Very overpriced … booked a twin bed room (got one bed) took 2 requests and 8 hours for it to be sorted, what looked like a piece of glass on the bedside table was actually someone’s contact lens …. Went to use the spa and it was out of order! Think twice about staying at the overpriced property. Guy.

After being messed around by another hotel we were lucky enough to stay a night at The Pullman. We had the Superior Suite which has amazing views of the city and the gardens. Great room, breakfast, sauna & pool. Special thanks to Franz at reception for a warm welcome and wonderful service. ☺️

My family stayed with the Pullman this long weekend for the first time. We had two rooms on the 19th floor, which we connecting which was very helpful.
The staff were so delightful, helpful and quick to please!
The rooms were amazing, spacious, comfortable and beautiful, with king size beds that were the best beds we have slept on in a hotel. The view was unbelievable the commute between our rooms to the ground floor and car park was so effortless with 4 very spacious elevators is use. We never had to wait.
The hotel it’s self is absolutely beautiful, quite and very easy to get to for us country people who don’t like travelling into the city.
The car park price was very affordable and easy entry and exit points.
Thanks for making our stay a lovely one. We will definitely be back!

One of the best 🏨 in Melbourne. Great atmosphere, good room service n most important is the view from hotel window. Oneside has MCG and another has Yaara park.

Attended a work conference here. Easy access to transport which was great. Also the heating was perfect. Very comfortable environment to sit and listen for long periods of time.

Attended a function tonight. Food was superb especially the entrée is well presented and test amazing, staff were friendly and attentive. Table settings were clean and professional. Overall a great experience.

Fabulous stay. Staff are fabulous from the valet when I arrived to the front desk staff. Efficient, fast & overly helpful, which is not all that common these days. Room was spacious with all expected amenities. Bed was excellent! Only wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Staff always welcoming and helpful. Restaurant is warm and food was great. A great venue for work events… Catering and service was excellent. Tram stop right outside was handy for touring into the city!

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed and quiet. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was well cooked and beautifully seasoned. Serving size was a bit small and pricy. Otherwise service was excellent throughout, checkout quick and staff excellent.

This hotel has been bought buy Accor hotel group and branded Pullman. The renovation of the entire ground floor is a success: the bar area is modern and classy. The entire restaurant is more opened that before in terms of space. Hopefully the rooms will go through a similar refurbishment. The Ac system is outdated and air flows in and out when its not even running. Gym is alright if not busy. Outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi available.

Lovely place. Not over the top and have the best tapas! Close to tram stop. Station. MSG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) and the Rod Laver Tennis Arena. Yes, I'd definitely stay here again.

This was a two night business trip stay, so the hotel was perfectly serviceable. However I would definitely not rate it as a 5 star hotel. The staff were probably the best thing about the hotel, all were excellent, however the rooms were only passable and in need of a refurb — the bathroom in particular. The bar certainly had 5 star prices though. If I had paid for the hotel expecting a 5 star experience, I would have definitely been disappointed and would have complained, probably asking for a different room. My colleagues and I all agreed it was around a 3.5 or maybe 4 star, but was a long way off the 5 stars it claims.

Nice property, great location, but as at May 2018 is still in the process of being refurbished. It needs it, but the staff corks not have made us more welcome.

Popped in there for a drink after the football. Bar staff were friendly and quick. Plenty of seating and standing room available.

Wonderful experience at Pullman, being greeted by Emily at check in and was given an upgrade and complementary drinks in recognition of my status and the special occasion. Room overlooking MCG, and donuts in the room. Couldn't fault the stay and would stay again.

An elegant hotel, previously know as the Hilton. We decided to stay here for our 20th anniversary. We booked a corner suite to mark the occasion as it was the same hotel we stayed in all those 20 years ago. Customer service was nice & friendly. The food & drinks of a great standard & rooms are well appointed. However, cleanliness could be better as we found a used napkin on the floor of the couches area.

I visited the Pullman for a conference so can't comment as a place to stay. As a conference venue it was clean, well serviced, the food was great and all in all a good event. If you're looking for something quirky, this isn't for you. It's a reliable hotel with nice decor away from the hustle of the cbd.

A nice and quiet hotel to stay. Pullman is just close to a beautiful park nice for running, bike riding and relaxation. Not too far from the city centre and across is a big stadium I believe is a legendary cricket ground. Nice staff and comfy beds…

Great staff make the service natural and friendly. Enjoyed the food in the modern and we'll appointed restaurant. The rooms could do with an update but with all amenities.

The hotel was amazing. Staff were all fantastic. Room had great views and was very clean. Bar and breakfast was delightful. Our family had a wonderful stay!

