My friend and I stayed at Lindenderry for a girls weekend getaway for two nights and it was nothing short of fabulous. The service was impeccable and so attentive and a big thanks to Thomas for going above and beyond every morning in the breakfast room to make sure we were well looked after. The grounds around the property are just gorgeous and we made good use of the facilities such as a the heated swimming pool and sauna. Thanks again to the team at Lindenderry for a beautiful stay at your property. Would highly recommend for guests wanting accommodation on the Peninsula!

I honestly do not have words for how amazing Lindenderry are! My husband and I were lucky enough to be married here on Saturday and it was the most spectacular day! The food and the wine was incredible and the venue is just stunning. Marissa and Jess were incredible to work with and there is no way we could have pulled off our wedding without them. The attention to detail was amazing and they were so organised! I cannot recommend Lindenderry high enough! Thank you all so much! Amy and Stephen White.

Simply amazing! Staff were very courteous and very accommodating from reception to the restaurant and cellar door. The room were impeccable. Very clean and comfortable (fireplace is a great touch). We very much enjoyed our stay and cant wait to visit again. Thanks to the team for making our stay so wonderful!

Great hotel. Amazing food and wine. Great service.

Terrible service, was served a meal containing gluten and was told it was gluten free. Staff were argumentative and insisted that it was gluten free but clearly contained ingredients that were not. Staff said they would check with chef, and never returned. I did not receive a meal at this function. Will never return here, and would not recommend.

Enjoyed a wine tasting and lunch. The pizza and share plater were amazing!

My partner proposed to me in the vineyard at lindenderry. The setting was beautiful and I couldn't imagine a better place for the magical moment to happen. We stayed the night and had the most beautiful room, the staff were amazing and the food at the Restraunt was incredible! We would highly recommend lindenderry to everyone!

Stayed for a night in the Garden Room. Outstanding service from booking through to stay. No query or question was too hard! Enjoyed dinner in the the restaurant and was amazing. Again, great service. Pool and Billiards room were another feature, and the gardens. Quick walk to the Red Hill market on Saturday morning. Will be coming back! Highly recommend!

A lovely venue for a wedding! Gorgeous grounds and the food was fantastic. Function room was laid out in a way that it was impossible to see the bridal table from the back, but otherwise a brilliant venue.

The food and wine was really good and the wait staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The grounds also looked amazing.

What an incredible place! On the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, this hotel is on the most beautiful property with a small lake and vineyards. Looks like something out of a movie. My husband and I stayed in one of the balcony suites and it was perfect. The room is spacious with a fireplace, bathroom is huge, and the bed is soooo comfy. The food here is so good too! Breakfast is delicious with a lot of options. We had dinner here and had such a lovely time! The food was incredible and David was so great! He made our stay wonderful. Such a relaxing and serene place. Perfect escape from the city. We will definitely be back!

Amazing accommodation set on a beautiful winery. This will become an annual family trip. Great staff and breakfast buffet was amazing. Only downside was that Wi-Fi was dismal — no points taken off as it forced family to keep off phones — but it would be of concern if I was staying for business purposes. Apart from that it’s an amazing place!

Excellent 2 nights away. Although our room was a bit tired and basic Lindenderry more than makes up for it with the surrounds and facilities. Great pool and spa area, breakfast was fantastic not to mention canapes and awesome wine. Great stay.

Worst service ever. We drove up wanting to enjoy a wine tasting and perhaps enjoy something small to eat with a glass of wine and were repeatitdly walked off on while having a wine tasting so eventually walked out.

My fiancee & I stayed in late September 2017 to celebrate our second anniversary, and we could not have picked a more fitting, welcoming place! Despite the initial price shock, we soon discovered it was worth every dollar. The staff were welcoming, extremely courteous and very friendly — especially those in the cellar door operating the wine tastings (definite recommendation! ) Furthermore, the accommodation itself it designed immaculately, and imposed an immediate 5-star feeling upon arrival. The recent renovations of the suite bathrooms look fantastic, and the room (we stayed in a balcony suite) was spacious, warm and finely detailed! Dinner in the Linden Tree restaurant was simply incredible, and left us feeling fuller than ever! You're missing out if you don't enjoy at least one meal there. Overall if I could give Lindenderry at 6-star rating, I would — it earned it, and it's certainly achieved future stays from me and my fiancee. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us so well!

