Our room is way out the back and many this not operational.
Our Plunge Pool, gym equipment not working along with the Coffee machine at breakfast then they want to charge you for the good machine.
I did find 1 friendly staff member.
Apart from that it’s a lovely spot. It’s a 1k walk to cable beach itself which didn’t worry us.

Great staff and facilities. A special thanks to the management who drove us to the airport when our arranged transport failed to show up. We had a wonderful stay. Lovely food, great pool and spa. Would recommend to anyone.

Great Service, from front desk and great food and drinks overall great atmosphere.

The place is stunning. The food is great. The only thing that let's them down is the attitude of the front desk staff. Found phonecall to the visitor Centre down the road waaaay more helpful than the non help I received from the front desk. Even a"i don't know… You could try the visitors centre" would have been helpful but even a request to have housekeeping attend to our room was met with "oh… They should be around shortly" which I interpreted as I can't be bothered even checking when it will be done.

Just wanted to share these photos just so people know what they are paying for. To say we were disappointed is a massive understatement. Normally I wouldn’t post but we were offered no apology or compensation for our stay. This is what they call there best suite “the master pearler room” and to be honest it was a massive disaster. Completely run down, old, outdated and in need of some love. To have holes in the wall, duct tape holding curtains up and mould through out the air cons is so sub standard. This place honestly needs some money spent on it to bring in up to standard. I would think twice before booking.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay whilst in Broome… very peaceful… helpful and knowledgeable staff… catered to all our needs, including the special needs of our son… Thank you to all the staff from front desk, restaurant (including chefs), bar, etc… sorry can't name all but thanks Georgie, Kate, Emma et al… wish we could have stayed longer… Keryn, Pat n Josh Feeney.

The Deck is an amazing restaurant. Brilliant food that is well thought out and exquisitely presented. And great value for money. I would highly recommend and I will definitely return! Lamb Carpaccio and Morton Bay Bug Raviolo pictured.

We just stayed a week in a connecting two bedroom suite. the rooms were well presented and very clean, and also very spacious. A nice looking resort. the hotel itself needs some maintenance to bring it up to its 5 star rating. our bed was not comfortable and I feel as though at a 5 star hotel you shouldn’t want to get out of bed. We slept pretty average. the restaurant food was amazing however disappointed that they didn’t serve a hot breakfast so had to go elsewhere. it would have also been nice to sit out in our little courtyard area of the room however there was no light out there at night and the other area was dirty and unkept. Also smokers from nearby rooms had us having to keep all of ou windows closed. overall a nice stay but room for improvement.

My stay was part of the final phase of a Scenic tour. On our arrival we were given cold tea, but not enough 4 everyone. At breakfast there weren't sufficient eggs & the toaster had 2 be used 3 times 2 get a sufficiently toasted piece of bread. The motel is located about 100 netres from the public bus stops that take u 15 into town or in less time 2 nearby Cable Beach. The Bali Hai restaurant next door has beautifully prepared & presented modern Australian food & a good wine list.

Best meal and beautiful night view. A calm and serene time. A place away from the busy days of the city and a place that makes you refresh your mind and body.

Ambiance and service, especially house keeping absolutely first rate.
A/C and fans made for a very comfortable stay.
Grounds, flora, pools water features absolutely stunning.
Food, bar, room and pool service excellent.
Room and especially bath, wonderful.
Public transport and shuttle buses excellent.
Loose decking between rooms very disappointing.
Lighting around decks could be better. A trip / fall hazard over side of decks. Especially at night.

All said and done, apart from the deck, a wonderful experience.

Nice spot 10 min from cable beach pool needs a good clean but staff great.

It is a beautiful hotel but first started with no Wi-Fi as the network was down. Which means no phone access for calls to reception or room service. We were very thankful that the hotel gave us mozi replanent. One thing we forgot to bring. We were a little upset that we couldn’t order the curry at lunch in the restaurant as it was only room service yet we couldn’t use our phone to contact them because the service is down. We also found that people who were not staying at the hotel came into the hotel to use the pool. They moved our towels and belonging from our beds while we were in our room. I think if we pay to stay in the hotel we get priority on sun beds. We wanted to go for a night swim but apparently the pool is closed after dark. When I it’s 30 outside at night time I think we should be able to use the pool.

Fine dining and brilliant service. The Sunday lunch series is fantastic!

We had a great meal and we were well looked after. Thanks to the staff for some great service. The kids went for a swim in the pool and had a great time, all in all a great experience.

If I need to take someone to a restaurant which will impress, Kimberley Sands is my choice. Definitely my favourite in town, pricey buy worth it for a special night.

Rooms are lovely and the staff are very supportive and kind. Great location, walking distance to Cable Beach. Was disappointed with the condition of the pool, needs maintenance, pool tiles were loose and falling off. Food was delicious but very pricey and not much menus choice. Would I come back to Kimbely Sands Resort, most likely not.

Lovely service and good facilities. Easy access ro Cable Beach and bus into town.

First day. First impressions on arrival lovely. Rooms very nice. Swimming pool about a 3rd of the size of the picture on Google and not enough sunloungers around pool you have to wait. The gardens appear neglected for months. The restaurant gives you miniscule servings … my Ravioli dish was a total of 2 Ravioli. It was delicious though. The gym has no space for floor exercises or weights. Not deserving of current rating.

We visited KS during the wet season, and despite the low occupancy the staff and amenities were superb. Highly recommended!

I dined at the restaurant and have to say that the food was absolutely faultless. I was with a guest from Sydney who commented that the food was better than degustation at Tetsuya's. Service was 5 star and atmosphere was so friendly. I definitely have to make this a more regular experience. Thanks Marion for providing Broome with such a high standard dining experience, and special mention to Graeme who tended to our table and made the evening that little bit more special.

Fabulous service, compassionate & caring staff. Quality food and refreshingly clean facilities. Definitely will be back.

Went here for dinner. Food and service was superb, one of the few places in Broome that's worth the money. If I found myself in Broome again, there is definitely at least a 12% chance that I would go back here for dinner. Ok, make that at least 90%.

What a lovely night was had by all. The lychee cocktail was a great start to a fantastic evening. Between the six of us we tried many of the dishes from entrees to deserts and they certainly lived up to our expectations! The staff did a great job as it was a busy night but everything flowed very smoothly. The ambience at KS is truly a very special Broome experience.

The front reception staff, are friendly and efficient, I love the Deck Restaurant, the waiter staff are lovely. The Food is so yummy, especially the Chilli Squid. The pool so relaxing.

Fabulous place to stay! Rooms are lovely, spacious — bed excellent! Staff are excellent and very accommodating. Pool is great! Has villas for families with private pool in each villa area which is shared by around 4 villas. If you get a chance visit the spa and enjoy an amazing massage by Joyce — she is excellent! Can't wait to return.

Relaxed atmosphere, courteous staff, great food and amazing cocktails, will definitely be going back.
