Very welcoming staff food was really awesome. It was my birthday and gave us lot of surprises. Staff was great. Must visit place 😍🥰

Had a wedding there.
Restaurant struggles when there are lots of people, but as a wedding venue it was brilliant.
Stunning views, they did an amazing job and things were perfect on the day. Catering was tasty and they went the extra mile to make sure people were happy.
As a venue I couldn’t recommend them more.

Spectacular location. Great food and service.

Lovely place and location but terrible customer service. Power outage for 12 hours freezing night with no contact from management or offer or torches, candles, extra blankets or meal options. Whilst the outage was not their fault such a large place should have a back up plan and procedures in place to deal with such times.

We just spent 2 nights in a Maria villa — (family of 4) views were stunning, meals were absolutely beautiful and the staff are just lovely. Our boys absolutely loved the facilities. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

I have just spent three nights at this amazing resort with my two grandchildren. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It is so kid friendly, great ammenities and friendly helpful staff from the reception staff, through to the housekeeping staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic time and the children were sad to leave. Will definitely be back. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Friendly staff. Family rooms need an upgrade but clean and spacious. Great meal at the restaurant. Fantastic pools and great games room.

Def not disable friendly, brown water coming out of the shower, very dated very disappointed doesn't compare to our stay this time last year around the front of the complex ☹☹

Such a lovely place with pools tennis, basket balls courts, spa, anamazing Restaurantwith Sea food and other, but nowhere to hang wet clothes swimmers towels, only over our car. We need hanging space there. A holiday of a lifetime, thanks Jess.

Only downfall is nowhere to hang wet clothes and being a family of 6 that was challenging when not wanting to use dryers and also no cleaning facilities in the cabin not even a broom.

Spent the last 6 days here with all the kids and grandkids. We had an amazing time with playground, BBQs, pools and overall very friendly staff. We will be back Thanks to Eastcoater for making our holiday one to remember ❤❤

Have stayed at Eastcoaster motel and always had great time. Still have photos of grandies taken in the pool area. I also enjoyed the meals and friendly atmosphere.

We are currently here we leave tomorrow been here a week. The staff are amazing they go above and beyond to make your stay a fantastic one.
There meals are delicious.
It’s a very beautiful place to stay at the east coaster.

We celebrated our grand daughters 2nd birthday and because of the facilities the spacious rooms and the dining room to the side of the main room we could not of asked for anything better your staff looked after us and your chef is amazing No one if could find a fault So yheregor yhis will be a annual event

I booked the budget room. I was so surprised about the size. A large room with kitchenette and separate bathroom. Very clean with a seafood restaurant on the premises.

Nice, & very comfy rooms. Amazing food, spa and service.

Great place all done up like new again. Their is a new tavern great food. Great for the kids and the staff is so friendly.

Had a meal with the family on Tuesday evening. Top service, great venue and great food. Took a while to come out but super busy and wait staff kept us up to date. Nice option for quality food in the area.

Lovely relaxing stay. Very friendly and professional staff. Room wasn’t ready for us to check in, we were offered a free drink in the wine bar while we waited, it was only about 15 minutes till they rang and let us know it was ready. Lovely and clean.

Great service, friendly staff, delicious food. Loved the pool and spa too, and almost got to swim with a seal in the bay out front.

Very friendly staff. Lovely modern clean room. 2 seater couch is a bit small though, could do with another one. Certainly enough room for one more. Food at the restaurant was amazing and very well priced. The coffee panacotta was to die for! Loved it there.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights. I cannot fault the staff, from check in, restaurant and check out, they have been very pleasant and welcoming. The room, hmmm, no privacy as you can look straight in from the carpark (unless you want to keep the curtains drawn, and really, who wants to do that)! The bathroom is lovely, but it would be better if there was water pressure in the shower. It took, what seemed like forever, to get my hair wet enough to shampoo (I didnt even contemplate conditioning). We also went to the grand opening of the restaurant, fantastic! Food was delicious, staff very friendly.

The accommodation was good. Very clean. Very basic furnishings for something that has been refreshed and refurbished. No coffee table to put your cup on when sitting on sofa was a pain. Looking at a pic of paris on the wall was strange when you are in such beautiful surroundings. Local photography or paintings would be better. Staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. Would stay again.

As a senior manager myself it was great to see the Manager Daniel focused on his customer service. He seen an opportunity to satisfy us when required without asking and was great to see there was the right person in the right job of this resort. Great to see this in the tourism industry as it's not shown everywhere you go. Room was great and dinner was great thanks to Tammy and the staff. Great work guys from the Gyles Family and we will be back for sure.

Great outlook, clean & modern rooms. Heaps of facilities pools, tennis court, gym, basketball court, playground etc. Would have been handy to have kitchenette. Staff polite and friendly.

The new Seafood bar is good. A pleasant venue excellent service, tasty food and a wonderful view over the water.

Nice sized room but reception for Wi-Fi poor. The reception area was unattended and we had to call a mobile to get someone to come. Put in a room with a faulty door catch. The reception guy said he noticed it earlier and the maintenance man was coming the next day to fix it. So why did he put us in that room if he knew it was faulty when there were heaps of empty rooms? Nice view and good facilities for families.

I am loving this place more and more! The food at the Seafood and Wine Bar was absolutely divine! The renovations are outstanding. A perfect place to get away for the weekend! Kids loved the pool and the play equipment. Parking is super easy! Definitely recommend :-)

Pool was excellent on the hot day we spent here. Still some renovations happening, and rooms furnished with basic table and lounge. Mention of coffee table or similar taken on board by manager and owner, who were both friendly nice guys. Seafood and wine restaurant I will not recommend, service and food here we're not good. I will go back in 12 months and give it another go, looking forward to seeing where the resort ends up after all renovations are finished.