Very nice outside sitting area.

Lindenderry has lots of potential — but missed the mark because it is 'tired'. We stayed in a Balcony Suite for 2 nights. The bedroom is spacious has a decor of modern dark grey tones and a lovely open fireplace. Unfortunately noise and voices from adjoining rooms is easily audible. The bathroom whilst clean was neither modern nor fresh, the formica vanity a relic from a previous era — as opposed to a welcome antique. Beyond the room, the carpets throughout the hotel are worn and in some places threadbare, and the balcony and railing paintwork outside our room was also run down. Was it a comfortable and clean hotel? Yes. Was the staff helpful and pleasant? Yes. Was it value for money? No. Would I recommend Lindenderry? Not until a significant update has been completed.

Came for a midweek overnight stay (without the kids). We were in a Garden room which was spacious and very comfortable king size bed. Large window overlooking the bush surrounding the estate, but couldn't access the balcony as the door would only open partway. The rooms are looking a little dated but otherwise clean. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The common areas of the hotel are wonderful with many open fireplaces and interesting art. We stayed Tuesday night and although I was informed at booking that the restaurant would be closed, as there was a conference on, it was actually open for limited dinner service which was a bonus as it saved us having to drive somewhere else. Breakfast was your standard fare. Would definitely come back (again without the kids — Lindenderry at Red Hill is geared more toward a quiet trip away)

It is a lovely place. The staff are incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. The rooms are quite nice to stay in.

Stayed in balcony room for two nights, room was beautifully decorated and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The only down side was the bathroom, which was a bit run down with chipped tiles, outdated spa bath and loose paint on cupboards… definately need an upgrade.

Christmas lunch was amazing, so much food and although there was a hiccup with our room they were so accommodating. Great staff so friendly.
Highly recommend eat and stay or stay and eat yummy.

We had a fantastic time at the weekend at Lindenderry winery at Red Hill, the service was impeccable, we were looked after like royalty. We spent a lot of time walking around the gorgeous gardens, drinking the delectable wines, and just chilling in front of the fireplaces. We would recommend this amazing place to everyone! A young guy, (maybe Brad? ) was so wonderful and attentive to us, he was fantastic!

My partner and I were scouting for a friends wedding location and visited Lindenderry on 29th May 2016. We were greeted by Brad (young guy) who's professionalism and enthusiasm for the features and benefits of having a wedding at Lindenderry's was above and beyond. Brad gave us a guided tour of the hotel, restaurant and various locations around the grounds that would be ideal to host a wedding. A truly warming and relaxing environment to stay. This review is to recognise Brad's 10/10 level of service, passion and warmth during our informative tour. A true asset to Lindenderry!

I read some mixed reviews but my experience was great. Attentive and professional staff, lovely setting and great food and wine. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here in April and had a fantastic stay on a work related trip. Staff were absolutely marvellous. Think of the experience of living in a mansion or modern castle and that's what one will experience here. Yet its a short drive to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was the best. I've stayed in hotels worldwide but this is an experience everyone should try. I wont say too much more in case this place gets discovered by too many people and gets booked up for when I return. Forget the negative review by people who may have been stressed and have pre existing communication issues from before they got to this amazing property. Check it out for yourself and you wont regret it.

Terrible treatment towards new customers that were recommended by family and friends. My partner and I spent almost three weeks trying to book Lindenderry Estate for our wedding. Our calls and emails went unanswered for days on end. When they finally did get in contact were told that the venue was available on the date we inquired and they would have a brochure sent to us. A week and a half later we decided to drive down to Lindenderry to see if we could make some progress face to face as we didn't receive the brochure. We spoke to the manager who kindly gave us a quick tour and told us the date we wanted was available. He also told us that he would make sure someone would contact us within a few days to arrange a proper tour. Once again we had to follow up, because guess what… nobody called AGAIN. We then waited almost a week to receive the brochure, in this time we tried several times to follow up with no response. I then received an email from a stylist I employed for our wedding telling me that she had been in contact with Lindenderry and the date I wanted to lock in was not available. So if anyone reading this is looking for a venue in the Red Hill area, I suggest looking elsewhere. Avoid Lindenderry like the plague.

