Allamar Motel is very comfortable providing all that one needs for multi day stay. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, linen was new; all cooking items were provided for micro wave cooking and owner was friendly and helpful. Very pleasant site with amazing view of stunning Mt Bogong and quiet ambience. Spacious room and best of all excellent value.

Nice view and convenient location and reasonable price. Although room is a little bit old, but it’s neat and clean. Want to get a room this year but fully booked unfortunately.

Nice and quite place. Location is serene but bit away from Bright. There is an annoying cat who attacks visitors, just be cautious of that.

A classic motor inn. Great location, up on the hill with postcard views of the valley. Nice rooms, classic bathrooms. Friendly manager. Would highly recommend.

What a view! I loved the views from Allamar. Amazing place to see the sunsets, so peaceful. Location is great too. But room could be cleaner though there were dusts everywhere! Bed was too rough and not comfy at all. Another problem was Air con unit which was too noisy and old. I wanted to give three stars but I give a bonus star just for the views!

Dis place is enchanting… with d magical mountain retreat … nd scenic views. Dis motel provided us wid d most comfortable one day holiday trip during d weekdays. The owner Stewart is such an amazing person with the gift of being such a gentleman. Who made us feel at home … nd nt to forget he has got a lovely cat and an adorable dog just making dis place d bestest for ur holiday to mount beauty and falls creek. I loved it here. And all thanx to u Stewart… luking forward to visit again wid our parents… nd I am seriously considering ur suggestion for practising dentistry at ur place… hope u remember! See u soon.

What a wonderful place, Stu, Rio and "The General" were most welcoming. Hotel room was exceptionally clean. View was amazing. It was exactly what we wanted. Mt Beauty lives up to its name. We will be back.

This is our first time staying in this motel, we were using this as a base to stay overnight before heading off to falls creek. Got in little late, the room was really comfortable with all amenities. Got up refreshed to discover that the motel had beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay here again.

Charming value for money motel nestled at the base of the mountains with spectacular views, Stu is the consummate host who goes over and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. Rooms are spotless and have microwaves and toasters comfy beds with nice linens and are warm and cosy. The ultimate place to relax by the fire is in Zak's wine bar with a great wine and good friends — cannot wait to return to this beautiful place.

We went there during autumn. One of the best places I have ever stayed. It was so clam and beautiful. We got up in the middle of the night and went out of the room to watch the stars; absolute beauty. The BBQ area is gorgeous, with nice seating facilities available. We couldn't decide whether to have our outdoor breakfast facing the mountains or the fields in front of us: that's how beautiful it was. The room was very comfortable and warm. The manager was so nice and although he had to be away himself (had already told me over the phone), he had assigned a friend of his to come and give us the key and all the necessary information. He even allowed us to do a late check out free of charge. If you are looking for a quite, peaceful getaway during the autumn time, I really recommend this place.

Great place to stay when traveling to ski at Falls, great little wine bar to hangout in after!

If I stay in the Alpine region, this is my first port of call. I've strayed here three times in the last 12 months and bang for buck you are not going to find any better. The owner is extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. The views from the hotel grounds are outstanding, there is no better place to sit with a glass of wine. Looking forward to my next visit.

What a fantastic getaway, alpine views, stunning backdrop and a true mountain feel! This little retreat has it all; nice, clean and comfy room with amazing service and hospitality. Be sure to try the local wine and beer @ Zak's with Stu the innkeeper! So, if you want a true Victorian alpine experience, put this one on your list.

STAY HERE! The hidden gem of the alpine region. This motel is most impressive and fantastic value for money! The rooms are modern and stylish. I would recommend this to everyone, stay at the Allamar.