Great view from our room, quick elevators, security to get in with underground parking also has valet if you don't want to park yourself. Very comfortable bed, mini bar and tea or coffee available. Close to sporting and entertainment arena's as well as a quick tram/train or taxi ride to the city for shopping or a night on the town.

The hotel can be defined as correct. Nothing outstanding but overall this well. No free Wi-Fi. It has a heated outdoor swimming pool. The gym's decent. The rooms are large and clean. The bed is quite comfortable.
The CBD is about 15 minutes walking. There's a park nearby. The bar tends to be lively in the evening evening.

I wanted to write: best place ever, but there is a 200 word minimum :) So I can explain. Big Corn island is a pretty basic place, but lovely and very authentic. We were looking for a nice beach and some private time. Well this was a dream come true. Especially for big corn! The guys working there were so friendly, they came running to help us and to be honest. You dont need much else than the view and the beach in front of the hotel. Private white sand beach and clear blue waters. It felt like a dream!   For dinner: the first place from the hotel has Great lobster with garlic sauce!

Used their car park for casual parking. Their ticket machine was out of order but the staff were super friendly and helpful. Parking was tight, though — wouldn't recommend for larger vehicles.

The Pullman Melbourne is nicely located near the city with access to tram. The whole experience was good having stayed in a suite near the top floor with great views. Although the hotel room itself is not the one I expected. I have been on other Pullman in Olympic Park in Sydney and it was quite nice and the building appears new. On the other hand the one in Melbourne felt dated and it was obvious through the carpets and curtains. The sofa bed appears old and dusty. Incidentally my daughter's allergies got triggered which we were not sure if it was due to the ice cream she had with supposedly no nuts or the dust from the room. She ended up staying in an emergency hospital overnight. When we came back to the hotel early morning we asked for a late checkout and we were given a very late checkout. We are so grateful for this consideration. The only other thing is the pool which my daughter was excited to use but was closed for some reason. Overall it was still a pleasant experience.

We had a great overnight stay — the location was suburb as I was heading in for surgery at St Vincents Hospital on Grey Street the following day This was only a short walk away. My husband and I dined in the on site restaurant and enjoyed the meal and cannot fault the service. Would be happy to recommend and would stay again. Excellent customer service by all. Thankyou!

We loved our corner suite with new modern bathroom and plenty of space. The new extended bar sets the mood as do the outfits the barmen wear! We thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of the 'seafood buffet', which rather than having endless concoctions, perfected tastefully a few. Very refreshing for the old 'buffet' from the past.

Extremely dissatisfied and not to be stayed at again. One of the two biggest weekends on Melbourne's annual sporting calendar. I was there four days / three nights and from night one the TV was not working, complained and was told they were all like this and is being addressed. Day two came and went with same problem. Complained, noting I was paying prices that were extremely steep as opposed to a few weeks ago and was advised that staff were aware of it and it was being worked on, otherwise nothing could be done. Day three came and went with issue still not sorted. Again complained to no avail. Last morning and was still not working properly — was still pixelating and commentary was delayed by 10 seconds after the event. Second issue, not as big, was mini bar. I noted at start that it had not been refilled and was advised someone will be going through that afternoon and will refill it — was never done in all the time I was there.

Could not use the restaurant in the evening because they only offered seafood buffet and am allergic to seafood. There was no option for a la carte menu therefore had to eat away from hotel which was a shame. The hotel rooms are nice but a little tired. I understand that a refurbishment project is underway which overtime should improve the rooms appearance and functionality. As they are they, they are spacious and comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you very much.

We were extremely impressed with the service of the staff and presentation of hotel. We were unaware of the relaunch and opening of the restaurant. On inspection we decided to dine there in preference to going out. Once again the staff were welcoming, professional and interactive. The food quality and presentation was 5 star. We will definitely return.

The Pullman remains my hotel of choice in Melbourne. It's position opposite the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens ensure a lovely 15 minute walk into the heart of the city. A tram stop outside the hotel gets you there in 10 minutes. The renovated lobby & restaurant look great. The reception staff & those working in the restaurant are friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. If you get the opportunity the service in the Executive Lounge is excellent & I highly recommend it.

Great location. Room adequate. Bathroom great bench. Shower taps down low. Bit of a challenge to not get drenched while turning them on/off. Great view of the MCG. And Fitzroy Gardens next door. A real treat. Buffet breakfast ticked all the boxes. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Tram stop right out front. Easy to get into the city.

We saw your Hotel in a deal so we thought we would try it. We were there in July 2017, both ;liked the location and the room was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the Executive Lounge on the 18th floor. Parking was easy. Breakfast was great too. Guess what, We have booked again for August. Great place for anyone.

