Well I see why they want full payment on booking. When you turn up, you will want to leave. Very basic park, no fencing at all which was very concerning. Wi-Fi hardly works, once you get connected expect really slow speeds, this is with very few guests in the park too. Expensive laundry : (

We stayed there on our last night. Friendly service, cost for an unpowered site for two people is 30$ per night. Large, fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, plate, bowls, etc. ). Outside is a sheltered area with a barbeque and two large tables. The bathrooms are very clean and warm as well. There are three unpowered sites and a large number of cabins and powered sites available. Ideal for a stay on the first day or last day.

This place is hidden in plain sight. I've been driving by it for years without notice untill a friend pointed it out for me. They do bread, sandwiches, pastries and coffe. The bread is truly amazing. Flavoursome, with great texture and bite. It reminds me of the bread that my grandmother used to bake (I was born a Croatian peasant). It never seems to go stale, and is great fresh, toasted or a week down the track. It's just wonderful.

We found the receptionist was quite rude, she charged us a surcharge for paying with eftpos (not credit card) and was abrupt when questioned about it The park it self is very new, but we did not stay in the area shown on the photos. We were at the back off the park. The problem being that you come through a security gate at the front but our site at the rear of the park faced the local service station with only a grass paddock between us. (no fencing at all) Anyone could have driven over and helped themselves no one would notice. May as well have free camped The toilets and showers while they were clean, there wasn't enough of them for the size of the park only 3 showers and toilet cubicles. This was the dearest park we stayed at in Tasmania very disappointing for a Big 4 park. May be ok if staying in there cabins.

This place may be close to the airport but the planes are sporadic enough so that you don't really notice them. The cabins are comfortable, clean and warm. The beds are nice also. The only problem is the Wi-Fi which is intermittent and unusable most of the time. They really need Wi-Fi extenders around the site.

I did allow that Josh sounded like he was new when taking my reservation. He had to continually ask my details. He had to put my credit card through twice as he punched something incorrectly. This was the only place that took the full cost amount while booking in the 2 weeks of touring around and staying in van parks. This took quite some time to do, but this at the time was forgivable. I was told to call up on the day to see if I could get in earlier. When I did, Josh informed me that I did not have a booking, in which I had paid for in full the day before. After trying to explain to Josh again of the conversation that we had less than 12 hours ago, and prompting him to maybe even look up my mobile number instead. This is where he had confessed that he had put an incorrect name. This once again took some time and stress to sort out. Once arrived, he was on the phone with someone who sounds like had the same problems in which I had experienced with him. Once settled in to our overly price site, not only to stay but laundry cost. We tried to boil the power jug for tea and it tripped the safety switch. When we tried a couple of times and called out the after hours management, they mentioned that this was a regular occurrence. NICE! This would mean that we did not have power for the stay in which we had paid for. I did speak to Josh when handing in the keys the next morning in which he did say that he would tell management.

Clean facilities and camp site. Very nice stay and so close to the airport.

Clean & quote roomy. Fridge with a decent sized freezer was a bonus for travelers. New playground for kids was also a bonus.

The Travelodge Hobart airport has a very welcoming staff, the room I stay in I clean and very well maintained. The restaurant has a lot to learn, 3 times we ordered steak; The first time my son ordered medium well and got well done, on second occasion my other son ordered medium rare and got well done and on the third occasion I ordered medium rare and got well done. Although they find it hard to do anything but well done the flavor of the food is great.

Super friendly helpful staff. Very clean and tidy. Was only planning to stay the 1 night but ended up coming back for another 3 nights as we felt comfortable :)

My son and I stayed here on the weekend and I can thoroughly recommend the Park. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin which was lovely, clean and spacious. The cabin had all the facilities that we require and the staff were lovely and helpful. I can definitely recommend the park and I certainly would not hesitate in staying here again!

We found the Hobart Airport Big 4 spotlessly clean, the cabins warm, comfortable, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
