Fantastic pub, great meal very friendly staff. Very interesting picture wall of the history in the local area.

We dropped in at the Weldborough for lunch today and I can honestly say that I had absolutely the best burger EVER. Given the glorious weather we decided to eat outside in what once upon a time would've been called the beer garden. The service was great, the meal excellent and my fella was very impressed with the craft brew. Thoroughly recommended!

We just walked in and are Free Camping out the back behind this hotel. John (the owner) came over and was just amazing. I Absolutely Recommend This Place! Great Hot Showers/Toilet plenty of room to put up a tent or caravan… and the Meals. Yummy and great price. We can see this place is definitely going to be in Our Top 10 places on our Travels. Around this beautiful country.

Hello, we were recommended to come up to this historic hotel by owners cousin.
A friendly hotel with nice atmosphere. Recommend BLT, fresh. Of course I had a Perry cider from my favourite Willie Smith. Great surroundings outside for overnight. Nice to meet you.

Terrible service. Waited nearly 2 hours for lunch meals. In the end had to leave. And get a refund. Will not be going back.

Simple, no frills and clean. Perfect if you are riding or hiking. Food is great. Easy access to most trails.

We stayed one night in our campervan. Cost is only $10pp for an unpowered site. The pub was cosy and had a nice log fire. We had a good hearty meal here and enjoyed a few glasses of wine. Locals are friendly.

This pub is not one you will come across easily, but if you ride Blue Tier or Atlas it is the perfect meeting place. They have a great range of food and a cosy outdoor garden to eat in. The meals were really tasty and worked a treat after bombing down Big Chook. The only drawback is that they seem to be a little bit heavy on the pricing considering where they are. The shuttle companies patronise them well and I hope they are not taking advantage of the captive market.

Great stop for a bit halfway down the mountain. Very accommodating pub, excellent steak sandwich.

Quaint historic country pub with camping at rear of pub. $10 / person per night with toilets and showers. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. The Pot Pie was delicious. Ambiance was okay and improved as more people came in for dinner.

Beautiful historic pub/hotel with campground. Campground has a toilet and shower block. Great meals, vegetarian friendly, plus beer and ciders from every brewer in Tasmania. Rooms are old but cosy and clean with the option of a detached bunk house or detached two bedroom apartment if you don't want to stay in the hotel rooms. Service is friendly and helpful, with local knowledge of bike trails and fossicking areas. Have stayed several times and plan to stay many more.

Decent food, good beer selection, but can be a little busy. Hard cut-off time for lunch (2pm) can be a bit of a shock if unexpected.

This is a little gem on a bend in the Weldborough Pass rainforest! Stopped for a quick light dinner at 7pm. Four hours, three courses, apéritifs, wine & coffee later, we were well sated & happily ensconced! Had work & a 2-3hr drive home not spoilt it, we would easily have stayed longer. The atmosphere & the People that run it are marvellous. Our meals were honestly first class, well sourced, plentiful & downright delicious! We will eagerly be making return visits.

Stopped through on our way to the coast on recommendation by someone at a winery and I couldn't be more happy with the beef burger. It was so good that I didn't even stop to clean my face, it was that satisfying! Would highly recommend to anyone travelling tasmania!

The Weldborough hotel has the best pub food we've had for a long time! Highly recommend the slow cooked beef pot pie, with a pint of honey porter, bloody amazing! It put us into a proper happy food coma, we're just sorry we didn't have time to come back for seconds the following evening.

Want to extend a big thank you for having us last night when a pack of 12 of us turned up unannounced amid the chaos of two large events. Its our first time staying under the new management. The staff were great, helpful and even though it was a busy night they always made the time to serve us with a smile even while incredibly under the pump. We will be back again next year, promise to call ahead this time.