It’s a great place to chill, get entertained, eat and above all the staff are super friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway. ✌

This is our 3rd stay at the resort as our yearly getaway and the transformation since that first year has been incredible! It's become a topic of what has changed for the ride up. The restaurant and pool were the biggest changes of this year and what a credit it is! The restaurant was nice and open with beautiful ocean views while eating nice food with local beers on tap. Pricing was reasonable and service was spot on. The pool and the pool area has been completely updated with nice realistic looking synthetic grass with glass fencing so you could enjoy the water views. We were made aware that there are still plans to improve the pool as there was a lack of shade. The room was also renovated and updated with a clean and modern layout. It had airconditioning and TVs in the lounge area and bedroom. Small but adequate kitchenette. A great place to get away with kids as there is plenty of space to ride bikes, scooters, etc. Tennis, squash and basketball courts with gear available to be borrowed. The only downside was the wharf/jetty not being open due to construction and upgrades. With that back open and shade at the pool area, I would be rating 5 stars. Look forward to next year.

Despite ongoing construction we had an enjoyable time out. The two pools, squash, tennis and free Wi-fi kept all entertained.

Nice rooms but the front door is old and you have no privacy. Overpriced. Breakfast not included in the room cost. Feels unwelcoming and unfriendly.

Pretty basic resort so far. While we were staying there construction was still happening and the outdoor pool was not open yet. The Wi-Fi couldn’t reach our room and our room didn’t get cleaned while we were there. Even with this though, it was a nice and relaxing location and the BBQ’s were a great option for dinner. Looks like it will be a lot better when all construction is completed.

We have a very lovely stay for 2 nights. However, the outdoor swimming pool was closed for repair. We were expecting for that, unfortunately they couldn’t finish fixing while we stay. We have experienced a confusion when booking online. It seems like we have booked but after we called the hotel, they didn’t get our booking. So make sure to call and check with the hotel before you go*. After we experienced the problem, they gave us a very good cottage with 3 bedrooms close to the coast. It was a very pleasant stay. They have air-condition in the main room and heater in our bedrooms. The warm spa and indoor pool was amazing. We like the playground. We haven’t experience their bar & restaurant. Overall is good.

Disappointed, not enough flavor in the dishes for the price.

New and clean, generally nice stay. Restaurant a bit overpriced but common in similar hotels. Looking forward to the new facilities being built.

Gee wiz what a great place we attended a wedding on the weekend to which was rained out and then informed was going to be held in the resort The Manager did everything he could to make sure the Bride and Groom would be happy with the layout for the ceremony and then he and his staff turned the Restaurant around into a beautiful dinning area for the reception this is the best customer service I have seen in many many years nothing was an issue for Daniel who is the General Manager and his staff we had a great time the wedding was lovely and everyone loved the food and the service was tip top We will be back in the new year and will hopefully be able to have my 50 birthday at the Resort Rooms look great and we were nice and warm keep up the great work guys see you soon Jo.

What a great place to stay and dine we had a ball the family loved the new indoor pool staff were great and always helpful Management was helpful and went over and above to make us happy for our special time away We will be back for Xmas thanks to the Management and staff great job keep it up.

What a great place to stay gee wiz the resort has come a long way from when I was last here I would have to say that the staff are the best I have ever seen and went to lengths to make us happy the General Manager came out and welcomed us and we even got a upgrade dinner was also a major improvement from the last stay the indoor pool is great as well can wait for the new wine bar to be finished and can see myself sitting back and having a wine or 3 in summer We will be back once the wine bar is completed Cheers David.

Arrived 4pm on Sunday afternoon to find no one in attendance. Phoned number that was on notice on reception door. Lady very pleasant but not very enthusiastic about accommodating us. Quoted higher price than what was on internet stating that she may have 1 room. The place was deserted probably could have taken our pick had we been able to get in. Also told no meals available. She was happy for us to try down the road. Another vehicle pulled in and left as did we. We are home grown so this is embarrassing Tassie come on lift your game.

Stayed in the suites. Units are very dated and much due for refurbishment. The resort is undertaking a phased-in upgrade process that cannot come soon enough.

Really friendly staff. Clean rooms. The new renevations are well done too.

On arrival very disappointed. First impressions matter. Obvious major renovations happening, the whole place even the driveway in disrepair. A thought, shut the place down do the upgrade and then make a statement with a newly refurbished venue. Good position but lacked everything else. No one in reception on arrival, room just passed but tacky outdated decor, a real step back in time. No wonder they wanted full payment up front when booked. If we hadn't paid upfront we would have driven in and driven straight back out again.

Nice clean cabin good value for money.

Our room including bathroom was very very dated. Used thongs in the shower as it seemed dirty. Resort was very run down, couldnt use the beach as it was full of huge jelly fish. Restaurant was closed so ran down the road to get some things for a BBQ but even those were filthy.

My husband and I just had a weekend getaway. Totally loved it it. Cabin was spotless, indoor pool was great, Restaurant food was lovely, staff were wonderful and helpful. All in all a great place to stay. Bed was so comfy. Everything that you need is there. Great Bakery in Orford as well. Highly recommend it. And so peaceful.

Had the best long weekend away here just recently. New owners have done a great job to the property! We stayed in a resort apartment which was very spacious, although it isn't the most modern accommodation it is very clean and comfortable. Kids had the best time in the heated pool. Will stay again next school holidays.
