Great Indian food and experience steeped in nostalgia. Hailing from Kolkata and being very bengali at heart, nothing can match a scrumptious mutton daak bungalow curry (jhol), served with steaming hot rice and ghost stories to share with friends around a bonfire! Also throw in some great star gazing activity and shots to cherish for life. The host and the staff are very friendly too, I definitely recommend this place.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Mountain Creek Motel. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the view is absolutely breath taking. Also had dinner at the restaurant and was very impressed with the delicious and authentic home cooked Indian food. 10/10 will stay again. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I booked this accommodation for my son, nephew and friend for 2 nights whilst going to the snow. They could not recommend this hotel more, room was large comfy with everything needed. Best part was they loved the bistro and couldn’t stop talking about the food. Best Parmy they have ever had they all said, trust me they have eaten lots of Parmy’s in their time. So good they went back the next night and had Parmy’s again. All agreed the service was fantastic too, they will definitely be back

Stayed here on our way to falls creek ski resort for a weekend night. It was cozy and warm on a freezing winter night mid July. Overall a satisfying place with nice views and pretty quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend.

The staff were lovely. I arrived with a whole bus load of guests and they still have every one of us individual service. They took a genuine interest in how we were enjoying our weekend. The room I stayed in had plenty of space for three people, and a balcony with an amazing view. The heater kept me warm enough. Special shout out for the showers. The water runs hot fairly quickly, and the water pressure is nice and powerful — just the thing when you've been out in the snow and need to be warmed up.

Superb Motel With Best Views. Great Location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place is the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. I travelled with my whole family and thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. Spa and guest kitchen is the best.

Stayed for two days. Rooms are very big with balcony. Excellent views from motel room. Highest Mountain Of Victoria Mt Bogong views were seen from my bed. Guest Kitchen was excellent. Manager even provided oil, pepper, salt and all utensils. It is full fledged kitchen with full of utensils including all kinds of pots and pans. The hot spa is the best after long walk. Due to country driving my windscreen was dirty and was happy to see bucket with squeezy. Sponge to clean windscreen before I left. A very mindful thought. Will come back in winter.

The staff were lovely and accommodating. The rooms were clean although dated. The beds were comfortable.

Great budget motel with lovely hosts and amazing vista of Mt Bogong!

Amazing accommodation! We spent one night at this property, and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. There is nothing to fault here, spotlessly clean and everything well set up (TV's, kitchen etc. ) We also loved the location, quiet and peaceful. Fantastic views of the mountains to the rear. Wonderful hosts & Definitely recommend!

A motel with a difference We stayed at this motel with our three young kids. Initially we were just expecting this place to be any other motel, but were completely amazed with all the facilities. To start with we were greeted very well by the new owners. All the facilities were shown which instantly made us welcome. The room was clean with comfortable bed, very clean and modern bathroom, crisp bedsheets and lush towels. The room was thoughtfully set for wide range of travellers. Tea, coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave had most of the basic items covered. The motel had a fully working kitchen, all the pots, pans, cutlery were thoughtfully stocked which made our meal preparations a breeze. A swimming pool and spa had all of us entertained in a beautiful surroundings. The owners very active in taking care of all the guests, something which we find very different than other similar places we have stayed in past. At the end of our trip we were very satisfied with the time spent in the lovely town and specially at this property. With plans to add more facilities, we have no hesitation in returning this place soon. Highly recommended for any sort of traveler. Thanks for sponge and bucket to clean car windscreens, such an excellent thought.

Alright place to stay! Not great.

Magnificent rural views from our upstairs room. Spacious and comfortable clean room. Proprietor was very friendly and helpful and even offered to carry our luggage downstairs to the car. Windscreen cleaning bucket and squeegee at each car park space was a thoughtful gesture after a country drive.

It's a pretty typical motel, with slightly ageing rooms, and lots of rules. Decent value for money.

Service was very warm, friendly, and helpful. The location was a nice spot with a great view from our room and in close proximity to several different places to eat. The room was spacious and clean. Would definitely book here again if we're in the area and highly recommend it.

Spent one night here after being rained out at a nearby campground. The staff couldn't have been more helpful! The motel has a nice layout, with views of the mountains, a sparkling pool, fairy garden and great amenities like a communal kitchen for self-catering and a lockup for bikes. It was lovely. Hope to come back and spend more time here.
