I would recommend to stay in Causeway, the customer services was great, staffs are friendly. Beside that’s the housekeeping was great too. Clean and tidy❤️will book again for my next trip❤️ location is great too, convenience to do shopping☺️

It’s close to the Block Arcade so great location. The restaurant is outsourced in the basement but the Do Dee does yummy food for room service and puts on a good breakfast. Tucked away down an ally it is quite snug and the rooms are nice. I had mobility room which was spacious and fit for purpose. Great location for exploring.

Staff are very friendly spacious rooms.

We had a weekend getaway. This hotel is well located, clean, comfy beds and suited us perfectly. Would definitely stay again.

Where do I start… Firstly, I booked the hotel for three people but when we got there they informed me that I had to pay an extra $60 a night because it was my fault that there had been a mistake in the booking.
The sofa bed for my child wasn’t made up and she was unable to go to sleep until at least 11pm because it took 1.5 hours for the receptionist to find a blanket and a pillow.
When we called reception to find out where they were with the blanket and pillow, they informed us that they hadn’t been yet because they didn’t think we wanted it even though I explicitly asked for the blanket and sheets to be brought up.
When I asked the receptionist how long it would take for her to come make the bed, she said, and I quote “I’m not trained in how to make a bed”.
No apology was offered to us over how long this took, we were charged an extra $180 for a blanket and pillow for our child.
We will never stay there again and we discourage others from staying there as well.

Room are small. No tubs for my room. Very simple facility available.

A lovely hotel. Staff very helpful. Restaurant for breakfast in basement which is a chinese rest in the evening. Nice! Good location. Difficult for cabs to get to entrance though as it’s a very narrow street. Be irritated to cart your suitcases about 100 yards from drop off.

Sorry management. My past rating was somewhat a mistake? We found the hotel a little gem in Melbourne. Good room and breakfast. So close to free tram and good places to eat. I would stay at your hotel again and recommend it to others.

Great hotel and a really nice view. The lobby makes you question where you are staying, but the rooms were pleasantly surprising. Much bigger than we expected and they even had a hair dryer there! Staff was not super helpful and didn't offer to assist with our bags. The hotel entrance is located in an alley way between Collins and little Collins, which can be hard to find but the location is great!

Two single beds pushed together and they call this a king bed. In our sever days of stay, the bathtub is never clean — oh and the rate is much higher than the already overpriced rates that comes with the cheap shower room. The room smells stuffy like high school gym locker room. All elevators need several swipes to read you key card. Staff are stupid, never remember what you say two minutes ago. I swiped my credit card for the bond and I need to swiped again when I check out, so how come all other hotels don’t need me to do that? Service knock on the door loudly every morning and I have to yell to say no while everything from next door is crystal clear. Many other details just show how uncaring they are but never mind, I won’t waste another second for this, neither another dime.

The restaurant we visited was very enjoyable, the food was very authentic Thai and was great. Price was reasonable and food lovely. Gets very busy at night so I recommend booking ahead.

Perfect for a weekend getaway in the city. Rooms are clean, equipped will all the essentials. Front desk staff are helpful too. Excellent overnight parking rates with their preferred parking spot. Enjoyed a wonderful continental breakfast at the basement restaurant. Will be back!

Lovely people and lovely place in the CBD. Showers were a decent height for tall people. Great food on the laneway below.

Tranquility in the centre of the hotel located on a small street on Little Collins Rd, offers comfortable and well-soundproofed rooms. Microwave and kettle In addition to minibar. We stayed three nights and we enjoyed it. Good breakfast with the possibility of choice sweet/salty. Kindness also at the desk, we had the shuttle to the airport late, they went the extra mile to verify the arrival. Recommended for a stopover in Melbourne.

Nothing says cheap, than two singles beds pushed together, an a sign at reception saying 4 star hotel. When someone books, and pays in advance for two rooms, perhaps don, t demand a further credit card imprint (what are you, motel 6 or a brothel? ). When a customer pays in full, you take the risk of damage.

