This caravan park is amazing. We stayed on two massive powered sites with our tents which were so shaded it kept cool even on 30+ day. We found the owners wonderful, they keep an amazing park which is so tidy and clean everywhere, they are always changing the bins and making sure all the sites are free from debris from the trees. The pool was crystal clean also. The facilities are all sparkling clean, and I love that they left amenities such as spray, clothes and mops for us to help them keep it that way. The toilets and showers were warmed on cool mornings and they had the radio piped through speakers which is a nice touch. The camp kitchen was brilliant with toaster, kettle, gas cooktop, an oven and two bbq plates — very handy when you run out of gas in your own haha. I can’t speak highly enough of this place, it surpassed my expectations of what caravan parks can be! We can’t wait to come back.

This is a great park. Great sites, great facilities and great people who work here. The atmosphere is awesome.

Very friendly, quiet spot in paradise — off the highway and such lovely coffee makers with great coffee at ’Coffee at the Burgh’ — so good for bike riders ‍♀️‍♂️

Beautiful well kept, clean park. Cabins were very clean and tidy. Great Location with easy access to the Mountains and Bright.

We arrived late in the evening and found the cabin warmed and ready for us. Nice amenities and location. But the reception office always had no one to assist us. They lack staff.

We love it here, solar heated pool, creek at the bottom of the park, tennis, basketball hoop, jumping pillow, dvds, ping pong, beautiful surrounds and far enough out to be peaceful. Perfect for a family recharge!

Such a beautiful place. You can hear birds, the Ovens river and the rest is absolute silence despite not being far from the road. The rooms are absolutely immaculate. A nice view of snow capped mountains in Winter. I only give it five stars because that's all there is. I actually give it ten out of five.

This caravan park was pretty in autumn. No TV reception but there was a lounge. It was a little way out of town. I enjoyed some walks while I was there and also enjoyed the heaters in the bathrooms brrr :)

Recently updated amenities. Very clean. Great location 5 mins from Bright. Only short fall no television reception or Wi-Fi but no biggy. Would stay there again.

Bright Freeburg caravan park is situated 9 ks outside Bright and is easily accessible. The Ovens River flows past the park adding to the beauty of the area which is well endowed with many species of trees. Well worth a visit in Autumn to see the beauty of the colors ranging from yellow through orange to deep red. The park has many caravan spots as well as cabins and has all the usual amenities in the grounds. It is well placed for visits to other small towns in the greater area and for keen cyclists including that road up Mount Buller!

Beautiful and quiet, glad we chose this one out of all in Bright. But it does cost you fifty bucks to have a fire!

Just spent the labour day weekend here, what a beautiful place, beautiful and peaceful, very clean, we stayed in 3 bedroom superior cabin which was virtually brand new and had everything you needed. Beds were comfy, and facilities were great and the outdoor verandah was lovely and relaxing. All in all a great experience so much so that we have rebooked for next year. Well done Freeburgh we will definitely recommend. Cheers Lisa.

We stayed 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year on a powered site. It's always hard to review a caravan park during peak period because it is bound to be crowded and keeping the amenities clean is nearly impossible. So ignoring these obvious downsides, the park is about 8km out of Bright, next to the Ovens River. Great for cooling off in Summer and I would recommend taking an inflatable donut to float down the river. Some river shoes make it easier to walk in the river as the rocks can be slippery. Too shallow to swim though. The sites are very generous and ours had a new concrete slab. Nice shady trees. Ample toilets and showers. Could do with more washing machines and clothes lines. $3 a load for washing machines. I didn't use driers but they are expensive and I was told they weren't very good. They had live entertainment NYE. Bakery, berry and meat vans visit daily and there is a coffee van and ice cream van but not sure about off peak periods. Bikes for kids can be hired. There is a jumping pillow, games room and pool. No shops around. You have to drive 5 mins to Bright. A good base for touring the High Country and not as busy as Bright.

We have spent a week under canvas here for the last five summers. It is right on the banks of the Ovens River, with every type of accommodation from unpowered tent sites to cabins. Lots of trees for shade, easy access to the water, reliable, clean showers, a coin laundry and friendly staff. A nice pool, play equipment and loaner bikes for the kids, and a tennis court. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and it's a short drive to all the attractions of this part of the Victorian Alps, including the ski areas, hiking trails, country pubs and the relative bustle of Bright. Best of all, dogs are welcome!

From the tent camper's point of view, camping isn't ideal because all the facilities are way too far from the tent area. There are a couple of spots close to the kitchen, ask about them. For the caravaners it will be ideal. Facilities are five-star-plus.

Great family friendly park, playground, jumping cushion, bikes and trikes. Right on the Ovens river if you want to try catching a trout for dinner. Friendly staff, Amenities are spotless clean, under cover BBQ area with TV. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stop for few nights. We were in a van and had a spacious site. Camping sites are near to the river.

Beautiful peaceful location apprx 10 mins outside center of Bright. Our cabin had all the comforts (and coffee machine) we needed for our mid winter stay. Some snow clothing/gear available for hire. Grounds well maintained. Run by friendly people. Highly recommend & will return. Thank you BFCPk.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in the valley view cottages. And I must admit the views are spectacular! Cottage has a nice fireplace and comfortable beds. It comes equipped with basic kitchen essentials and a microwave oven. The lady at the counter is always smiling and very helpful. I am surely coming back here!

Kids loved it the play ground was great the swimming pool was a bit cold but would probably be nice in the summer.

Friendly campsite with good amenities that make camping there enjoyable and easy. This is our second time staying at the campsite and we will be coming back again.

Camped here for 4 nights. Great place. Heaps of things to do for the kids with a reck room with TV, pool table, table tennis & outdoor heated pool. Short drive to Bright with lots of great places to visit. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely park on the Ovens river. We could hear it bubbling past our van site. The amenities are very good, lots of them and very clean. You can have an open fire in the drums provided which is great on those chilly nights. Swimming pool area is nice for the warmer months and the whole park has a lovely feel with large trees studded throughout. It's a short drive into the town of Bright itself and we found the location ideal for our ten day exploration of the Victorian high country. We did a 10 night travel auction deal which made it very affordable. Would recommend for anyone wanting a site for their van or cabin accommodation in this stunning, scenic area.

I loved my stay and the park serves as a great base for local activities. Both the cabins and ground are exceptionally well maintained and it is obvious the owners operate the park with pride. Great value and highly recommended.

First time to Bright with our young family. The cabins, grounds and facilities are immaculate and well maintained! Staff are helpful. Have really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back again in Autumn.

Beautiful park, great facilities and helpful staff. Had a 3 night stay but wished it was longer. Our cabin was spacious and immaculately clean with everything we needed to feel right at home. The coffee machine was a bonus! Have already rebooked for next year.

Fantastic Family run park. Set back from the road and very quiet and peaceful. The owners did a great job dealing with campers who couldn't keep the noise down or did not conform to the 10:30pm no noise curfew. Would defiantly stay there again. Thank you from the Andersons and Mackinnons.

Well what can I say. We were in the valley view rooms and enjoyed both nights we were there. Room s are clean warm comfortable, the fireplace is just something else, the espresso machine the bbq electric blancet, clean bathroom and best of all people running the place are friendly helpful and very welcoming. Good on you guys, I will come back 100%.

Fantastic Park, tucked back off the road in a peaceful bush setting along the River. So close to beautiful Bright and all it has to offer, as well as being a short drive up the Mountain to Hotham. Definitely 1 park I would visit again. Cabins and Grounds keep immaculate and owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome place to stay, very especially in Autumn. Friendly operators, good amenities and big rig friendly. Handy to the snow fields and Bright.
