Love it here — a bit expensive though @ $105 for a powered site.

Great location to beach shops and restaurants.

Great park, very clean amenities, right next to the beach. Plenty of grass and a good little playground for the kids. Highly recommend.

Great spot to stay, close to everything and easy walk to beach and shops. Only downside was our esky getting taken from our caravan.

What a fabulous place to stay! We only stayed 2 nights but will be back for sure. Our cabin slept 6 of us comfortably, was very generous in size and spotlessly clean. The location of the park was lovely with direct access to the beach and the staff were super friendly. Definitely highly recommend to anyone!

It was great great weather good food great people wish we could have longer time but my daughter at to go back to work hope to go again next year mkelly.

Great spot to spend a week holidaying with the kids. The parks January school holiday program was a winner and sunny weather saw us making great use of the beach daily.

Poor attitude towards customers and park managers don’t like it when proven wrong and then accuse you. Cabin was dirty when we got there and then we brought this matter to their attention we were told well why don’t you just clean it then haha it’s not our place to clean it as that should of been done before we checked in. No Wi-Fi as when we booked we were told the whole park has access to free Wi-Fi no matter which part of the park they stay in. This place is a joke and the people running it have no idea as how to run it or how to treat customers.

Beautiful, peaceful place, close to the beach. Very well maintained facilities & helpful caretakers.

Location is good, close to shop away, although listing mentioned it was "on the beach" when actually the cottage we stayed was around 5 to 10 min walk.

The location was great. There was nice brewery and ice cream shops right in front of the accommodation. The beach was close and the accommodation is cozy.

We love location and staff very helpful getting us setup. They've got a 3 park pass which is great value for money. But as most always in Caravan parks the internet connectivity is poor and nothing is different here. The only negative here is the TV reception is non existent with standard Aerial. Overall I would recommend Torquay caravan park.

Nice quite location, close to shopping. Nice clean amenities and handy gates to the beach, front gates to shops, which means you don't always have to go through main entrance. Will definitely stay here again.

We had such an amazing stay at Torquay caravan park. Our Seaview cabin was beautiful, clean and fully stocked (all we needed to take were beach towels! ) The location is perfect for a family adventure with just a ten minute walk (or scooter ride! ) down the esplanade to all the family friendly cafes you could ever wish for! The beach access is pretty superb too! Highly recommended! We can't wait to go back!

The main toilet block near the oval were not clean… very disappointing. My husband spent most of yesterday in bed as he suspects he picked some bug up from these amenities.

Very disappointed, on dirt, with No TV reception in a ghostlike area of the park, caravans but no people. Wondered through the large park and there are plenty of lovely grassy sites with people but when I asked was there any sites near the beach, the receptionist said with the long weekend coming up everything is booked, we are leaving on Friday morning and there are still plenty of better sites available. It’s a shame because Torque is such a beautiful spot but I will remember it as a terrible camping spot.

The excessive price is not worth absolutely the quality of the services offered: bathrooms not working and to take advantage of it you had to walk on the other side of the campsite, clean toilets and a small number of showers that resulted in the tail to wash. In the hours of use, the water at the water/electricity column of the Caravan was not available and sufficient to cover the request. Very friendly staff.
But very close to the beach, walks, shops, bars and clubs that have still made us opt for this choice.

Expensive (especially in peak season) but great caravan park. We couldn't have had a better campsite, powered & right beside the beach with room enough for three tents. Location only slightly annoying at night as the gate is locked but people try to access the beach constantly. Shower blocks clean & modern. Large camp kitchen. Playground with bouncing pillow. There's supposed to be free Wi-Fi but I couldn't connect to it, not overly concerned as I have 4G coverage here. Checkout is 10am.

Great location within easy walking distance to Torquay Surf beach and walking tracks around the coastline. Short walking distance to cafés, specialty shops and pub. Lots of big shady trees and well maintained grounds. The amenities are a little dated but very clean. Small but well equipped camp kitchen. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Crowdy place, we have the same experience about amenities as Alex. Nice location.

