This is a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated, walking through the paddock past the friendly sheep to sit at the hut near the creek, and the amazing breakfasts are just some of its attractions. It’s a lovely place from which to explore the region.

In need of some relaxation and pampering then Harpers on the Beach is the place to go. The rooms and food are outstanding, Jill went above and beyond to make our stay special. We booked our next visit on check out and can not wait to go back. Thank you so much.

We were looked after by the hosts with their Beach Cottage when our other accommodation let us down the day prior to our booking. Right at the beach this cottage had 2 bedrooms and everything we could have wanted for our 2 night stay. It’s proximity to Port Arthur Historical Site was a bonus.

We stayed in the Studio apartment for 1 night. The room was immaculately clean, facilities were beautifully maintained and breakfast was just perfect, presented and cooked to perfection. I Highly recommend this delightful accommodation with its exquisite location hard on the waterfront with very friendly and competent owners who go the extra mile to welcome and make for a memorable stay.

Quite a lovely little spot, it is essentially a BnB with the comforts of a hotel room, located on the beach front… Very pretty.

A lovely place to relax whilst seeing the sights of Port Arthur. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Great quality breakfast included and the option for dinner is appreciated.

As we approached the large security controlled gate at the end of a quiet road we rang the bell and Jill our Host was there on the porch to welcome us to her home. Harpers on the Beach is a impressive BNB on the water at Whites Beach. Now if you are like me the BNB thing normally makes you a little nervous this place will change your mind. We followed Jill into the communal dining and lounge a large open space decorated beautifully very comfortable. She gave us a run down on everything we needed to know gave us our key to our room and went upstairs to her private quarters. There was about her couple staying in room 2 we had room 1 at the front of the house. The room was larger than any hotel room we had stayed in of late with a mini bar large ensuite and a small flat screen TV/DVD. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the linen luxurious. There was also a private deck with chairs and table over looking the garden and the water. The views were great and if you walked about 10 meters down the path you would be standing on the perfect beach. White sand and crystal clear water almost private beach. We decided after coming back from dinner in town that night to enjoy the BNB experience and share a bottle of local bubbles sitting back on the comfortable old leather chairs in the lounge chatting to the guests in the next room. Who also had no idea they had booked BNB either and were pleasantly surprised like us.

We had a great time at Harpers on the Beach. It is in a beautiful spot and we were very well looked after. We thoroughly recommend it.

This really was a great spot, very rural and peaceful and right on the beach. Spacious and well appointed rooms and excellent hosts. We had dinner on the first night which was delicious too. Would highly recommend.

We loved this cozy bed and breakfast run by some charming people. The house is right on the beach and we enjoyed a lovely walk on the beach after a delicious breakfast prepared by the hostess. Very comfortable and clean. We recommend without hesitation.

Amazing place in an amazing location.

Loved this place! As you walk out of your bedroom, you are only a few steps away from a stunning beach. Room was also very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere.

Soft white silk curtains in the ocean breeze with a home dine in experience that sets the bar high for the area. The venison casserole was delicious! Thanks Jill!

Fabulous location and amazing accommodation… well appointed with attention to detail. Jill and John welcomed us into their home and provided us with helpful information about the area and Tassie in general. Great breakfast and delicious evening meal. Will certainly recommend to family and friends.

Could not fault anything about this B&B. We were made feel welcome right from the off and felt right at home. Absolutely delightful trip which makes it even tougher to return to work. Jill is a fantastic cook and has a wealth of information on what to get up to while you're there. We'll be back.