Arrived too early for check in but just wanted to leave our bags so we didn't have to lug them around for hours. The lovely gentleman at reception said well your room is ready so I'll check you in now & you can drop your bags in your room. Awesome.
The room was spotless, comfy beds.
& very quiet. Only negative I would say is there's no exhaust fan in bathroom. However when I travelled round the world I found this in a lot of hotels.
I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a central location.

Even through you consider this hotel a so-called “non smoking” area, the room we are in reeked of cigarette smoke when we arrived. We just walked in through the main entrance tonight and found people outside, smoking inside the doorway, and even cigarette butts rubbed into the mats in the main entrance (inside the hotel! ). This is completely disgusting, unacceptable and revolting! … The spa bath in our room had a disgusting dirty ring around it (which we ended up cleaning ourselves) along with filthy mould which we told staff about this morning and they said they’d send cleaners up whilst we were out today in order to deal with it.
Nothing’s been done. On the wall in the bathroom, next to the toilet, was a brown “streak” which we could not even stand to have in the room so ended up removing ourselves. We are still staying here until Monday morning, yet would request either your staff offering a room upgrade if they cannot clean this one properly, or refund for the time we’ve stayed here. We will be taking photographs of the filth and will be keeping these for reference if needed or for exposing in reviews elsewhere. Disgusted.

Clean, tidy. Huge bath! Comfortable beds. This is not the hotel if you are after a veiw. Unless your thing is to watch people working in thier office across the ally. Right in the middle of the city. Easy to catch trams.

We were given the wrong rooms upon arrival, (booked twin beds and given a king bed). One staff member was particularly rude about this but it was eventually resolved. Rooms had modern decor, but not clean. Found SMEARED FAECES on the toilet paper, hair in the sink and bath, sink kept blocking. Air conditioning sub par. Included breakfast was poor. Location was perfect though. I would not rate this a 4 star hotel.

A lovely experience! The rooms were clean, bed was made nicely, and the service was not bad. There were a few marks and cracks here and there, but I was still quite happy. And the restaurant downstairs was both cheap and delicious, and although the breakfast offered does leave much to be desired, for a cheap easy breakfast of cereal, toast, pastries, etc. It's quite good. It's all in a convenient location, and very quiet for the middle of the city! I would love to come back again!

Good central location, close to transport, nice clean room.

Clean rooms, adequate buffet breakfast, very close to Collins Street trams. Free Wi-Fi is good.

Great location to stay in Melbourne. Directly in the CBD, within walking range of most of the sights. The hallways emit a smell if mothballs which is more or less fine. The towels have been changed every day, wether we wanted so or not. The hotel is located within a laneway which you might pass without noticing. This gives your a great opportunity to grab something good to eat.

This is a fantastic hotel. The price is good, the location is perfect. We had the king ensuite and it has been super comfy. The blockout blinds are perfect for the long days when you just want to switch off the outside world for a short sleep. Surprisingly roomy. While you're here, pop around you Lindt Cafe for your sweet cravings or the Oriental Tea House for delicious lunch or dinner.

Great location with lots of food options, night life options, nearby. Easily accessible with public transport. Staff are friendly. Rooms are quite clean and well maintained.

Perfectly adequate business hotel. Tidy well presented room but small and no views. Breakfast is fine if you're ok with cereal but the coffee is hideous.

Great hotel. Very central and the room was a very nice size. Breakfast was decent. Couple of minutes walk from the station so easy to get to the airport.

It would have received 5 stars if the air conditioning system functioned properly. Room so hot and the weather was only around 20°. Room too hot to sleep comfortably. Continental breakfast fresh and adequate and family running it wanted to please.

Don't stay here! If you're thinking of staying in Melbourne for a relaxing time, you're better off bringing a sleeping bag and finding a nice corner of Flinders St station then staying here. I wish I could rate this zero because a 1 star rating is far from reality. Terrible management and protocols in regards to patrons feedback with a domestic violence report. Management spent more time covering their trail of poor handling rather then customer satisfaction.