On arrival the lovely staff advised we had been upgraded to an Executive room with access to the Executive Lounge, and all the benefits this entailed this was a wonderful surprise and made our stay that much more memorable. The location was perfect for our plans for the weekend and the ambiance of the hotel was great, we can only imagine how much nicer it will be once the renovations are complete. Only a few things stood out that kept us from giving a 10/10 rating, the mattress wasn't the most comfortable, there was no mattress protector on the bed and there were no pillow toppers available. And a massive thank you to all the staff, they made our weekend getaway an amazing time and a treasured memory.

Reception staff on arrival were pleasant and efficient. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts were delicious and staff handled the crowds with smiles and efficiency. Check out Sunday was busy due to football crowd but proceeded smoothly. Looking forward to returning once renovations are completed! The location is perfect whether you wish to walk through the lovely Fitzroy Gardens, explore East Melbourne or use public transport.

Having booked a balloon flight for my husband and I for our first anniversary I thought I would book a room at the Pullman on the park as this was the pick up point for our ballooning experience. We arrived on Saturday afternoon expecting a nice but basic room as I had opted for one of the cheaper options, When checking in the lovely man at the desk said he had a surprise for us and that we have been upgraded. We were very excited and told him how nice this would be as it was our anniversary, he then offered us free champagne to celebrate. We were taken to our room (or should I say penthouse) it was the most beautiful 2 story apartment with stunning views, we could believe how lucky we were. Our balloon flight was terrific and we then returned to the Pullman for a lovely breakfast. It was an amazing anniversary, and we thank the Pullman on the park for there wonderful service.

Room was neat and clean although had to really search to find the air-conditioner. The room actually had an unusual smell about it. It wasn't enough for me to ask for a room change but it was in-your-face when you walked into the room. I like having fresh air so I used the open window but renovations on the train tracks below by council (? ) on the Thursday night kept me up at times. Breakfast was okay too given the renovations and staff were pleasant. Nothing outstanding in the stay to make me really want to come back to this hotel over others.

The room is quite dated and you can hear clearly noise from outside (people walking & slamming the door or even the shower or toilet flush from the room next door) when you are in bed. So I woke up several times because of that. The bed is not comfortable cause they connect twin bed together. I can feel the gap in middle of the bed. Hotel is like my second home because I travel a lot. I always stay at 4-5 star as our company's benefit. This is one of the rare hotels that not offer free Wi-Fi in room and free only 30 minutes in the lobby. I wake up early in the morning for the gym but it is in renovation at the moment. Wow, really sad sad experience with Pullman Melbourne on the park = ( (If im back here for vacation, I will never choose this hotel.

Good hotel overall. Staff generally friendly, location ok with CBD 15 minute walk. 2 negatives for me. Gym was being renovated when I stayed and this was not highlighted anywhere on the hotels website. Also whilst very clean, bathroom had over powering smell of chlorine. Otherwise, solid older style 5 star hotel.

Attended professional conference here did not stay overnight so cannot comment the quality of the rooms. Services and conference rooms all fine. Food of reasonable quality. Main gripe was on-site parking — expensive; only one ticket machine to pay for parking to leave with a long queue waiting to use it which was broken and not accepting credit cards. Also lift from parking to lobby was very old and felt like it would break down as it was used.

Attended a Dermatology conference here, very professional and the service was great, the conference rooms were fitted out nicely with water, pens and pads, and their audio system worked well. The lunch we were provided was very tasty food with a great variety of options. Only their parking system requires improvement as there's only one machine available for payment and it doesn't accept cards. Otherwise a very pleasant experience.

I went there just to see a friend, but the door man was really nice to me. The accomodation was very comfortable and spacious. My friend was loving the experience.

Had a lovely 3 night stay. It is outside the free tram zone. There are a few nice places to eat nearby and it is very convenient for watching the tennis and cricket. The building and interior are quite dated but I liked the historic interior. The staff were excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Room size was reasonable but not hugely spacious. They were clean however there is no option to not have your room cleaned. The buffet breakfast was excellent — it had a huge range of food. I would return if I visited Melbourne again.

Room have a designg flaw where the fire alarm can be activate with the steam from the shower. Instead of correcting the problem the first thing they do is to threat with a fine in case the fire alarm activate in your room.

Service was great but the the building and rooms are becoming dated. The restaurant and bar are very over priced, with the meals of a terrible standard and size considering the price — my young children still would have been hungry. I would stay there again but will be finding somewhere else to enjoy my meals.