Super location and fantastic staff. The rooms were clean and the day spa was amazing. The restaurant there was fantastic and had some really good wjnes.

Forgot our food twice. Forgot our wine tasting so we stood awkwardly round at the bar until we decided to sit down. Ended up asking for a refund and left.

Wow! We had the most amazing time — so spoilt this really was the place to come to wind down… The lush green garden view from our huge room was so relaxing we didn't want to leave! Dining in the classy restaurant made our experience even more valuable the service was amazing and the food really special and the best staff ever! So friendly and they went way out of their way to ensure we had the best time and believe us we really did. Lindenderry — The ONLY place to stay!

This place exceeded all expectations. Most exquisite surroundings, great service, comfortable king size beds in handsome oversized rooms. The food at their restaurant was so delicious, their breakfast spread was by far the best I've ever experienced. Coddled eggs, pikelet stacks, brie and egg tarts, trout and egg tarts (and other tarts), mini carrot cakes, proscuitto and rockmelon, gorgeous breads and butter and so much more including a juicer where you can make your own fresh juice.

Just had the most relaxing weekend, open fire glass of wine what more could we ask for. The restaurant food was 9/10, I would highly recommend this place, Defiantly one of the better places to stay in the area. Kevin Finnigan.

Love Lindenderry at Red Hill. The place is so inviting and begs you to relax with wonderful food and wine. The food at Linden Tree is amazing, and the Estate Wine is a perfect match! I cannot wait to return very, very soon.

Lindenderry is due for an uosate thus year. The spa is offline.

Attended for work Christmas dinner. Food was delicious. Serice was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

We didn't have a great meal here. The staff were nice but it was let down by a strange menu, expensive wine list and poor to mediocre food. My flat head tails were really greasy and my wifes caesar salad was so basic that it amounted to little more than dressed lettuce. It was like it was sent out without all the toppings being added. Our guests were too polite to tell us how bad their meals were but the omelette looked dry and boring without so much as garnish and was only half eaten. I can't remember my father in laws meal to comment although I remember my negative view of it felling embarrassed I had taken him here. I would like to think they had a bad day because I left feeling really ripped off. Funnily enough I came to the restaurant having met one of the chefs socially and thought I would give it a go. Turns out he was not there that day so perhaps more can be expected with him in the kitchen? The Lindenderry Pinot was the only saving grace which was excellent but at $65 a bottle I wasn't about to order another.

Looking for somewhere in Victoria' Morington Pensulia above the average accommodation. Looking at Londenderry's web site you may think it is it. Not. Our experience was that staff service and inital reception (check in) was very casual and unhelpful when asked about what there was to see and do in the area. The balcony room (extra $) which we booked had a average decor and the esuite needed a good clean and had no supplied toileties. The main resturant windows needed a good clean. Looking at very noticeable spilled liquids and food matter on the glass windows and walls (in direct sunlight) at breakfast was not conduceive to enjoying our meal while thinking about hygiene and their food production coming out of the kitcken. We mentioned this to staff and two days later it was still not cleaned. The food was average, only found one wait staff on one day of our stay (3) to be very helpfull. Very overpriced, basic and needing a good overhall. The location and the informative, friendly staff in their wine cellar outlet are the only thing that the estate has going for it. Will not go back or recommend it.

I took a bride-to-be to the Endota day spa at Lindenderry Country House for manicures and pedicures the day before her wedding. We were presented with 19 colors to choose from — very limited color range that did not include colors in the range we wanted — and when we stated what color we wanted on our toes we were told that we should have mentioned it at the time of booking and brought our own polish if we wanted a specific color. The manager found an acceptable color eventually. The French polish on our hand nails were the worst French polishes either of us had ever had — and we have had quite a few of those! Upon returning home we promptly removed it and did it ourselves. The attitude at Endota day spa was appalling. Everything that went wrong was somehow our fault — including the shape of our nails and the weather. They offered half of the money back for the hand nails — a full refund would have been more appropriate. They are overpriced to begin with and terrible at customer service. I promptly canceled my next Endota spa appointment.