Plenty of space and a huge bubble spa in our room! So local to everything! Check out Bartronica the local pinball and arcade it's super! Betty's burgers on the corner and lord of the fries is 2 mins walk away!

Not bad gym, has a steam room and decently sized room but definatly good location was a bit pricey but good.

I was in Melbourne for a business trip. Causeway 353 was fantastic. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The staff were super friendly as well. I'll diffentely be staying in Causeway 353 the next time I'm here.

Great centrally located well priced hotel. Clean and well maintained rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed with a good sized TV. No robe or hairdryer so bring your own.
Walking distance to most attractions and very close to Melbourne Central Mall if shopping is your passion.
The buffet continental breakfast is slightly boring and a bit limited in choice and could be improved.
We would happily stay here again.

Good hotel! Great location! If I can offer one tip for anyone that stays here: do NOT get the breakfast buffet! It is barely a breakfast buffet, it is barely a breakfast, it has some cereal, which I found a box for and it's Aldi brand although they put it in Kellogg's container. The bread is stale and possibly over a day old, I did talk to staff about this, so the next day the bread was less hard but still stale. Oh it does have croissants. They pretty good if you throw some ham and cheese on them and toast them. Jake the front end guy was super cool too!

Very clean and tidy rooms and bathrooms with enough information. Centrally located in reach to all key offices and foodie places. Liked the professionalism at the service desk and will recommend this to anyone.

Small but okay for short stays.

It's a cheap decent place to stay in Melbourne. Close to the tram lines and right in the middle of the shopping district. Would be nice if they had a hot buffet breakfast but the continental breakfast was still really good. I would stay here again.

Hotel staff great. Trams, restaurants, city at your fingertips. The rooms were very clean. Bathroom very clean. My only gripe was the the air conditioning. We couldn't get it to go cooler. Very hot in the rooms with no opening window. We would stay again but not in a hot period. We were lucky new years eve was coolish. A point of information is the breakfast was disappointing it needs to be stated clearer what is being served in the continental buffet and the PRICE. I say this for dietary reasons. Unsuitable for gluten free or low carb people.

This is one of those hotels that makes you think you are getting a good deal for looking more like an apart hotel than a real one. There are much better values in the same area in Melbourne with a more professional service and staff. In fact this one in particular is really bad when it comes to reception. Amateurs with no knowledge about the area and customer service. Some even rude and unhelpful. Also found the room dirty with stains on the sheets and hair in the shower. I find dirty bathrooms unacceptable when it comes to hotels.

Stayed one night, check in was easy, room was good (Spa Suite). Keycards were hard to use in elevator, air con hopeless (took more than an hour to drop 2°).

Good, central location. A bit small though. I booked through trivago and got a twin room with 2 single beds? It was the cheapest price but who wants single beds (other than cheapskates like me who use trivago)? It's fine!

Great little hotel right in the heart of Melbourne. The room is large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast may be included in the booking. It is a continental breakfast without options for hot meal.

Excellent service and good value for money in the rooms.

Great location but that was all. Service was terrible, dirty windows, had to move suite due to issues with plumbing. Included breakfast had to be had at another hotel due to unforeseen issues. Good if you just need a bed.

Service was very inconsistent, at Check in they were rude, mucked up rooms, nicer again later after muckking up then at check out were going to charge my credit card with mini bar items not even purchased. The first room had live baby cockroaches it in then once moved to second room it was clean. The mattresses were too firm and did not offer a comfortable nights sleep. I have stayed in better, friendlier hostels in melbourne and in hindsight should have done that. I would not recommend this hotel in any stretch of the imagination.

Very convenient, excellent value, very clean and well equipped. A few minutes walk to most places and handy to trams and trains. I am a frequent business traveller and stay here 3 or 4 nights per month. I have had breakfast (good enough) but not tried other meals as Melbourne has plenty of that outside the hotel. A little bit slow on check-in and check-out at peak times, but so what.

Value, service, rooms and especially location is perfekt. Close 2 Flinderstreet station and just a few minutes walk to Crown Casino Complex. CQ Bar is just around the corner.
