you walk along the trails.

I had the best time staying in the cottage with my daughter and granddaughter she had a lot of fun. Great for families everything you need is there. Just bring food and grog. So close to everything the people are awesome. Comfy beds lovely wood fire birds everywhere gorgeous.

Awesome place to visit Plenty of wild life quiet 1st time I've cooked on baby Q Also the wood fired is great on the cold nights.