It is an nice decent sized Canavan Park right near the water, very clean and peaceful.

Disappointing, would not refund a one night stay when we were no longer able to come. Not peak season. Just plain greedy. Not recommending this place to anyone, ever.

We stayed in a powered site. The place didn't have much going for it apart from being walking distance to the beach. It just felt like you were another number. The showers were timed and the lights went off mid shower. We were a family of 4 staying and they only gave us 1 key to the amenities, so it was a waiting game if you required the toilet whilst someone was away with the key. Not always great with young kids who need to go "now type situation". We imagine in peak season everyone would be packed in like sardines.

The campsite is very well equipped and is very large. It has shops and restaurants just across the street and is close to the beach. The only downside is that there is much hassle (for my taste) and a little expensive (20 Australian dollars per head)

Everything I expected and more. Camp kitchen is well stocked. Campsite was super close to the beach. Great place.

Well we stayed there for a night. The arrangementd were amazing. They had everything basic like hot shower, table, cups, cutlery, tv, aircon, kitchen. Plus ts very very close to the main market in Torquay and the beach is just few minutes away walk. I will definitely refer this one to my friends and will stay here again whenever I visit Torquay.

Great facilities, seemed pretty secure with the pin coded entry/exit gates, however when we stayed there, there was some display of off-road camper trailers/caravans complete with concert being held… thought it was inappropriate for the different entertainers/bands to be telling jokes about "foot and a half long penises", and poems mentioning Indians as "curry munchers" in front of a family crowd and mostly children. Poor form.

Great location. Clean with good amenities. Packed in like sardines over Christmas/New Year although it is a peak period. One of the toilet blocks (Bell St. End) is overdue for a refurbish/modernisation. Use one of the others. Staff seem okay.

I like how cute the cabins are but I didnt like how we could only pay and stay for one day! I wish we could stay much longer didnt take in the full Torquay experience. Definitely recommend to friends.

Have stayed for a couple of years over the 4 week Christmas period. Supposedly stayed in a "family" area. Nothing but swearing and carrying on by the groups of younger teenagers. Different campsites competing with each other to play there music the loudest. In these "family" areas. The parents book the site. Set it up and then let their children run wild for a few weeks before they come down after everyone else has gone home fed up. After putting up with this for a few years of this, we will not be returning.

The team at Foreshore Caravan Park were absolutely disgusting. On arrival there was discrimination in regards to our gender and age demographic. I didn't want to cause trouble as we had just started our holiday, so I let it be. Day of check out we were yelled at. Yes yelled by staff to clean our mess up TWO HOURS BEFORE CHECK OUT. When I went to check out, I told the person that 'claims' to be the manager how horrible I thought his customer service is. He followed with a claim that our group made two campsites move at 12am because we were loud. But we actually left the campsite at 10.30pm and came back at 4am, so we must off been making a lot of noise from 5kms down the road! Finally in response to my feedback, he told me that I was "Not welcome here again". I would not go back there in a heart beat. And I will make sure no one I know does.

Stayed at the Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park last weekend. Great location, heaps of powered sites right on the beach. Most sites I saw are level with a concrete pad to park your van. There are also quite a few sites in amongst shady trees which would be great come summer. The top end of the park is opposite a nice pub, bottle shop, and a heap of take-away shops. The toilets and showers are clean and modern. Office staff were very friendly. I have heard some people complaining about the 4 minute hot water in the showers, but seriously, if you can't shower in 4 minutes in a caravan park then you are inconsiderate to the other people waiting! Will definitely stay here again. 8/10.

We arrived in Torquay late so the office was closed, but security will take some money off you in cash. We paid $27 and parked in a random space! The amenities were all nice and clean and the camp seemed reasonably friendly. Its a short distance to the beach, and town starts just beyond the gates.

The people who run the park and the security they hire are pedantic assholes. It is amazing that the security think they can tell people who are sitting, talking quietly in their secluded site to "go to bed or we'll call the police". If you want to get treated like a piece of dirt, go here. If you want to have an enjoyable trip, look elsewhere.
