More of a restaurant feel than a pub. Food and service are well done. Playing and presentation is well above standard. The menu range is quite extensive.

For over a decade, the Brougham Arms has been a pillar of consistent quality, such that I would characterise it in a word: dependable. More recently, however, I would add a second word: pricey. Such that it is getting more difficult to justify even the occasional foray on my middle-to-low income. If there's a lesson to be learned, it's that sometimes less is more. Increased portion sizes is not the only way to narrow the ROI deficit. Just once, I'd like to have room for dessert rather than feel compelled to engorge myself to the point of physical discomfort just to rationalise getting my money's worth. Or, put more succinctly, the chicken parmigiana does not need to cover the entire plate. Just saying.

Just had a drink — super nice bar staff. Great escape from the winter chills.

Solid dinning, with decent menu. Awesome desserts. Pretty much my family's go to restaurant in bendigo.

Beautifully cooked pork belly. Service was very professional. Don't think my friends chips were thrice cooked but a lovely meal indeed.

Great service and good selection of beers, bar for has gotten a bit pricey though, almost $30 for a counter meal steak that was cooked properly (Rare) but also a pretty dry, needed the gravy. Good pool table as well!

Service has always been top notch and the bistro is the perfect cross between gourmet and traditional pub food and atmosphere. Love coming here.

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment. Very modern. Large rooms. Outdoor private dining area. Kitchen has a lot of space and largish fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster only.

Went tonight and was very happy with the friendly service we received. Meal was great. Will recommend to others. Thank you again for being nice, welcoming and pleasant to your customers.

Meal was great and catered to GF easily. Lack of service with table water for a medium sized group. Everyone else's meals looked good.

This place was incredible. So close to everything but out of the bustle… My family of two adults and two children were overnight guests and also dined at the restaurant. The room was comfy and warm, very updated and a large updated bathroom. The food was great.! Adults loved their meals and the kids meal was enjoyed. All our deserts were tasty also. Staff was warm and friendly. Drinks were lovely. We loved it so much we booked an overnight stay for our trip back through to home while we sat at the dinner table. We pass through Bendigo as a half way point in an 11 hour trip most school holidays and we'll be regular guests from now on.

Nice restaurant. Quiet motel rooms with good heater. Had steak cooked rare and done well. Slowed cooked beef check was lovely. Nice wines too.

Warm comfortable up market pub. The service was really excellent and so was the food. We were especially impressed with the sous vide chicken. Very good. We had a glass of local wine from a quite satisfactory wine list. Dessert was good. The only jarring note was very weak coffee . The beans they use are local and good so they need to train up their coffee maker. No top marks until then but good enough service I felt quite happy with leaving a good tip for a great waitress.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. The food was an interesting and very tasty blend of more traditional good old English feed with Asian influences — or at least that's my take on it. Lots of respect for the more responsible portion size. Even still I certainly wasn't hungry at the end.

The rooms have a nice modern interior, and are very clean. Great location thats walking distance to Bendigo Station.

Good vegetarian options. Had the gnocchi which was quite nice.

Awesome venue, service, menu & atmosphere. My hubby & I went to the Broughy on a Friday night & sat out in the recently renovated out door area & had a great night :).

My old folks and I decided to go there for lunch. They had the lamb and I had the slow cooked spicy beef. It was all amazing. Perfect.

The location is amazing. Nice and close to town, easy to spot so you won't get lost. The staff are amazing, super nice. The service provided is top quality. With drink lists adequately filled, with a large variety of drinks. Overall a really great place for a drink and meal before going elsewhere.

Simply Amazing! Without question The Best Pub in Bendigo for food. Not the cheapest, but certainly the most memorable. Heaps better than Melbourne or Sydney. Honestly!

Trendy furniture, with quick and excellent food. We finished our our meal just 40 minutes after ordering. The Parma's were on point and could only have been better if the chips weren't under the parma.

Easy to see why the head chef Greg Egan won Golden Plate Chef of the year for the second year in a row. Refurb looks great.

Gnocchi, it's either good or terrible, but at the Broughie it is AWESOME, from the first but to the last. Congratulations Kitchen.

Went there for dinner the other night. Not the most welcoming pub I've been to. High prices for just ok meals. Probably won't go again.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about! The bar attracts a seedy crowd, the food is very average and extremely overpriced. Adding to this, we went there for a function last week and not only were the first four meals finished before the other twenty started to come out, but when this was mentioned, the waitress was hostile and openly rude throughout the entirety of the night. A complete waste of time and money, although the bar service is efficient and friendly, I will not return.

Friendly staff, $13.50 Parmas, tasty Barramundi with a generous serve of Asian greens, TAB, pool table, what more do you need.

A definite surprise. Having had a drink a few times at this hotel always found the clientele a little on the seedy side. Took my mother there today for lunch. A delicious chicken curry stir fry and equally delicious frittata was ordered. Only one waitress was serving meals who was exceptionally accommodating due to our short lunch break.
