Spacious, very good heating throughout. Beds were clean and tidy, extra pillows in cupboards. Overall very satisfied.

Currently staying in one of the units, we absolutely love it here and are planning to spend our holiday her next year and for our honeymoon in 2020

Place is wonderful and has a very good atmosphere. Place is really goid if you have kids. Staff are extremely accomodating and professional as well.

Units were good. Just needed a better heater. Apart from that everything was fantastic.

Casbak cabins are a great little place to stay for a few days whilst out hiking the high country. Always clean and tidy. Ed and Neene are friendly and welcoming. We’ve used them regularly and will always be back. Close by for an easy walk to the Snowline Pub after a hard day hiking Razorback.

Here for music camp. Nice rooms where we can cook, play in the pool. Most important, we are centrally located to all the music venues. No car!

Nice house, good hosts, simple check in and out.

Decent accommodation with a warm host. A bit outdated and found insects in the shower area. The kids facilities like trampoline and swings are good and keep the kids busy. You can literally hear the ripples from the swan river as come out of the rooms.

Me and my family head here every year over the queens birthday weekend and we love it to bits! Sitting on the banks of the ovens river it really makes you feel like you're in the Victorian high country! Nice little town with a whole lot of history with the mount hotham ski fields very close.

Such a lovely place to stay. Backs right onto the Ovens river and has a great family environment. Very close to two great pubs for a good meal or there are plenty of amenities available to cook from your room.

Plenty of facilities for kids, great family retreat, brilliant location. Would recommend to everyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday getaway.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are within walking distance of most of the town's shops. The whole town is very friendly and picturesque. The cabin was value for money. I enjoyed my stay in Harrietville.

Amazing accommodation. My sons absolutely loved the playground trampolines and pool outside our door. Accomadation itself was funky and clean, layout was great. Good work, we will be coming back in Jan and staying here.

Fantastic place to stay with family and friends. The room were clean and comfortable, set in beautiful well maintained surroundings. Ed and janine are great host who are always up for a chat or to give advice on where to go. We'll be back in summer to make use of the pool! Thanks again ed and janine for the great holiday.

Impressive lodge with great facilities, conveniently located and very good value for money.

Decent, spacious accommodation great for families and small groups. Friendly, helpful owners. Dated accommodation but clean and well maintained. Recommended.

Been coming here for a few years now and it beautiful. The surroundings are stunning and there's plenty to do in the area and the region. Neene and Ed are great making sure everything is in order for when you arrive. The beds are comfortable, gas and wood fire bbqs, with the Ovens river running a just along side. Lots of walks, the Tronah Dredge a short walk. The pool is wonderful set in amongst the trees. No matter the time of year Casbak is great.

My family and I spent a week at Casbak over the summer. Its an great spot to spend your holidays. The town is lovely, the host were amazing, and its a really family orientated accommodation. We will certainly be back!

What a beautiful place! I had the pleasure of staying in the Myrtle Lodge with a group of friends and what an experience! A stunningly equipped kitchen, cosy furnishings, a warm fireplace (which the lovely owners Neene & Ed kept burning whilst we were gone) and just 30 minutes to Mount Hotham! An excellent mountain retreat! We have just booked the Myrtle lodge for our next stay in August. Thanks Neene & Ed for such beautiful accommodation :) To anyone who is unsure — I highly recommend you stay at Casbak.

Staying in the besutful Myrtle lodge. One of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Kitchen has everything a cook on holidays would want and the lounges areas are so comfy and beautifully furnished. This is better than home!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, walking distance to shop and two delightful pubs, and wonderful owners. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing base from which the region can be explored.

Casbak in Harrietville has it all. Fantastic location, welcoming friendly owners and very comfortable cabins at very reasonable prices. You can watch the kids play in the middle or get away and chill out by the riverside. We really enjoy our stays here during the summer and winter breaks.