My partner and I decided to stay at Pullman Melbourne on the Park as it was the hotel of choice for a friend's wedding. The customer service started off strong, as we booked with the hotel directly. When we arrived the Valet was professional, cheerful and courteous. The concierge/reception was helpful and efficient, during an obviously busy time in Melbourne. The room was well presented and comfortable.

I attended a business workshop on the 28th February, and the presentation of the hotel was stellar. Not to mention the food during the break was cake and pork buns (nothing short of amazing). The event was held in ballroom 3, and the design of the room was very luxurious, and to be honest the design of the room was so beautiful I often got distracted and for a few minutes and just got lost in the wall decals. An amazing hotel for a function.

Great view of one the World's most iconic stadiums, the MCG. Room was clean and well presented. Not as modern as one would expect but all mod cons are available.

Went here for a Christmas function which took place in the old library of Clivenden house that stood where the Hotel is now. Fantastic atmosphere and good company.

The hotel is in a pleasant setting near the lovely Fitzroy Gardens and Cooks cottage and a short walk to the City. Train station and tram stop right opposite the hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff and I enjoyed my executive room with access to lounge. All good. Only minor issue is maybe an update to toilet for modern flush. Quiet on 18th floor and my southern facing room had a spectacular view of the MCG. I would thoroughly recommend.

Visited for a function. The level of detail was quite extraordinary. It was a casino themed event and had gaming tables, rather good chocolate Casino chips, the bar was appropriately themed also. The finger food was some original twists on your regular finger food fare. All in all, a great night.

We were celebrating my daughters birthday and we absolutely loved the lunch at Pullman on the Park. Had a lovely table over looking the park across the road. Food was great, plenty of fresh oysters, prawns. A seafood lovers paradise. Loved their candy section. But I did want to mention the staff. They were brilliant. Two in particular, Brian and Stephanie. Both waiting staff who have been working there for years. They were very attentive and it's such a pleasure to have staff like that who enjoy their job, and it shows.

I'm staying here for 4 days, staff have been incredible, absoloute stars of the show. Disappointed that you have to pay for Wi-Fi in a 5 star hotel — other than that I can't fault it. Cleaners have been exceptional, down to noticing tiny details such as how many tea bags needed topping up and doing things at a time that suited me. Really pleased with the service, will reccomend to my friends and family.

Exterior of the Pullman looks like Melbourne commission housing. Dated, old, brown, tired. Needs a refurbishment ASAP.

Fantastic hotel to stay! My partner and I stayed for a week and it was so peaceful and close walking to everywhere we wanted to go! This place has the best selection of staff we have ever encountered! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was incredible and a special shout out to Brian in the meals department for being extra awesome and catering to our every need with no hassle what so ever! Awesome Pullmans THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Great location. Wi-Fi is terrible (on top floor) Expected more for the price paid.

Excellent service, efficient and extremely friendly. Nothing was any trouble. We were thrilled with the upgrade and views over the MCG. Drinks in the bar and a delicious dinner in the restaurant. Again, service was impeccable. Nakita in the restaurant, you made my night with your friendly chatter. Thank you to all for the perfect stay.

Facilities are either broken or out of date, obvious shortcuts taken. Staff are very pleasant though it.

We stayed 4 nights and we loved it, very clean and tidy, with the best service that we could have asked for, we already have mentioned it to family and friends. What agreat place to stay, train and trams right outside the front door and beautiful parks across the road for walking, the river walk and the CBD are so close. We walked there most days. My main complaint about this hotel is that the Internet is absolutely dreadful. I have to sit next to the window to keep from getting bumped off. Fix it folks.

We stayed three nights, lovely hotel, breakfast was nice, our room was located near the lifts which unfortunately kept me up most of the night each night. Very noisy, returned home extremely tired, which annoyed me considering we chose this hotel to relax.

I've always gotten first class treatment here. The rooms have been excellent (relaxation suite) and the value has been great (I qualify for a government rate). The view from the executive lounge is spectacular. Access to parks, sporting facilities, and river walk is quick and easy. I love it here.

We were given an upgrade to a suite. The room and facilities were well appointed. But was stuffy when we first entered the room and the pod UHT milk in the bar fridge was turned. " room service replaced it with fresh milk". The restaurant menu was lacking, the waitress was pushy and unfriendly. And they tried to over charge us when we checked out. (You got the impression the staff were uninspired and begrudged there work. ) Frankly I expected better.

Service at the highest level. The location is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, the beds are large. We stayed in a hotel on new year's Eve. To view all the beautiful places in salutes 15-minute walk from the hotel. The food in the hotel restaurant was very tasty, especially the desserts. Also loved the outdoor pool with +35 heat outside, it has become a real paradise. An excellent hotel. To all I recommend.
